1:53 *currently away from my standing desk and sitting on a bed with my MacBook*...👀 Yeah using the Magic Mouse for hours is rough 7:47 I've been trying to find a good raiser. Have tried and returned a few. One I tried didn't hold it in place and it fell off and smashed my MacBook and iPad -_- ...will have to have a look at this one We need an updated version of this!
Hey man great video. Watched your 4k monitor video and had a question. My m27q 1440p monitors look fuzzy even when scaled to 1920x1080 or 2560x1440 it's still fuzzy and the text is very very small and when I make it larger the quality just gets even worse. Should I get a 32 inch 4k monitor instead of a 27inch 2k? The ppi is around 137 for the monitor I want (LG 32UN880-B 32" UltraFine 4k). I know 27 inch 4k is a no go. I know the only real solution is a 5k display but thats out of the budget lol I saw for your 1440p you don't notice quality decrease but for me it's definitely noticeable. Cheers!
Unfortunately, on Mac, your best bets are either 5K or 1440p. Depending on the size, 1440p can be pretty sharp, obviously not as much as 4K. I personally use a 35" 1440p ultrawide and I'm pretty happy with the resolution. If you don't like Ultrawides, another interesting option is to buy a 40" or larger 4K TV. It has to be big because you'd have to set it to not use any scaling, meaning that everything will look tiny and so the big TV size makes up for this.
I keep my 1440p 27" monitor at "Default for Display" instead of anything scaled. Play around with you monitors settings. My monitor has a sharpness setting that I keep at 0 with my Mac and 80% with my PC. There may be some other settings specific to your monitor that you can tweak. I can see the pixels more on my external monitor, but it's not fuzzy.
@@mintgreen292 If I remember correctly, MacOS does not apply scaling (by default) to a monitor with 1440p native resolution. At least on my 1440p ultrawide, I don't quite remember having to change that option.
