I've learned so much from you channel and love your videos. As a fellow Trinidadian I am so excited to see how you represent our culture through food. Chris you're an inspiration, keep up the vibes!
Chris please, please, please open a restaurant! There's only a handful of 'OK' trini/Caribbean restaurants in toronto. We need a man like u, that prefers quality over quantity!!!
I love your channel!, greetings from The Netherlands but from a fellow caribbean folk 😉 (Aruba). I am a vegan so, I would definitely be trying this out ☺. Keep it up and take care!
Made this in lockdown with some onion granules, powdered garlic, tinned coconut milk, & sweet chilli sauce as replacements and it still tasted amazing! Thanks! Do you have any other vegan recipes?
Grated nutmeg, hmm, interesting. Have to try this version for sure. The lemon or lime juice at the end is good for sure. It's great in peas/beans dishes or rice and peas/beans cookups too. As usual Chris, yummy dish. Thanks again for keeping the 🇹🇹 flag flying high and proud. Happy Independence to you and all Trinis here, in advance. GOD bless, tfs.
most of the liquid you saw was not from washing.. I realize that the spinach itself sprang those juices. But I could have drained it in a salad spinner too. thx
My grandma always made this but added pigeon peas in it. Yummm... This brings back memories. Thanks Chris! PS:thanks for the lime/lemon tip

Great recipe. I recommend squeezing the liquid out of the spinach prior to cooking to reduce the liquid.
