Damn man u r a freaking genius!!!! I came across your videos by accident on you tube and it was like fate!!!! I have a 77 gmc squarebody and I'm restoring it to show quality and I want to do even more than just restore it. I want complete custom everything and I just couldnt think of anything to do for the suspension except for maybe coilovers, but now after watching your video on that 4 link in front, that us exactly what I want to do and man it will look so amazing. I wish that I could contact u directly cuz I have a bunch of questions and could really use your advice. I'm starting with a 77 gmc that I had when I was in high school and its gorgeous right now but I want to take it to the next 10 levels, u know... i want to win awards and i would love to be able to take it to sema or autorama...thank you again for the videos and everything. Hopefully one day I could 5th alll to u directly. If I succeed in doing what I planned and if I win anything, you better believe i will give a huge shout out to u my man for giving me the ideas to really take my build to the next level. Thanks again and keep up the great work.
So i want these brackets . I need these brackets- all i need to know is what years of later Gm’s do i need to take seats out of ?? 2006 and newer ? What do i need
@@MerricksGarage absolutely! That's been a big concern of mine because my son is 2 and still in a car seat and my daughter is 7 and still in the booster seat, when are you going to start selling these?
Do you by any chance know if your seat brackets would work in a full size bronco (1985)? I’m not sure how similar the floor plan is on them compared to a blazer...
i love that front bracket, it is super slick. i don’t like the look of the rear bracket. it looks like you lose cargo space when the seat is folded up. what about putting the rear brackets in metal pockets that drop into the floor so they are flush?
Hey man!!!! Awesome job on manufacturing your own brackets. I used your old blueprint for a k5 build I was doing. Will have to order some from u soon to do again. But hey, any ideas on a front bench seat well. I have 5 kids and want to be able to get them all in. Was hoping to match the newer escalade seats.
We need a video on your center console you never mentioned it in prior videos. love that bracket 👍 Man your blazer build series is death to my wallet....🤓
@Weekend Pursuit Outdoors I used black leather seats from an 03 Tahoe I think 99 to 06 is the seats you should look for. There is so many option, color, leather, cloth.
I should have a lot more pics and media coming shortly. Shipping about a dozen brackets in the next week. Mine is a little misleading as I have the rollcage in it.
Got a question..why are the seats so far forward almost in front of the front seats? If I buy the brackets will my Tahoe seats that I have for my blazer be that close to the front seats. Iv been looking for brackets for my blazer to put the Tahoe seats in. By the way my blazer is a 1974
they look like E46 seats, which makes me wonder if the power works. Also, was the seat mount modified to fit the K5 bucket seat mount, or the opposite?
Front would have to be modified to either accept a ubolt like the back mount or drill holes in the Suburban floor. Since the Suburban uses the recessed pin at all 4 corners.
Dang, those are some nice looking mounts! I’ve fabbed some myself and it is not easy to make everything fit. Definitely worth the price.
Thanks man. For as simple as they look to get seats to fit and clear mounts and several other issues was challenging
I just shared this video! I look forward to purchasing my own set here in the near future.
We were literally about to sell the 3rd row seats from my lady's Tahoe... Never thought of this. Awesome idea!

Thanks man. Check out my website it has contact information
Awesome idea Merrick, I’m going to buy a bracket for sure now. Thanks from a fellow leather head
Plug and play is always nice
When you do the roll cage please do a video of it I wanna see where and how you tie the cage into the frame.
Love that new bracket. Will be getting one once I get to that point. One step at a time!
They are on sale right now 😉
Did you get to that point yet? I had mine almost a year and putting in today
Awsome video. I am finally putting my brackets in almost a year after I bought them
Great!
Just purchased a set, look forward to installing them in my 2wd K5!
So i want these brackets . I need these brackets- all i need to know is what years of later Gm’s do i need to take seats out of ?? 2006 and newer ? What do i need
Them seats look nice and them custom brackets looks great
I am going to do a cage like yours and now I have to do this seat bracket and setup! That would be perfect for my kids!!!
Yea it’s great! My kids love it and I feel better having safe seats in the back
@@MerricksGarage absolutely! That's been a big concern of mine because my son is 2 and still in a car seat and my daughter is 7 and still in the booster seat, when are you going to start selling these?
They are for sale on my website. Sold a ton of them. Www.merricksgarage.com
@@MerricksGarage awesome! Thank you!
Very nice. Pretty clean and simple install.
What are your front seats? Are they out of a Escalade as well?
Definitely want a set especially since I dont have a roll cage & have no intentions of putting on my top after i get my softopper
yea, once you use the softopper the hard top kinda becomes obsolete
Awesome brackets much needed . i need a set .
Yes you do! 😂
Need to order those brackets
Does this inhibit the rear view mirror? About to sell the old yukon, but I don't think I'm gonna let the third row seats go with.
Love what ya do sir.
No more than factory bench but safer
Do you by any chance know if your seat brackets would work in a full size bronco (1985)? I’m not sure how similar the floor plan is on them compared to a blazer...
I don’t. I will put a call out locally for bronco owners. Worst case scenario floors can be drilled and backplated
i love that front bracket, it is super slick. i don’t like the look of the rear bracket. it looks like you lose cargo space when the seat is folded up. what about putting the rear brackets in metal pockets that drop into the floor so they are flush?
Too many moving pieces. Honestly they would take maybe two minutes to unbolt if the floor space is needed
Will you still be able to keep the inside tire carrier?
So when I go to your website and order them, the quanity is 1, and thats for the set, for the rear seats correct?
Correct

thanks man. When I get some free time, I would love to design something
These look great! What does it take to remove the seats entirely (so you can sleep in the back while camping)?
Thanks!
they just unclip using the factory releases on the seats
Well done
Did you make a video doing the front seats?
I haven’t done a video yet. It is on my list!
I am curious about thr front seats
We need a video on your center console you never mentioned it in prior videos. love that bracket 👍
Man your blazer build series is death to my wallet....🤓
center console is from Tuffy Consoles.
Can you make one bracket for the Chevy k20 82 use the seats 2004
I will start working on something.
Please let me know when you have some thin me have four bolt in the bech sear
What is that liner over the bedliner material? In your bed ?
It’s the LMC floor
Will your brackets fit a 2014-2018 Denali front and rear seats in a 1985 K5?
They should although the brackets may make the front seats too high
@@MerricksGarage what seats do you recommend for a 1985 K5?
@Weekend Pursuit Outdoors I used black leather seats from an 03 Tahoe I think 99 to 06 is the seats you should look for. There is so many option, color, leather, cloth.
How easy was it to install these?
can you spin a wrench?
Are the brackets available to purchase, if so - how & where?

Do these work for the 2nd row of a 1985 k20 Burb? Don't need the third row and was planning on running the cargo carrier you have in the k30 burb
sorry not for the second row!
The link doesn't work. Are you still selling these?
Yea. I have front seat mounts now too
www.merricksgarage.com/new-products/seat-brackets
It would be good to see a adult size individual sitting in the seat to show headroom.

not sure what you mean about how far forward these are. The go where the factory seat was mounted. Same location. Uses same bolt holes!
@@MerricksGarage ok thx for the reply. If I order the combo brackets..both front and back brackets how long would it take for me to receive them?
You should make these to fit suburbans and crew cabs
They fit the burb third row!
So where do you buy and want new design
Nice work. What do you have as front seats?
they look like E46 seats, which makes me wonder if the power works. Also, was the seat mount modified to fit the K5 bucket seat mount, or the opposite?
Do you still have the brackets ? For sale
Great video Merrick
hey buddy how can I get that new bracket?

yes, it works as long as you have the four bolts in the back. And yes, front seat bracket is available on website. www.merricksgarage.com
