They also didn't call the blatant pass interference on the Saints. That last bomb to Terry the corner ran into him before the ball arrived without turning his head. There were two terrible personal foul calls when the Commanders were rushing the passer. This was very bad and any doubt I had on game rigging is gone.
You should have been tipped off on that spread. Played an equivalently worse Tennessee team where the spread was 13.5 and then the spread drops to 7.5 against a crappy saints team? Writing was on the wall there.
Skins fan: I don’t normally criticize refs but this game seemed odd and it wasn’t just one thing. Those refs were not watching the game that I was watching and the ticky-tack calls were in contrast with some no-calls, like Luvu being held in the endzone (it’s a safety). And the bizarre clock mismanagement by the refs, both on the FG and the end of the game… what? That officiating crew should be broken up. On the FG, the poor refereeing helped washington, but they were not expecting to kick it. They were trying to get an offside penalty or otherwise run out the clock and then kick it in the 4th.
What about the 8-10 made up calls or non calls against Washington before Hochuli's crew stopped the clock for 4+ seconds? The refs kept at least 2 scoring drives alive for the Saints with all their phantom calls.
Terry pulled up on one on the left side and messed up the timing. Also the blatant P.I. Not being called on the last. He did miss him on that first one by a yard and a half. Gonna happen tho. All said and done JD5 was electric yesterday🙌🏼
It’s nice to see these two Washington haters come around… but it also shows the downside of national jobs. Did they watch the game? Jayden literally missed two deep shots, if he hit one of them the game is dusted. He is amazing… but to say he never misses a throw after a game like this where he had two high profile misses.
@@oilcan2787 I know. I count three deep shots total. They didn’t connect on any. One I would put on terry and the other two on jayden. Regardless, even if you put just one on Jayden it’s still a missed throw. Simms says he didn’t miss a throw. If he made that one it would have been 27 to probably 13
@@balzleyHe doesn’t lead in passing yards and has double the amount of ints as Jayden. Jayden has a significantly better completion % and QBR. Combine that with him having 250+ more rushing yards and it’s pretty easy to see who deserves ROTY.
Ok one thing I need cleared up: End of the third quarter, Washington lines up for a FG, misses the kick, refs signal no good and award the ball to NO BUT time in the quarter expired, NY buzzes in, says that doesnt count, Washington rekicks at the start of the 4th. So wtf, how is the next snafu not reviewable again?
Not the first time Washington goes into New Orleans and it feels like the refs are against them. That MNF game in 2018 it felt like everything was against the redskins just to get Brees his record
Did these two get some glazed Daniel donuts before this video? He incredible, he never misses a throw? He missed 2 or 3 deep shots that could have been TD's.
Tell me you didn’t watch the game without telling me you didn’t watch the game Chris Simms. Jayden Daniels literally missed three deep throws to Terry McLaurin in the 4th quarter. Any one of those would have ended the game. I love the kid and think he’s amazing, but let’s be honest. He had multiple opportunities to put the game away and he didn’t.
To be honest, at least one of those misses was on Terry, and one clearly should have been a DPI. The first miss, Terry slowed up just for a split second. I think he was reading something and hesitated just for a beat. That was the difference in the ball being perfectly thrown, or overthrown by 3 inches. The one on the right sideline was a clear DPI that they refused to call. It's also getting pretty old watching this O-line give up a free rusher on nearly every snap. Not going to win against good teams until they get that shored up.
@@tigerhoods7927 Y'all are on one today. My comment was directed at Simms not Jayden. Simms saying that he never misses is ridiculous because every QB misses throws. He clearly didn't watch the game. Not many are capable of making the play that Jayden made on the first TD to Terry. That's why he is special.
Anybody gonna talk about the kick at the end of the third quarter? The Commanders hiked the ball and missed the kick but the game clock was already at zero and the refs missed it and didn't blow the whistle at the end of the quarter, so they end the quarter and let the Commanders kick again at the start of the fourth (of course they made it this time). The officiating was all over the place in this game, historically bad! Not a Saints or Commanders thing, just all around bad officiating.
What difference would it have made?it wouldn't have count anyway.the same way when they ice the kicker.what if the kicker made it instead of missing it the first time when the game clock was at zero?
As ridiculous as the final play was, Washington deserved to sweat that after the play calling on their final drive. Why would you even risk taking a sack or a penalty at that point while ALREADY in FG range? Why would you throw the ball multiple times and risk stopping the clock rather than forcing NO to use their final timeout? Worst case scenario, they miss FG and NO has to go 3 further yards than they did, with ZERO timeouts, rather than 1. No chance Saints score in that scenario.
Shawn Hoculi is worse than his dad. Worst ref crew, they make games unwatchable. They started off giving us the calls, which I never trust because it’s obvious the other shoe is gonna drop. Later in the game, all the calls started going the saints way. The FG at the end of the 3rd was insane. Then the clock stopping at :09 for 5 seconds. In the NHL, they’d call that a make up call for the FG. And even that’s stupid because they shoulda blown the whistle and ended the quarter before he ever kicked it in the first place. What a joke.
Not sure why the refs let the play continue but it makes sense that they got a re-kick. I mean they snapped the ball for the kick like 5 seconds after the clock hit 00’s for the quarter.
Can't believe all these Commanders fans talking about the refs cheating for the Saints. Why is your team in a close game against the Saints, who had Haener and Rattler at qb. Enjoy your win and be quiet
