Marvin Harrison is the example I always use. He would just hand the ball to the ref and head back to the bench. I guess I'm just old school, and I realize at the end of the day it's an entertainment product, but to me the game is the entertainment - not some stupid "celebration", especially when it's obviously pre=planned and not spontaneous.

There will be time for celebrating in the post season if you take care of the little things. What’s the difference between a “real” Colts fan and just a colts fan? Colts are a loser franchise, have been since 2011. They only looked good from 2012-2018 because of Andrew Luck. Even during those years the Colts roster was awful. Signing an old Hakeem Nicks, bringing in has been Andre Johnson, and, don’t forget about Ahmad Bradshaw. Those Colts teams were awful but they had Luck and that was enough. By the way the best weapon Luck had was a 5 foot 7 wide receiver. Colts are Pat’s team so he gonna ride with em but neither you, nor I, nor Pat should delude ourselves. The Colts are a loser franchise.

I was taught by several WWII veterans to take care of the little things, Dad, 5 uncles, 3 teachers, one college professor, two bosses. These little things made a difference over the course of years. They earned me money, saved me time, saved me money, prevented incidents and accidents. Little things like preventing corrosion on tools, tips for cooking over fire, counting change, estimating projects, clearing snow past the edge of the sidewalk or driveway, answering clearly, showing up when called, clearing a weapon and holding onto the damn ball.

And it took like 2 months worth of interviews for Ballard to decide this is the guy. I honestly don’t think Steichen is as bad Ballard. Trent Ballke is good at finding talent but a horrible GM- he proved it in San Francisco and now in Jacksonville.

It's irrelevent anyway. Anthony Richardson is completing 47% of his passes this year, the Colts are pretenders and they might as well tank until they draft a QB who knows how to complete a forward pass.

Him being able to escape from sacks lower his percentages as instead of a sack he then gets a lower percentage throw. Still has issues but not nearly the biggest issue

@@RicoSuaveTheGOAT You should have made a play for Lamar Jackson when he had the non-exclusive tag placed on him. You didn't. The 2025 draft sucks for QBs. Now you're screwed. Just sit back and watch the Colts waste Jonathan Taylor like they did with Andrew Luck.

Do players drop the ball during practice? Like, during practice they work on the technical details, and once they're done running they drop the ball and hurry back to the huddle, since "i already know how to run to the end zone, i don't need to practice that". And they get so used to it, the habit bleeds into the actual game?

It just goes to show how much good coaching and organizational operations matter. As a Broncos fan, I have heard too many fellow fans criticize Sean Payton over the last year or so. Those people are coming around now and were never right. That guy changed the culture, and I knew he would do so. He is not just great at the X's and O's but also is great at the "human" side. He knows how to build a winning culture.

For the life of me I can’t understand why they drop the ball right at goal line like it’s cool proves nothing if I was a coach or owner I would more than likely release or trade that player first chance I get don’t care how good they are because if they are costing the team they are not worth keeping around.

HOW does this dropping the ball before the goal line keep happening?? FFS... It's so easy to resolve, drop the ball intentionally, you're fired. Also tell the coach, if this happens with any players, the coach is fired also. What are u thinking dropping the ball before u actually score.... intentionally. It keeps happening a few times every year, just mind numbing
