@@caseywlamb8066 No it is about climbing a mountain in the Alps, a famous hiker region between germany, italy, switzerland and austria. The Alps are very tall, so of course there is snow on the upper part, but that is not the intention or the focus of this piece. th-cam.com/video/R2nE2LfVzh0/w-d-xo.html This is the best expression of the four seasons in my opinion. Kennedy explains in between what the next part is supposed to portray. Also Vivaldi wrote a poem on which the composition is based. For winter: Allegro non molto To tremble from cold in the icy snow, In the harsh breath of a horrid wind; To run, stamping one's feet every moment, Our teeth chattering in the extreme cold Largo Before the fire to pass peaceful, Contented days while the rain outside pours down. Allegro We tread the icy path slowly and cautiously, for fear of tripping and falling. Then turn abruptly, slip, crash on the ground and, rising, hasten on across the ice lest it cracks up. We feel the chill north winds course through the home despite the locked and bolted doors... this is winter, which nonetheless brings its own delights.

I return the favour with Lars-Erik Larsson 4 vignettes for "A Winter's tale" by Shakespeare th-cam.com/video/geanBynQCmg/w-d-xo.html Larsson wrote very differing works, from modernistic dissonant stuff to easy-going soft harmonies. "A Winter's tale" is of the latter kind, and it is very relaxing...
Thank you so much for including Vaughan Williams's Sinfonia Antartica! It's my favourite symphony Fun fact: Sinfonia Antartica is derived from motifs and themes from his film score Scott of the Antarctic
I also recall - I hope I’m right - that Vaughan Williams also employs a wind machine in some of the later parts (just as Strauss does in his Alpine Symphony, as was mentioned by Eddie)
I had the privilege of playing Sinfonia Antarctica (double bass gang here) at my technical university in the northernmost part of Michigan; our engineers built a wind machine for us because no one in the area had one available. It was easily one of the most epic and also relevant pieces I have ever played in the middle of our UP Michigan winters.

I love how you guys are so passionate when talking about TwoSet Apparel and your vission to bring Voice of Classical music to the world. It is so inspired. I am not musician or music related working but I feel so chill when I listen to Classical music which is not even has a lyric to touch to people soul. I did get for myself a cute instrument called Kalimba and start making melody, play some song I love, and start learning music theory from most basic thing. And whenever I feel hard or dispirited, I watch your video and remember that you are still practicing and always remind TwoSet fan that. Not only funny but also enthusiastic, passionate and inspired. 😍🥰🤩
I actually bought a Kalimba too, inspired by TwoSet 😄
It is so cute and tinkling sound 😍

@@emmac6596 oh cool yea that is an accurate term for the type of turtleneck, so thank you! I do also have something similar to this shirt, but the reflective black rectangle on the left chest is what I'm interested in (looks like a brand thing) and so it kinda has to be this exact brand 😂 but again, thank you, I'll go do some sleuthing with that keyword and see if I can find something similar :) so weird to be talking about a shirt on a music channel haha but I guess it's fashionable Eddy's shirt we're talking about
When they talked about their apparel is so deep and intimate 🥺

Eddy: “Everything from the muted strings to say - soft ostinato...”
TH-cam Captions: “Everything from the muted strings to say soft pasta nada...”
As a Finn, my cool choice has to also be Sibelius: the beginning of the 6th symphony. The string opening takes my mind to a very specific location in Helsinki, in the dead of winter. So beautiful!
Now that's a Sibbe winter scene I can get behind! Violin concerto (mvmt 1 at least) to me is more like those early autumn chills.
Never been to Finland before, but Sibelius Violin Concerto to me sounds like watching the ocean in the winter.
Twoset should start a company called Practice. All their products just say practice and shock you every time you aren't practicing.

Honestly i am so so impressed and thankful for all the things you’ve done with Twoset apparel! Love all the designs, none of that cheap-cashgrab merch so many content creators out there do.
I haven’t been able to buy one, but rest assured it is my dream to have save some money and then buy one of your hoodies or sweatshirts!
“Ummm... Sibelius violin concerto, I wonder if I’ll ever play this one” we need a Sibelius drop at 3mil!
Eddy has said many times it's his favorite violin concerto. It's coming, guys. Don't worry.
Oh I hope so! Especially the gorgeous passage of double-stops in the second movement!
It’s 3Mil already! Most anticipated event of 2021 now🥳
You guys’ videos broaden my musical horizons! I love when you guys show violin/string techniques like you guys did at 8:31. I grew up playing piano and have gone to many concerts, but your videos make me appreciate the violinists’ playing much more! Love you guys so much and keep educating us violin-knowledge-deprived souls

Sibelius - Violin concerto: Drone view of white landscapes of finland, at sunset
Williams - Sinfonia Antarctica: fear of getting lost, while walking through ice mountains and caves

As someone who just starts to listen to and appreciate classical music, I think this video is very helpful in teaching me how to appreciate the music!! (Yes, I need a tutorial to better understand classical music 😭)
Angel Chiou They also had a Video with classical pieces everybody should know and you should definitely check out the other classical music and chill video where eddy was edwina
th-cam.com/video/R2nE2LfVzh0/w-d-xo.html This is the best expression of the four seasons in my opinion. Kennedy explains in between what the next part is supposed to portray. Also Vivaldi wrote a poem on which the composition is based. For winter: Allegro non molto
To tremble from cold in the icy snow,
In the harsh breath of a horrid wind;
To run, stamping one's feet every moment,
Our teeth chattering in the extreme cold
Largo
Before the fire to pass peaceful,
Contented days while the rain outside pours down.
Allegro
We tread the icy path slowly and cautiously,
for fear of tripping and falling.
Then turn abruptly, slip, crash on the ground and,
rising, hasten on across the ice lest it cracks up.
We feel the chill north winds course through the home
despite the locked and bolted doors...
this is winter, which nonetheless
brings its own delights.

I love your merch so much. I have purchased merch from other channels before and nothing has ever come close to the quality that yours has. Those pieces are some of my favorite to wear. It really shows how much you care about your fans. I can really tell how much effort you put into everything you do. Thank you.
Those are very well-known pieces. I recommend you Szymanowski’s Etude Op.4 No.3 as a chilling piece. You’ll thank me later. (I meant “chilling” as relaxing, not cold. Haha)
Didnt know this piece, just gave it a listen. Beutiful!
It's a nice piece. Not so wintery to me, though
Thank you! I only heard his violin concerto before. There is so much music just besides the mainstream.
It's my favourite symphony
Fun fact: Sinfonia Antartica is derived from motifs and themes from his film score Scott of the Antarctic
I also recall - I hope I’m right - that Vaughan Williams also employs a wind machine in some of the later parts (just as Strauss does in his Alpine Symphony, as was mentioned by Eddie)
I ordered a scarf and practice period shirt for my friends birthday!

Made it to 3M, what a great start for 2021🥳
that epic brass part in the alpine symphony gives me goosebumps everytime man
I had the privilege of playing Sinfonia Antarctica (double bass gang here) at my technical university in the northernmost part of Michigan; our engineers built a wind machine for us because no one in the area had one available. It was easily one of the most epic and also relevant pieces I have ever played in the middle of our UP Michigan winters.
