    That's the very fist vision on youtube of the fms fox crashing that I know of, if you call an inverted landing a crash. A true testimony of how good those models are. With all that manoeuvring it never tip stalled once. Credit to pilot skill level too. Expensive? Yes, but worth every $. Great video. Sounds like you guys had heaps of fun that day.

    I always claim my crashes are caused by interference...it was flying great till I interfered with it!

    With "MATES" like these, who needs enema's ???

    • @PeteSztencel
      @PeteSztencel 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmm... An enema's a pain in the bum all right, but I used to love flying with a good group of mates (or even 'mates'!). Sunday morning on the local Common: flask of hot tea, huge pile of sandwiches, 5 million bags of crisps, plenty of good-natured banter and wind-ups and leg-pulling... Brilliant! And it was nice to have someone to help you pick up all the bits of balsa and propeller and Solarfilm and spruce and Rx padding and servo arms and piano wire and - ;-)

      @@PeteSztencel So just the same as the fella's I used to fly with.....Isn't funny how the laughs flow non stop UNTIL it's your own model......always seems to bring a black cloud to the day when you bend your own....watching other's have the bad day is ALWAYS more fun than being "In the Limelight". Shame too, you were flying really well, and the model looks like it flies really nicely.
      Shame the FMS foam fruit box company charge like wounded bulls....the kit alone for this model is $700+ AUD. THAT is HIGHWAY robbery when each one has under $1.50 worth of foam balls in it, and the molds have already paid for themselves. These should be coming DOWN in price, not going up, but ALL of the FMS range in Australia has tripled in price in under two years. Money grubbing will kill them, like it kills all the greedy suppliers. And their models ARE NOT WORTH THESE PRICES. They are just NOT THAT GOOD. A GREAT example is their Mustang. It is now on revision 8, still flies like a dog if you can't fly a warbird, and still costs over $500AUD for a dollar store foamie........I can buy enough balsa, spruce and plywood to build 10 models for that price. And they won't suffer polymer breakdown over time.....

      @@bitemykrank1970 Nothing like building a model from scratch. That said, it hurts less if you don't when it crashes. Then it's just a financial pain.... I don't have the time any more, but the feeling of creating something from some spars and tissue and glue, until it flies, that's irreplaceable. Also the prices you mention are insane. Since you can get it on Alibaba for around 300 US dollars, maybe you should set up an import/export business! Unless that's where the money gets added?
