The white insulator is from a house wiring. It’s from knob and tube wiring. That’s an old fashioned way they used to wire houses and building when electricity was first put into homes.

    • @Johnnydoxx
      @Johnnydoxx 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

You got it! 1954 - 1964, my Dad and myself rewired more than a dozen homes, switching out the knob/tube for Romex with coating.
We just left the old stuff in the attic or wherever, too much damage trying to pry them out of the joists.

Fantastic finds today Tyler. The stapler looking piece, is a seal stamp from a company. If you restore it, you will be able to read what is on the stamp. You need some waterproof gloves, so your hands dont get cold from the ice cold water. Sardines is a strong smelling, and tasting fish. My father loved sardines with spanish onions on a sandwich 🥪. Have a great day my friend ❤️🙂⚘️🛠🧲.

When you find a rope attached to something snagged, you should figure out a way to fasten your magnet line to slider loops over the snag line, (maybe plastic tarp clips) and feed your magnet line down it to see if you can use your line to dislodge the snagged one from above… if it won’t then just pull your magnet free and leave the snag behind.

The object that you called a Spatula is called a "Slick" it's a large chisel often used for Timber Framing joinery. It's made of High grade hardenable steel. Worth cleaning up and keeping.

24:04 This is NOT a spatula, but a large Chisel, Definitely Hang Onto That Piece, because there are millions of people who collect old tools, and cleaning that thing up without using any surface grinding but just removing the rust by using some Rust Remover Chemical and you'll have yourself a good collector's piece!

The knob/ tube wiring from old homes built in the late 1800s into the 1900s contain porcelain (knob), and was worth some money if there was a market for it. The larger porcelain you find on transformers aren’t sought after as the older knob/ tube. Unless you know somebody who wants to build a Tesla Coil. Great video Tyler.

The claw ball, I’ve seen those as legs to antique cabinets or writting desks, basically just fancy decorations w purpose. Someone probably chucked one such thing into the river instead of taking it to the dump....or who knows? The structure that was there may have manufactured the furniture, or stored them, and this leftover stock fell into the water with the remaining walls, etc.

Have you ever fished on the government pier by the Marina on Lake Michigan in Milwaukee. We use to go Smelt fishing there every fall. The guys would all eat sardines while fishing. I didn't like them. There's many different kinds of marinates. Plus we lost many things over the years as well as the pole fishermen that go there. Plus its right by the yacht club and boat launch. Another place right there is the Lagoon at veterans park. Next to the War Memorial downtown. Paddleboaters and fireworks there every year. Thousands of people go there. Closed to the Summerfest grounds. You might want to check it out.

Tyler pretends something is a gun
    Finds a Frankie
Pretends to ride a bike he's pulled out of the water
Finds a railroad spike (limit 2drinks)
    Finds cutlery
Finds an anchor (this one does not apply at the 'fishing lure spot')
    Or says
I ain't never seen nothing like that before
    Cash money
What do you think of this one
Can't get it up (yell Viagra! after this one before you drink)

@ 6:00 that is an OLD knob for knob and tube wiring in the old days.
Nice cart! Where did you pick that up from?
@ 10:02 that is a seal press like for an engineer's paper work or notary stamp or seal.
You'll feel like a millionaire once you pull up someone's lost magnet!

Hey, Tyler, I have a theory about the area. You're fishing it that might have been an old farm because that insulator you found was to an electric fence to keep Cattle in so they probably used around the edge of the river.

Put a life vest on with your waders. Waders are just for keeping you dry; the life vest is to keep you alive. The first like looks like a post office lock

Has it been that long? 1st of all, 23:08, heart shaped leaf. Anyway, I was going to note, no clams. But then a couple on the bike. They can't be those invasive Zebra Mussels, right? I have never seen them in groups of under, like 500! You taught us about them ages ago, and it is so interesting how some rivers have them.

My goodness Tyler, be careful out there.
I saw a teen ride a bike downhill to a fishing dock. At the end he went airborne flipping on the bike. About 30 feet out he came up with out the bike. 😮
    Please be careful ❤
