My mother-in-law was French and she made these for the family dinner on Easter and they were so delicious. I never realized how much work it was. I loved her cooking but her children took her for granted. My mom never made anything from scratch, my mom bought everything already made. One Christmas dinner she had set everything out and was scooping ready made potato chip dip into a bowl and she said next year I’m going to have to take more short cuts, my daughter and I looked at what was on the table, everything was store bought. Mom hadn’t made anything.
How sad. My mom who is European still to this day makes fresh bread every day, she is 76 years old. European culture is so much different than American. She thought me how to cook and bake. I always made from scratch cakes for my kids birthdays and Christmas dinner is always everything fresh and made from scratch. It takes long time and all day but you also love to cook. Some women don't like all the work involved in it

When my mother-in-law had her funeral, I her daughter-in-law was the only one who cried for her. She had 3 daughters and a son (my husband) I really loved my mother-in-law and I was a wife, a mother and a homemaker. I worked hard at providing for my family. The 3 daughters all worked at jobs, one was a 4th grade teacher married to a math teacher in a middle school, she made him do everything. Another daughter was a nurse with 3 children and she is a terrible cook and another daughter has had a variety of jobs. She was a terrible cook too.
@@summert5021 Your Mom sounds like mine, she was German and came from a family that owned a bakery. Since she baked everything from cakes, breads and cookies without using a recipe, if I wanted to make it, I had to watch carefully to make sure I got all the ingredients and amounts right! I still bake everything to this day and I am 84!
I love to learn how to do everything from scratch yesterday I made cinnamon rolls from scratch did the dough, the cinnamon filling and glaze from scratch and it taste delicious and so soft too. I will admit I do take some short cuts and buy already made sauce and spaghetti in a box when I decide to do spaghetti and meat balls just the meat ball I do from scratch.

Seit wann ist in einem Brotteig so viel Milch und Butter? Und wird in so vielen Schichten zubereitet. Vllt lieber noch einmal probieren . Bei mir hat es gut geklappt
es ist nicht echte croissant aber es schmeckt trotzdem. es ist mehr wie brioche. durch dies dass es ist nicht kalt touriert die Hefe hat schon gewerkt bevor es ist tourniert. außerdem sie hat nicht gesagt dass dies croissant ist.

Hi to everyone! Looks very nice, pretty sure it tastes delicious too! But to make this croissants takes whole day! It's sooo many not bad other recipes for croissants, easier and faster to make. It doesn't worth it to spend whole day and then eat it for once (for family)! But huge respect and big thanks to the person who shared this recipe with all of us!
