20points -13 rebounds per game for a career. Two titles and had one stolen game seven. 30 years later, the only players of era talked about more are Magic Bird and MJ.
@@cdjhyoung wtf are you talking about?
@@eazye519 I think he just said what he's talkin bout
Most watched team in the history of the NBA
Bill Laimbeer no uso tatuajes como lo hacen ahora...bien por Laimbeer
NBA Sideline Commentator- Laimbeer gets in a fight seemily once a week. You may have a point there.😄
😂😂😂 that was funny when the commentator said that
The thing the way remembered was yes he was a bad boy n knew how to get into the opponents mind n off their game, but he also the first cat who put his body on the line to break up other fights n protect his teammates. He indirectly probably saved a lot of players on both sides from serious injuries due to his size n getting between players.
My f****** hero
How could Bill Laimbeer and Brad Daugherty have co-existed as All-Star teammates? Both made the All-Star team multiple times.
Bill Lambier was a helluva basketball player! If you don't believe me, ask his opposition! Nuff said.
15:26 Solid connect. Don't see that too often in NBA fights.
I both loved and hated Lambeer, his play style was both dirty and brilliant.
Draymond Green could murder someone on the court and Laimbeer would still be the dirtiest player ever.
He was the only nba players who used to fight many of his co players , he was the baddest player among all nba players i should say !!!!
I'm a simple man. I see a Bill Laimbeer highlight video, I click "like."
One thing i loved about this era…is that most people didn’t hit the floor unless they were thrown or pushed to the floor. Now they fall to the floor just because they made a layup.
Evil villain?
He was a great player and the kind of guy I would want on my team, and I'm a Celtic fan!
Mans was boxing everybody and instigating fights lol
@@Stunna2Tactical and scoring and rebounding as well
@@andrejamison2723 Yup, he said that his job was to come into the game and “Muck it up”. That’s how the Pistons operated, never letting their opponents get comfortable, or go off without receiving a couple of hard fouls at least. A player willing to do all the dirty work for his teammates and team! I think he was a great player, with great basketball IQ and 3 point range.
No matter who the player is if he has intentions of seriously injuring opponents and possibly end their careers, that’s weak sauce in my book. I’m cool with the pushes shoves and intimidation tactics that’s his thing but when you literally plan to injure someone, can’t respect that. And on that note , I’d have him on my team as well cause ain’t no way I’m playing against him lmao
Phantom of the opera in basketball with that Mask on 🤣
bill made basketball worth watching
He was a Warrior
Not a single NBA team that wouldn't want Bill. Played hard. Skilled. Two way player. Never took a night off.
Toughest white dude in NBA history
9:49 Everybody was Kung-fu fighting!😂😂
The punching sound effects with Parish 😄
I’d love to see LeBron try and have a 40 pt game against Laimbeer
Every body say if lebron played in80s hell if he played in the80s he would have been a Piston
This whole video is Bill acting like didn’t mean to do the shit he did
The type of guy you would hate to play against but would enjoy to have wearing your team colors!👊
How the hell is it that the biggest bully on the block was a tall lanky white dude name lambeer? Dude made you afraid to score, and thats his brilliance!!! He was gonna knock you out if you did.
He was a low talent thug. Not no talent. But low talent. He’s lucky he played on the pistons.
@@TV-ob1if when the big skinny white guy is your enforcer, betta watch you back punk. White people know how to boss you around and make you look like you are in the wrong. The pistons played that karen shit to the T with Lambeer.
Let's make this clear:: Bill Laimbeer is a bad person, not a true competitor but someone who would intentionally injure an opposing player to win a game. Despite his two championships he is not a hero, someone to be revered, but a scumbag, someone to be despised.
The way the Detroit announcers defend Laimbeer is hilarious
Lambeer was a very talented player, but the dirtiest player BY FAR!
100
Tallented you say.... seriously
@@castle972 I'm Brazilian, sometimes I make mistakes while writing in English...should I write in Portuguese or French?
My boi LAMBO!!! I love the bad boy Pistons!!!
Bill's job was to be a bad mofo. And he did just that.
Why would you like a team that couldn't play well enough to win without cheap shots? Oh well some people don't have class. They thought they were a dynasty but the bulls took that from them.
Yea.,. One thing I'll say about dude ... Was he was ready to go .... I love it.
Great video
Put Vol 2 out 👊😎
Vol 2 is out man check it out
Random clips in random order, about as good as Laimbeer deserves.
I've never met someone who wasn't a Pistons fan who liked this guy.
Haha true I might be the only 1. I’m a Celtic fan but Bill was like a WWE heel back in the day makes it more interesting
I'm a nuggets fan but always liked him. I miss the rough days. Pistons were no fluke
Bill was probably the best cement head to ever play in the nba.
Laimbeer is a good dude… great teammate anyone would love to have
Love your stuff!!
I like how the refs didn't call a flagrant foul on parish and just let it go. Even the refs.knew laimbeer's reputation and hates him too.
The sound affect at 10:00 minute mark, reminded me of the 70's n 80's kungfu movies 🤣
God tier video man. Tap Tap
Respect Bill as a player but damnit i smile like hell when parish drops him
That was a cheap shot. Not a fair fight
@@steveo3831 still smile
@@steveo3831after hundreds of cheap shots from Bill . Secondly bill would get his azz whooped in real fight with Robert dude was a karate blk belt .
@@steveo3831 Tit for tat
more volumes please! LOL
I hated the pistons ... I was a laker .... I think though all the players deep down afraid of laimbeer cause he was crazy and he didn't back down
Actually rodman is in my top 5 all time favorite players
You know when Robert Parrish hits you you ain't a very nice guy
In the 30 for 30 about the Bad Boys, The Pistons trainer at that time (Abonour, I think his name was) said after he was knocked out by Parish, he gave Lambeer the smelling salts, he looked around and alleged to have said, "The refs didn't eject (Parish)?" LOL!
Actually, Parish and Laimbeer had several fights during the '80s.
Ya I'm a Celtics fan
Parish chepa shot him 3 times. I wish Lambeir would have sent him straight
Well Parrish had plenty of practice smacking his wife around.
Ay thx for the content I’m gonna study this! Thx again!!
People don't realize, the Celtics were just as dirty as the Pistons. The Pistons really weren't anything special when it came to their "dirtiness" but they are the only ones who weren't hypocrites about it.
The King of second motions lol!
i wonder how the players of today would play Bill??? i bet all of em even lebron would cry .
I'd love to see a bunch of Physical brutes, underpaid and hungry come into the league with these entitled skinny little 3 pt chuckers , all thinking theyre thr same guy stephy curry ,with the physical defense rules put back in. Clogging the paint, making it a physical game again. Retro night
All them fight Bill started in little Isaiah always jumped in for him😂
Laimbeer (and that entire team) had ZERO F’s to give…before it was “cool” 🤣
Hahah the bad boys are a legendary team
Love ole days of nba. ❤💙💛💚💜👌👌👌👌👍👍👍
This is what the NBA is missing today
There is no way, today's NBA would have survived this man......and the league in general....
Actually it's the opposite Laimbeer would not survive todays league because of his antics... He'll be fined and suspended all the time that what he's earning are just going to penalties lmao
This had to be done! As much as those of us outside of Detroit and Notre Dame hated the bullying manipulation tough guy antics of Bill Laimbeer, he knew what he was doing and was intelligent with what he did having a high basketball IQ that made up for his lack of athleticism and talent levels many others had moreso than Laimbeer. I’m surprised a documentary named “Dirty” hasn’t been made in the last couple of decades with Laimbeer as the poster child on cover!
@Robert Spence he’s a WNBA coach at last check
He would've died for his team.
Which every way you cut it, I love this guy Lol
Laimbeer holds the NBA record for the most fights with Hall of Famers
All the NBA players, both foes, friends and enemy, probably would unite for one to beat up Bill Laimbeer. That's how the all players not on his team hated Bill.
Yes. No doubt he was a team player, was ALL in for his guys. The OTHER guys?? Mmm...not so much lol.
Here is a picture of Bill, as a kid (very tall kid) in eighth grade or freshman year of high school in a BASEBALL UNIFORM. th-cam.com/video/wGkd6K9slUQ/w-d-xo.html My dad is on the far left, and I believe he was 6"2", and I am the little kid right below Bill in the photo. He lead our High School Team to a CIF Four A championship in Southern CA. Upsetting highly favored Verbum Dei in the semi finals. Verbum Dei had David Greenwood, who was drafted by the Bulls at number two behind Magic Johnson. Greenwood played as a reserve on the 1990 Pistons team.
Very neat!. Thanks for posting that.
All the NBA liked Laimbeer, until his team started winning meaningful post season games.
