@@ZeugirdorVin I just used a stopwatch it was 3.81 seconds. My guess would be they would have clocked the ball right when the clock hits zero, Referee probably would have put 1 second on the clock after video review.
The Hochuli crew was horrid the whole game. Phantom calls against Washington all day, but especially in the second half keeping drives alive for the Saints and Saints' scores.

That kick didnt count anyway because the play clock for the quarter expired before he kicked it. So him missing it didn't matter as it happened after they should have blown the quarter finished. They let them kick again because they had to as the first kick was in dead time and not official.
It’s ridiculous you got big boards around the field showing the clock and it’s a game with playoff implications so you better get this right plain and simple.

You guys missed one point. This did affect all Washington 6 pt teasers -1.5 Washington and Buffalo was a very popular play. Complete bs. No accountability. No statement. Nothing will happen
I think the ref thought it was a turnover on downs? It was fourth down, maybe he thought he didn't reach the line to gain or that it was fourth and goal instead of being 4th and 3. That would make the most sense to me at least.
It affected MY gambling, Pat. Lol. I teased the Commanders down to -1.5. If time had run out, I would have won almost $500. Instead, I lost $100. Not life changing money, but I would have been pretty damn happy about it!

Is it possible that the ref thought that the Saints didn't catch the ball? He was running in kind of nonchalant as if he thought it was a full on dead ball. This game was blatant. The league has to investigate this game.
Officiating has been terrible this year, just like every year it seems. It's definitely not getting better.
Notice the grin as Shef says he hasn’t heard from the league. He knows just as well as the rest of us that the refs are terrible and and the league never does a goddamn thing about it, which makes them complicit. I’m about over the NFL. May as well watch the WWE.
I think the ref was not aware were the sticks were, the only reason to stop the clock would have been for a first down. You learn not to make that mistake when you officiate high school. There is do much nepotism and politics on hiring NFL officials this is what you get.
