What do you use to record your test audio.? I’ve tried just regular voice memo but the background noise can still be heard clearly like not working I have the Oro sound tilde pros
We record on a computer with windows sound recorder using the USB Dongle connected the the PC. Make sure your mic boom is bent to be about 2 fingers from the corner of your mouth and also while on a call turn on voice isolation support.apple.com/en-lamr/HT213683
We'd say the Tilde Pro is comfortable for many hours of use but it's also very subjective because everyones different. With any new headset though there's a 2-4 week break in period to know the true result of how long you can wear them for before needing a break. And, yes neep.com is going to be awesome!
I purchased the Orosound with boom mic for this specific reason. I was on a Teams call and when I am not talking it does let through the sound of the other person. So I need to mute myself all the time. This is not how it is supposed to work right?? (firmware is updated and mic is bend to my mouth)
Please also leave here the instructions. I am thinking of buying these headphones but I need to know if I am not speaking if the background noise ( child crying, television, spouse talking ) will be heard and I need to put on mute every time I am not talking
It ended up being a misunderstanding from my end. When you are not talking and there is background noise, it might let through a very short sound which then gets filtered out immediately.
Both will be comparable but in our opinion the Evolve2 85 will block out more noise for what you hear. Orosound took a different approach with their ANC. They wanted to create an experience to reduce distractions enough to keep you in the zone, but also keep you somewhat aware of your environment for safety reasons.
We mainly provide headsets which include the microphone which you can shop our options headsetadvisor.com if you just want to add a microphone check out the modmic 2.
Could you suggest a headset that is also good for mobility? So I can carry with me instead of an earbud. My Bluetooth earbuds (and most others) don't have great call quality, probably because they don't have microphones close to the mouth. Maybe I am wrong but I feel like I should get headsets instead of earbuds to have great calls.
I had some family members that moved in with me and we need two noise canceling headsets for talking in background and babies as well. Is Neep available yet and do you need it for each computer and I will not be interested in not spending a whole lot for headset. Can you just use it for wired ear plugs without a new headset? Unsure how long this will be the living situation.
neep is now available and you can try a free 7 day trial. If you do try neep, make sure your audio device in the neep app is set to default. From there you'd want to make sure neep is set as default for mic/speaker in your call or meeting software.
@@HeadsetAdvisor thanks. Do I need to buy noise canceling headset as well or should be able just to use the my ear phones with my PC and the software? Also what is a reasonable price headset you recommend if you cannot download the software.
@@ronicmwest If you have an existing headset, neep should work well, otherwise you could get away with using just about any headset with a mic boom for the best performance. If you don't get the software, the Orosound Tilde Pro is the best to get with an enhanced noise canceling microphone and would work best in your type of environment.
...or you'll be living in a van down by the river. :) what might be a good headset for someone who wears RITE hearing aids? They would have to completely cover the ears as the ones that sit on top make a feedback screech.
😅 Orosound Tilde Pro we've heard works well for those with hearing aids, you'd want C+ for the over-ear cushions. headsetadvisor.com/products/orosound-tilde-pro-bluetooth-noisecancelling-headset?_pos=1&_psq=tilde+pro&_ss=e&_v=1.0&variant=40450096857246

Here again, can you let it run for awhile after you stop talking and just let Brandy talk while your silent
Thanks for your feedback to help us improve.
is the Orosound Tilde Pro comfortable on the ears when using for long hours?
gosh, this neep thing seems like such a game changer!

Pretty good I may say. Not a lot of distortion at all, which is a good sign.
Thanks for your feedback :)

Doesn't the Jabra Evolve2 85 block talking humans around you better than the Orotilde Sound?

What if we like your headphones. Do you have recommendations for standalone mic? Preferably good for travel

We've found the same result with just about any earbuds we've tested. Which devices are most important for you to connect a headset to?
I always connect to my phone. And sometimes my laptop. @@HeadsetAdvisor

Any idea how much the subscription will cost once it's released?
Around $10-$12
