Finishing up a bag today while I anxiously await the arrival of my box (which is out for delivery). My workspace is cleaned and organized. Excitement level is building. Thank you for putting together this fun project box. What a brilliant idea that took a lot of planning and organizing!
I just purchased this pattern and the cut video was helpful. My "workspace" is part of a dining room table, so I always seem to make a mistake somewhere cutting my patterns out. I have a rotary cutter, but the mat is quite tiny. I am looking forward to making this bag.

I’ve already made one and carried it to work…love it! I haven’t received my box yet since I’m in South Korea but used the PDF download. I made it with a recessed zipper. It’s a great bag to get your sewjo back because you can cut and sew it all in one day, there’s no interfacing and you can use nylon webbing for the strap and connectors to make it even faster. I can’t wait for my box to arrive and to see everyone else’s twists on their makes.

Yay! Thank you for this cutting video. I was patiently waiting for the email and found it in my junk mail 😳 yesterday. I just received the notificaltion that it will be here on Tuesday! I printed out the pattern so I wouldn’t waste time cutting that out and could get started on the bag right away😊 I’m sew ready for this💕

Question: why do you like using the long hair clips vs the plastic clips???? I know the plastic ones leave marks in vinyl is that why? I only ask bc I think the hair clips are beautiful but I can't quite afford as much as I would need to start using them. I feel like I would need 50 to 75 of them and I'd still use the other clips for more stability I think when at the machine as needed. Also im so excited I just placed my first order with you! I forgot I wanted other hardware bad on my part. An excuse to by again!
I bought my hair clips at the dollar store years ago. Buy what you can afford and use what works best for you. When you are ready, buy the pretty ones from Lauren. Mine aren't open. Lol

Yes! We had hoped to have webbing in the box for that reason! But it didn’t work out sadly.
I love the color of blue the lining fabric is! Glad there is extra! Can’t wait to get my box! It’s on its way! Yay!

Use freezer paper you can iron the pattern pieces to fabric, no paper moving around.

Sometimes I want a firm grip and sometimes I want a light grip
