Burrow is putting up MVP numbers, if they had a winning record he'd be the mvp favorite, ja'marr chase is on pace to get the triple crown/opoy, trey hendrickson is the league leader is sacks which usually adds up to the dpoy and the bengals are 6-8. Embarrassing is a good way to describe this season. Could you imagine if the defense had been playing just slightly better and the bengals had the MVP, OPOY and DPOY? wild.
Wow, this is the first time I’ve ever watched you. I noticed some of these issues as a fan, but you broke down every single angle. Hats off to you good sir, this was amazing production. Great stuff.
Dude, Jomboy is the friggin best. I'm SO glad to see this. I had been hoping he would do one on this situation. And he came through. That deserves big praise.
Burrow needs a more aggressive coach. Zack is too soft which is why bengals are sucking and burrow is tiredd of it. Telling burrow not to score the td and just kick a fg he said f no. Those other teams didnt do that so fk that shit.
There's no evidence that Zach said this, is there? Someone made this claim in a separate video, but while I don't think it would be a big deal anyway - most coaches run out the clock - there's no evidence that Taylor actually wanted that, either.
@@joellahrman4557 Yea, it's going to probably be fatal mistake if they get what they want, though. This happens every year, though. Didn't Titans fans start griping about Vrabel, and now they're 3-11 without him? I remember even Steelers fans wanting Tomlin's head a few years ago..luckily the management didn't listen.
@@joellahrman4557as a Bengals fan, I give a lot of credit to Zac for our 2 year run, and I think he’s what the team needed when ownership brought him in. At this point though, he feels too passive. I’d be willing to give him a chance for one more year, but there’s tons of problems all around this team. The offense is the only part of the organization that is excellent. Defense, special teams, coaching, player development, and ownership all suck. Zac can turn most of those around, but if he can’t, he needs to go. We lost a lot last offseason and it was necessary to keep Burrow and Chase long term, so regression was expected, but things need to change. Almost all of our losses have been winnable games decided by one score, so I still have hope for next year, but it’s just shit on a field rn
He was pissed because the play before the touchdown they got a delay of game call when the coach didn’t get the call in on time. It went from 3rd and goal from the 1 to the 6 which is what pissed him off.
So there’s actually some more context to this clip. Burrow is saying “This is fucking embarrassing” because Zac Taylor (Bengals HC) is not trying to run up the score on the Titans, because he’s friends with the Titans Head Coach. Zac Taylor is reported to have said that he would have preferred they scored a field goal instead of a touchdown on their last drive to make the score closer, and Burrow is upset about this because they’re a 6-8 team with a very talented offense, they’re just being held back, and it seems like Zac Taylor might have something to do with that
That's a ridiculous theory, because a FG would have made it 34-21 and kept it a two score game. Furthermore, it's a ridiculous theory simply because it's ridiculous. Bengal fans would blame Zac Taylor if their oatmeal had too many lumps.
2:00: Jonathan Taylor of the Colts did the same thing today. His gaffe was both embarrassing and also probably cost his team the game. With a 13-7 lead on the third quarter in Denver, he was running in for a 41 yard TD that would have put the team up 20-7 with the extra point. He dropped the ball at the goal line, on the white of the out of bounds. The TD came off the board, momentum stopped, the Colts never scored again and the Broncos put up 24 points after that to win the game.
I thought it was because the HC was giving him guff for scoring and not telling the RB to go down at the goal line because the HC is buddies with the Titan's HC and he didn't want to run up the score. Burrow was basically telling him to "get the blank away from me"
The worst part is the Chiefs offense does the bare minimum and gets by with a win by their kicker and they are 12-1 and Burrow goes all out and his defense sucks so much that they are 6-8. He literally put up 30 plus points and they lose. The Chiefs defense has 6 turnovers yesterday and the Chiefs offense still scores only 21 points. That has to be really frustrating right there if you are a Bengals fan and Joe Burrow.
That’s the definition of a Tena player and leader. Even though he has incredible stats this year his team isn’t going to playoffs and he’s ripping mad.

This just shows how being a pro athlete is all about luck. Mahomes has an excellent team where he can shine and get trophies. Barry Sanders was the goat yet his team sucked. Same goes for Allen Iverson, charles barkley etc etc. It sucks seeing great talent being hindered by the rest of the team and retire with 0 rings while a bench warmer player gets lucky and retires with 4 rings all thanks to the rest of his team

Some of the greatest generational sports talents are squandered in Cincinnati... I say this born and raised from there. My baseball icon, Joey Votto, had similar wasted potential in his prime years. Such is the life of a small market team. I feel for Joe.
I described that game to someone by saying "One team repeatedly self-destructed and exposed all their substantial flaws while underperforming in their best aspects. And the other team was never going to win the game." No serious disrespect intended to the Titans, but I'm inclined to believe Burrow was saying they should have won by eighty (exaggerated, probably meant like 40), because that's how I felt. @@legupff This is the mindset that all GOAT level QBs have. Plenty of videos here of Brady chewing out Belichick and Arians, and Manning chewing out Dungy, Fox and Kubiak.
@@RickyIcecubes Burrow wasn't chewing out his coach. The whole sequence shows that's not actually what happened, but also while that's not a good look, it's a worse look to be such a curmudge to your team when they worked hard all week and won a game 37-21.
@@legupff Another thing that nobody's taking into consideration is that he's still seething from the break in and intrusion into his private life that occured a week prior.
@@legupff BTW they won by 10 not 17. The score was 37-27 not 37-21
Haha. I came here today because someone said "we need Jomboy to break this down!" Boom!
I love his spirit. True winner
record in the nfl says otherwise. I hope he gets out of that horrible franchise.
Not even a Bengals fan but Burrow deserves better
Was waiting for this
He was talking about the whole game being embarrassing and he is right. That’s what I love about Joe; he strives for perfection and isn’t happy to just get a win when they play bad.
It’s good to see this in him.
Its awful to be a Bengals fan rn. We are simply wasting Burrow's best season of his career with a terrible defense and constant mistakes. Just sad shit
Burrow has probably 5 to 7 best seasons coming still, he's only 28.
@@fromulusgreat, so the Bengals can waste all of them
Just so they don't give an astronomical amount of money to Chase and have no money left for defense. If I was Burrow, I'd renegotiate for less and help the defense and O line.
@@mysteryman3547 that's one thing about Burrow that absolutely made me lose a bit of respect for him. You're still gonna be rich and have hundreds of millions of dollars anyways, what difference does it make when you have generational type wealth that you will never be able to spend all of in your entire lifetime? Just take the pay cut so your team field a respectable roster, but noooooo. He wanted to be selfish and now he's wondering why our defense is such trash like buddy, it's because it took all of our goddamn money to pay YOU!! There's no money left to get good defensive players. Look at Brady, 7 fucking rings because he always understood that taking pay cuts helps the rest of the team be better. It's just selfish honestly, he clearly doesn't care THAT MUCH about winning, he might care somewhat but clearly not enough. And this is coming from a Bengals fan who absolutely loves Burrow but like come on dude, you can't take 90% of the salary cap and expect to have a good team around you. It's asinine
@@mysteryman3547nope bump that, the Bengals are supposed to build a team around him, a player should never take less money for billionaires
2:26 Oh my god… imagine supporting a team who does something like that. I could NEVER…
Good for Joe. It WAS embarrassing. That's what you want out of your leader. And he is 100% doing his part this year. He should demand a trade
If he did that’d be back breaking for this organization… although I’m sure they would never trade him even if he wanted out
@@TheForbidden_1ne - They're so far past having a broken back at this point. Players need to learn from franchise guys like Barry Sanders. Stayed loyal and for what
@@ikigai47 lol, it's Burrows fault the team is so bad. If he would've just taken a paycut then they could actually afford to have a decent defense, but noooooo. He wants to eat up 90% of our salary cap because he's selfish and still expects to win? Dumb logic
If he's traded, he will not do as well. Most teams don't have Ja"Marr Chase and Tee Higgins getting open almost every play.
@@SportsTalkElitistthat contract doesn't take effect till next year, doesn't apply to this season
Jomboy does a really good job with the story writing and only giving away the crucial first person details at the end after creating a lot of speculation for the viewer. Always been great, just doing it even better. Long time fan, love your work!!!
One of the top qbs in the game and his team sucks. I feel you
“Emu face” snuck up on me 🤣
I agree, it was embarrassing! Win or lose it was embarrassing.
Thank you for this video. Having seen what the issue was I understand his frustration even more.
I think he said we should’ve beat them by 18.
Bro I have subscribed. Real good analysis and the emu face comment cracked me up.
This reminds me of how I reacted to games as a kid. Sometimes, good things would happen to my team, and I would also still be inconsolable. Even though it's childish, it's still completely fair given what he's done individually and how that hasn't translated to team success.
Stop the cap, you never played anything.
@carlosrobles5591
You sound like you need a hug, bro
Burrow is putting up MVP numbers, if they had a winning record he'd be the mvp favorite, ja'marr chase is on pace to get the triple crown/opoy, trey hendrickson is the league leader is sacks which usually adds up to the dpoy and the bengals are 6-8. Embarrassing is a good way to describe this season. Could you imagine if the defense had been playing just slightly better and the bengals had the MVP, OPOY and DPOY? wild.
Bengals fan here, agree with Burrow. We should have won by 80 and that final set of downs before the score was embarrassing.
Dancing around for a touchdown when you are 6-8 is absolutely embarrassing
joe has every right to talk down to zach like that
Joes the only reason Zac isn't out there holding some team water bottles
“Number 27 lost the ball, possession of the ball, before he dr-crossed the goal line-therefore the field…is a touchback!”
Wow, this is the first time I’ve ever watched you. I noticed some of these issues as a fan, but you broke down every single angle. Hats off to you good sir, this was amazing production. Great stuff.
I was hoping jomboy would cover this!
Yes, that's what makes Joe a badass. He doesn't accept below average play. #geauxtigers

I’ve been sitting on the toilet for 15 minutes and “emu face” had me laughing so hard I finally got across the finish line 🙏🙏😂😂🤣
Hahaha
What he says is: "F*** that. We sucked today. It's embarrassing.. and we jumped offside f****ing 8….(times)"
As a Titans fan, I totally get why he would say that
Steelers fan here & him and chase have been playing absolutely great so I understand his frustration as far as winning go
Burrow needs a more aggressive coach.
@@legupff Correct, there is zero evidence of this. It's just Bengals fans making up shit so they can blame Zac Taylor for something new.
That “ohhhhhhh shit” caught me off guard 😳🤣
happened twice this weekend...such a dope move. Indy guy did the same thing going into the endzone.
The emu face was funny as hell
This is my favorite segment on this channel 😂👍🏿💯🔥.
@@joellahrman4557 that’s the thing, this isn’t a theory, someone from the team said this
@@Rastafarianinja Source? Who is 'someone'? We're into Young and the Restless territory here.

Burrow was basically telling him to "get the blank away from me"
Giving the ump a hard time for not getting the words out had my rolling lol
I can’t imagine trying to satisfy this man
An average defense would do it (and win a super bowl).
@ HAHAHA Well I suppose it would 🤗

As a Bills fan I can’t tell you how glad I am that the Bengals aren’t in the playoffs
Lol, still haven't forgotten that beat down huh?
love the vids jomboy
The worst part is the Chiefs offense does the bare minimum and gets by with a win by their kicker and they are 12-1 and Burrow goes all out and his defense sucks so much that they are 6-8. He literally put up 30 plus points and they lose. The Chiefs defense has 6 turnovers yesterday and the Chiefs offense still scores only 21 points. That has to be really frustrating right there if you are a Bengals fan and Joe Burrow.
I like that burrow cares but at the same time demanding for Higgins to get a extension is gonna make the defense worse
2:17 nope, you want the ball on the sideline, that's pee wee football shit, he went to celebrate and dropped it
I think coach mustv'e said "Chill out dude, we're winning the game!!" and he said "we're still 6 and fuckin 8"
That’s the definition of a Tena player and leader. Even though he has incredible stats this year his team isn’t going to playoffs and he’s ripping mad.
LIFETIME BUNGALS FAN HERE
Our ownership, GM, and Zac Taylor are absolute embarrassments. We are wasting a generational talent in Joe Burrow. Hate to say in but the Super bowl window is quickly slamming shut because now we are going to have the 2nd highest paid QB, the highest paid WR, and 5th highest WR in Tee Higgins assuming they satisfy Joe and franchise tag him again. Plus Hendrickson about to demand top DE bucks. Roster building gets complicated fast!
Hitting homeruns in the draft and free agency to fill out the roster are now absolute necessities for the the TINIEST SCOUTING DEPARTMENT IN THE NFL. SIX freaking people plus a 25 year GM Duke Tobin who's a lifelong family friend to our 89 year old owner who makes the final decisions on draft day.
And an O line that will make $12m per year, COMBINED!!! Is Chase even getting paid yet??As a lifetime Bills fan, I am duty bound to hate you and the Bengals :) BUT I feel your pain and couldn't agree with you more. A GM's performance always has a certain degree of luck involved but we are fortunate, so far, to have Brandon Beane.
Yes! More football, Jomboy!!! (definitely "still f-ing 6 and 8").
Steelers fan here: Joe Burrow is the man. Oh, how I wish we had him! So impressive. Love his work ethic and competitive edge and spirit. I feel bad for him. Would sincerely be happy for him winning a Super Bowl someday. Just wish it could be with the Steelers. Well, one can dream...

Burrow is an MVP caliber QB and is playing like one, the rest of his team just sucks ass especially his defense and his offensive line.
Their record is not on him and he has every right to either demand certain signings and draft picks, or demand a trade.
This is the definition of a poorly coached team.
thank you for this
Should be embarrassed over the frosted tips
Let's face it, he pulls them off.
I am the straightest guy in the world but I would love to look like Joe Burrow and be the star quarterback of the NFL. Is there not any single women in America and possibly the world that he could not get? Definitely a handsome guy, with the eyes, clean face, and the intense serious face that women love/respect.

That's embarrassing? My 2 teams are the Bears and the Falcons. Hold my beer Burrow.
Because the Bengals are a Super Bowl-caliber team and they're blowing games because of bad defense and bad coaching.
At least the Falcons still have a shot at the playoffs, granted Cousins isn't looking all that good. Maybe it's time for Penix? It would be ironic as all hell if it was Cousins who got the RG3 treatment while Penix shows off what he can do
I’ve been waiting for this video since yesterday.
As a Chiefs fan, I gotta *lotta respect* for Joe Burrow _(AkA Joe Shiesty, AKA Joey Shiesty, aKa Joey Shiesty In the Muhfkin BUildin' Nah wHat I mEaN?)._
what did he expect? he's playing for Mike Brown. He's lucky he isn't selling steaks from back of a truck playin for this family.
But the real question is, how does this affect LeBron’s legacy?
I agree with Joe! It's embarrassing to be that close and struggle so much to score. Yes they eventually did score but it was the journey that was embarrassing.
I think it was ‘we are still gonna be 6-8’ and he was embarrassed of Brown’s celebration and crowd taunting.
Yes I agree with him not just this game the whole season is embarrassing to have this talent and have this record Taylor needs replaced I’d even be ok if gone before the browns game
HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED... Coach was mad Burrow got touchdown ugh. Titans coach is Bengals coach's friend & he felt Burrow ran up the score !
Good for Burrow for not having it... he was 100%cright.
Completely agree with him. And I love that he's not happy with anything other than a great season, because he knows (we all do) that we have a team capable of a great season. And it's being wasted. We dont have many shots left for that
Some of the greatest generational sports talents are squandered in Cincinnati... I say this born and raised from there. My baseball icon, Joey Votto, had similar wasted potential in his prime years. Such is the life of a small market team. I feel for Joe.
“It’s like 5 words” 😂
I described that game to someone by saying "One team repeatedly self-destructed and exposed all their substantial flaws while underperforming in their best aspects. And the other team was never going to win the game." No serious disrespect intended to the Titans, but I'm inclined to believe Burrow was saying they should have won by eighty (exaggerated, probably meant like 40), because that's how I felt. There is a discipline and general competence problem in this team at least with the defense, because even at their best they embarass themselves.
Thx you I needed that explanation
