I just finished making it and it looks great, I used regular flour and added a bit too much milk so i was freaking out a bit when the dough wasnt listening to me lol and my mom laughing at me since i never did anything in the kitchen before but I gotta say for a first try Im very proud of myself, thank you for the easy to follow tutorial :)

Hi Steve, I attempted this recipe today, obviously more for my children then me hahahaha, I followed your instructions and found my dough was a little tough so added a little more milk as suggested, this worked a treat, I only changed one thing, I left the ends separated rather then pinching them together, I am so please with the outcome, looks and smells delicious, looking forward to having a piece with a mug of coffee and I suppose I had better share it with the kiddies :) thank you xx

I have never been so proud of a loaf of bread when my husband and I made this the other day. The whole family loved it. Its nice to bake something, leave it on the table, and watch it disappear.

I just caught this video this morning. I ran into the kitchen and got started right away on this recipe. It is such a gorgeous bread I was not going to sit on it for 1 day to try it out. Your recipe gets the big huge WOW factor. OMG it is soooooo delicious, so tender, so perfect in every sense of the word. My daughter came over & couldn't wait to dig in & she had to leave with half of it and the recipe!!

This is a wonderful recipe, I've baked it several times now. I made one slight change....after I cut the circle into 16 pieces, I twist them all twice in the same direction, press the end down and don't connect them at the tips. This way you get 16 pieces to tear and share instead of eight! I wish I could post a picture here, it still looks beautiful with the 16 pieces.

Still haven't tried it since I am sharing it with others, but I can't wait! Just wanted to note that 450 g of flour would have indeed resulted in a dry dough-- I used 400 g and will be trying 410 g next time to make it easier to roll out. Thanks again!
Soobin Dokko The bread was a great hit, but I felt like the dough could be fluffier. I suspect that the hammering and pounding I was doing to the poor dough destroyed all the air bubbles and resulted in a doughy bread. I'm going to try another recipe (one that I use to make my cinnamon rolls, which are amazingly fluffy, but the dough is stickier) and be gentler with the handling. Hopefully it will be even better this time! Fingers crossed :)

Aaaaaaaaaa I made it. It looked and tasted great. I used as u said 400grams instead of 450 and I still had to add milk to the dough, I think the flour I am using needs a lot of water. Thanks for sharing. I love your videos they are so clear and simplified.

Thank you so so much for this recipe! instructions were pretty clear, I used all purpose flour and lactose free milk instead, turned out great though! I made braided chocolate chip with leftovers :3 everyone loved it

Yes, I often needs Tinkering with I just found in Malaysia the Flour contains almost 30% more Moisture. Thanks for persisting.
