    I appreciate the look at your suspension set up. I'm in the process of buying a manual k5 with a 454 . I'm going to build the snot out of it.

    🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥goals 👍I have a 71 beautiful k5 .... I already have my 14 bolt full float factory disc brake axle the only problem is that it’s in my backyard and not on my truck the front axle is damn near impossible to find and when you do find one they’re asking 3-4 k for it ouch !!!😖

    I did the crossover steering on my Dana 60 but still need to finish my ram assist unit. Turning on 37s is kinda like manual and that’s on road. ORD makes a sway bar disconnect kit for the crossover unit.

    Great info sir.
    Ive found the front willwood brake caliper set. I am having trouble finding willwood calipers for my 14B full float though. Would you happen to have any links for that?

    • @DSRE535
      @DSRE535  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s the exact same as the front, and then I bought a rear disc brake conversion kit for the rear that uses front calipers from I believe diy4x

    I picked up a m1009, has 10 bolts it'll be a while before im able to get 60s do you think 10b and 35s with chromoly axles should hold up? No crazy off roading and beating it up, but will take it out i believe in driving it there and driving it back lol but your input would help thanks !

    • @DSRE535
      @DSRE535  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The m1009’s were 8 lug 3/4 ton I thought?
      But yes totally know if you’re not being crazy on it 10 bolts are fine for quite a while I’ve ran in before with 35s and i was fairly hard on them
      The biggest weakness I found was having an open rear differential spinning one tire and then the other tire catching and it would blow up the spider gears but other than that it did fine but
      I wouldn’t put any money into them, You can save up for bigger axles later
      They are stronger axle than you think, Don’t get me wrong you can break anything if you try hard enough but within reason they do good

      @@danielr.7870 yeah you can’t listen everybody lol but yes I understand the Internet we had you believe that the minute you let your truck down off the jack that the 10 V will snap in half but that’s just not the case, the internet can scare you out of doing just about anything and make you second-guess everything you do in your truck but just go have fun, fix it when it breaks:-)

    Hey Derek, that my name too! Hey, do you plan on doing anymore videos? I'm thinking of subscribing if you are.
    Also if you are going to make more content, can you please turn your phone 90 degrees when you're recording so it's a full screen video? You would probably have over 1,000 subscribers by now if you recorded full screen videos. I just binge watched all of your videos and they were alright except for the narrow view record you did, I think that's why you didn't get very many thumbs up with some videos that had none. Don't worry, I corrected that.
    Anyway, make sure to let me know if you plan to make more.
