I can't even find the words to describe how beautiful, touching and honest this song is! You can really feel the the pain and agony in Kyo's voice and no matter how often I listen to it, whether the live or the studio version, I'm feeling a constant shiver down my spine, letting me feel the samebway he does while singing it...this is not just music, it is pure art and Love! Thank you for existing, Dir en Grey!
Finally got some energy to watch some vids and WOW as usual XD Direct translation of the song makes it sound cheap and simple, this uploader as usual, goes on point on how Kyo wants to describe the "world" the "story". Her translation always helps me love the entire song itself :) I used to love the vocal of Kyo in this song. Some people can say it's different from the direct translation. But this is completely on point with the story being described. Not sure how to explain this, but she's translating the story and not just the words being shown. Amazing work as usual!
Probably my favorite song. Thanks.... PS: wow, I must admit one thing: I never paid enough attention to Die's arrangement in this particular live. Amazing. The man really has a r'n'r soul. That's why they are so good. They never cease astonishing you.
I really appreciate your consistent and faithful translation to Diru videos! You make me understand and going into deeper state of oneness to Diru's works! You're the best, Peri!
... y’know, I thought it was _scars_ that were the proof of living, not blood, but I’m not exactly sure how I came around to that. Perhaps I took the metaphor from this song and overemphasized it for me personally? Maybe I read a translation that was a little too obvious? It’s somewhere in between that. From a Structuralist perspective I could still be right, since it’s a meaning configured by myself for myself from the text....? (Could a translation even be analyzed in such a way?) Ugh, this project is wringing the life out of me. Thank you once again for retranslating one of my all-time favorite songs from Dir en Grey. 🙏
Oh, I like that interpretation, too! And I hadn't thought about it that way. Kyo is also mentioning this concept in "The Final", and there is this one particular line in "Vinushka" that goes "うねる流れさえ生きてる証と - uneru nagare sae ikiteru akashi to" - which I previously translated as "If only for the surging flow being proof of being alive..." (around 2:32 in this video th-cam.com/video/p7m2NUu9V5k/w-d-xo.html ). That's how I came to this interpretation. My pleasure, and you're very welcome!! ♡

I listen to this song many times. And I am starting to read the lyrics also. Truly the best!!! Truly phenomenal!!!
Voice of another world!!!👍

Thank you!! ;-; The "deeper state of oneness" you describe... I'm incredibly happy to hear that you feel that way.
I've never heard that ending before, thanks
I'm so glad you approached this song again. It's one of my favorites and I'm really loving the new translation. Thanks Peri.
Love it! Great translation! I am almost crying! What a song!
Thanks for uploading this one again, it's one of my absolute favorite songs!

Wow, I was wondering if you would one day remake the video in 480p. Thanks, this is my favorite persion of this song live.

I knew there was some correlation between "The proof called living" and "With the proof in the name of living," but I wasn't sure what it was.

I actually used a separate audio rip because the audio quality of the video wasn't all that great.
You're welcome! ♡
