Hi Julie I'm finding this difficult as I have not seen this stitch before is it your own or does it have a name as I need more practice then come back as it's gorgeous.. thank you 🙏
I completely understand! I did adapt this stitch from a square pattern to in the round. I am going to try to upload a stitch tutorial video for this stitch tomorrow for you. I also use this exact stitch in several other videos. They might help explain it a little better, as I am certain that I explain it a little differently every time. Here is one of the videos (I chose this because the stitch is much larger in this video than the others, which might make it a bit easier to see, I hope). th-cam.com/video/pT6URZrHkIw/w-d-xo.html
It takes some practice for sure! I just posted the stitch tutorial for this stitch (here is the link): th-cam.com/video/dKnfGLgsguA/w-d-xo.html If you give it another try, please let me know how it goes and if this ended up helping you. Even though this is a more advanced crochet stitch, it is very forgiving, and the thing I love the most about it is I don't really have to worry about accidentally adding or dropping stitches. Even if I do, the row with the diamond stitch corrects the stitch count naturally - which I love. Happy crocheting!
I'm definitely going to try this pattern! I think it would be perfect for camping. Thank you!!😊
Yes! That is what I am using it for actually lol! Thank you so much! :)
