I’ve been playing for 10 months. I believe this is going to be my very first entire song I can play through all the way. I already know the solo, but I just need to clean up the palm mutted penta run. I playing the main riff now, mastered that. Im truly excited.
Amazing!! I always had a feeling that this solo was easier than it sounds. You can see the Randy Rhoads influence in Carlos’ fours patterns-except Randy likes to do it using pentatonic majors as well. Great stuff!
dude you are so bad ass. not this song but those tough ones damn they help out. especially the solos. trying to get my gf playing too lo and behold you have those too
Eloy Dlr I know this comment is late, but the guitar he is using is the sterling by music man jp 100 and the amp he is using is some computer program modeling amp. Hope this helps
In this comment chain are people who only read headlines and not the article. If you click "show more" he explains it was originally a Slade tune that you all are screaming about, FFS. Why Quiet Riot in the title? Because he's going over their cover of it.
Good call on the def leppard. No decent 'animal' covers/lessons out there. My band do that and had nightmares working out a couple of the two guitar parts. Sure people would really love that one.
The rhythm guitar part of the Slade version is a different and slightly more involved (I think it’s more enjoyable to play). I like the original Slade version but the solo and the more varied vocal melody on the chorus make the Quiet Riot version more than just a straight cover - it’s an excellent song in its own way.

Chris Brown you really rock. So many songs that I wanted to learn from the 80s, that you teach. Also your teaching is so simple and easy.

This is one of my favorite RR solos!!!🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Wait..... did Carlos Cavasos right this solo??..
*write
@@SkaterChick1972 The solo is Carlos's. Randy was dead for a year when the song was released.
@@SkaterChick1972 Randy Rhoads wasn’t with Quiet Riot during the 80s. He was with Ozzy Osbourne, but he was indeed with QR before they got famous
Justin thanks man you are a legend. Imagine how many people you've taught now through the online medium. Thank you for teaching me so many songs

Actually it's Slade, not Quite Riot. The lesson is great , though.
no
It is quiet riot
@@FunkyFriesLover No, it's Slade's song. And Quite Riot just make a cover. As well as other bands.

Did Slade write this song? Yes. He’s teaching the cover by Quiet Riot though.
