I would say IU is a stylistic vocalist with a very beautiful & unique tone, which is why Korea fell in love with her voice🥰 Her technique may not be the most advanced but still love her as an artist & singer!❤
I like a lot of IU's Songs especially the ones on her Love Poem EP but sometimes I don't enjoy her whisper tone too much, for example in this live performance or other songs. She's still a very skilled vocalist in my opinion
Everyone has days they aren't at 100%. Not a fan but I feel this goes for everyone. Physically, mentally, emotionally, anything can really effect you and your singing.
@hwangjiji They might play instruments. I know there are people who can recognize notes without the use of one but most who play, can play a note and compare it to whatever they hear. It comes easier to some and harder to others but most at least have some ability to recognize the notes being played/sung. You kinda need to have that skill to not only play music but to tune instruments and all that. I think there are also apps that can listen and tell you what note is being hit but I'm not sure.
