    Thanks for the info. Just purchased a 2017 GMC that came with a plow and needed someone to show me how to hook/unhook. Super simple, thanks for the video!

    Good work caveman 💪💪 that was perfect video for me bc this is my first year operating the plow truck. I hooked up Fisher straight plow before but not a boss. Thank you for that

    I wish I could connect my plow that easily I always have issues with aliening the pins with the holes getting the truck close enough to the plow the plow at the right height so the hooks on the truck match

    I am on the fence about weather to get the full trip or trip edge. Any input would be appreciated. I’m not really getting it to make money. It’s mainly for my driveway. I have heard trip edge is terrible for gravel driveway.

      I would say go with the full trip if you have a gravel driveway and you're just going to be using it for personal use. Regardless, It's a good idea to plow with the blade up off the ground an inch or two until the ground freezes so that you aren't digging up the driveway which will make it uneven and a much rougher plow. Hope this helps!

    When the pins go in, do those springs that hold the pins go up or down? My plow is connected and one spring is below the pin and the other above it. Thanks

      I believe they are both suppose to be below the pins - perhaps one of them is bent?

    just got a new truck and it had this plow. my driveway is level but has a slight incline. the plow pins would not release. is there a way to block it or something to get it to release? i had to face my truck down the driveway in order to get it off but the control on the plow didnt work, the pin only released when i hit the joystick control inside the truck

      Hi Craig, thanks for the question. I'm not 100% sure, I haven't had that happen to me, but usually when I have issues I'll usually take it to my local dealer where I purchased the plow and have them look at it. Perhaps give that a try. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck!

    Just bought a truck with this plow, kickstand is missing, had to block it up. The little switch is the key, don’t unplug before you disconnect. Thanks for the explanation.

      I think the kickstand is easily replaced, something a local BOSS dealer should be able to do for you.
      No problem, all the best!

      Meant are the plows universal? Can u run the v blade on the Chevy too?

    • @louch.landscapes
      @louch.landscapes  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, the plows are universal, the mounts are specific to the truck. So I can put both plows on both trucks, which keeps things flexible in case one goes down, etc.@@phillipdeist9183
