- In this video I go prospecting for gold in a new creek. My first day was super successful (video link below) so I camped overnight and went sniping for gold again on day 2.
I find a very rich gold deposit once again and have to battle the elements of cold water and exhaustion. Join me on my two day gold prospecting adventure in Tasmania.

Hi Levi, nice video of a cracking day , just a couple of bits of advice for you , first grab hold of a couple of pieces of that plastic corrugated sheeting that they put on brick pallets, and put them under your tent to stop the cold from the ground ,it worked for me. second buy a pack of space blankets off ebay for a few dollars, seeing the steam rise off your wet suit made me shiver , you will end up with serious flu . I just wanted to tell you I enjoy your channel so much. Thank you very much for posting these. Living in the states I doubt I will ever get to enjoy your beautiful county in person. So you help fulfill a bucket list item somewhat. Just for the record I am very happy you have a eberb (spelling?) device. I have often thought man one wrong step on some of those steep banks you go down could lead to a bad outcome. Thank you for letting me escape mentally from this virus thing. I work at a major hospital where I live and things are getting very real and they say the worst is yet to come. You helped me lower my stress level by bringing me along on your adventure. Well done 👍, greaty haul lovely bit of crystalline gold.your on fire and it looked like you were when you steeped on that coal 🔥. Bloody cold by the looks and it only getting colder.
Years ago I found a reef containing crystalline gold. The gold was mainly six sided crystals located in the centre of vugs which were coated in fine gold and crystals. Back then gold was around $20 per gram, I were selling these for $60 per gram and even more as specimens. Beautiful look stuff. I kept two of the best looking ones, only to come home one day and found my brother dollying them up, he thought he was doing me a favour.

Mate it’s freezing 🥶
New sub. I was out on the river yesterday. Southern Oregon, USA. I am prospecting an area of bedrock. I bike 2 miles to the river, my gear is a pan, a prybar, a long nail, a paint roller handle, spoon, fork, a cat litter scoop for my classifier, and plastic coffee cans with lids to bring back concentrates. I brought back probably 50 pounds of sand in my pack. I use a big plastic tote to pan my cons at home, and the sand and gravel either fills potholes in the driveway, or gets spread out between the raised garden beds. Love your camera work, drone footage, and accent! I prospect with minimal investment in gear, but eventually I will get into the wetsuit game! Will probably get a metal detector before a wetsuit though.

Once your boys see what you have been doing and how much gold you bring home, they are going to be upset that they didn’t get to go with dad. You will have to come back soon with the boys so you can have one of your contests. It is so nice to see you make it a family outing with a big bonus. Maybe by the time they are ready for the University, they will be able to pay their own way!! Wouldn’t that be nice.

Live on the other side of the planet. Gold isn’t free even when you find it. The cold and the work you put in proves that. Don’t know why but couldn’t help but think of our young military folks and what they suffer for us with the cold/heat, etc. Many others are doing so much for us right now. Hard for me to imagine.
We are blessed to have good people in the world that still care and sacrafice for others 👍🏼👍🏼

Great second day. I couldn't imagine being in that cold water all day for 2 days. I've scuba dived in water about 50F and could only take about 1/2 hour. You were rewarded well. Still love the guitar😊 Keep you and your family safe and can't wait for the next video.

A toilet share with you my dad played for the ventures. You're surf rock music wipeout pipeline, Walk to run was one of his favorite. His last venture hes 85 lives in Saint George Utah. And is currently playing in the country Christian rock band. Then he started about a month and a 1/2 ago. Obviously you keep your distance be safe for you and your family.

I sure wish we had good luck at in Indiana but we don't only have small Flakes and little bitty Pickers that we're not Australia either where are United States and most people to go visit in Colorado in California Arizona and sometimes they do it around the Indiana but most time it's up there in the western part of the country but it looks good with you finding I can't afford to go to Australia so I just be satisfied while getting here in Indiana you have a nice day and I like watching your movies have a nice day Richard Stout out

Great vid Levi , and another load of awesome gold too , well done mate . Yeah my prospecting has come to an end for now until this crap is over . It seems silly to think i go out in the bush with hardly a soul around , but i got a three hour drive to get there and if the cops pull me up and see where you come from then you cop a 1000.00 fine , and yet i could go fishing where i live , seems like total BS to me .
Yeh there’s a bit of confusion in there rules we have a rule you can go boating only if it’s necessary to catch fish to eat 🧐 right...... so everyone just throws a rod in the boat and goes out boating
