I grew up snow plowing with a Diamond Vee 💎 plow. The original V plow had 3 settings for the angle of attack on the blade one was for gravel driveways, the second was for asphalt the 3rd was for heavy Ice conditions.
There’s a couple of pins that hook to the frame of the truck, then you have a couple of wires that need to be disconnected. And the whole unit will slide right out relatively easy. Hope that helps. Thanks for the question

How do you take the mechanism off that lifts the plow?
