I own a 2020 Mustang 5.0 and a 2017 Prius. I drive the Prius on the weekdays because my commute is 50 miles a day and I charge it every day so I spend virtually nothing on gas, only about $2 per weekday in electricity. It’s going to last me a few hundred thousand miles I hope. I drive the 5.0 basically anywhere other than work, it’s my “fun” car. We should frack more so I can drive my 5.0 more without breaking the bank. $4.50/gallon for premium is rough when you only get 16 MPG.

Greenhouses that use CO2 have much better yields. Hence, it's a proof that plants will flourish, grow faster, bigger, and yield higher in case of higher concentration of CO2. And let's consider that CO2 is 0.04% of the atmosphere which is 4 particles in 10,000. How on earth have they managed to link climate change to this trace gas? That is an accomplishment.
Yes, all commercial greenhouses add CO2 to achieve levels of 1,000-1,200 ppm.

As a lifelong Louisianian, I can confirm that the storms have not been more intense at all. If nothing they have been pretty tame compared to Andrew or Katrina. Getting help to get things rebuilt and running again has always been the biggest issue.
Katrina was engineered and the purpose was to depopulate the area, make it unlivable for poor people so that the rich can buy up the land, which is exactly what happened.

I remember as a child I was terrified that we were getting ready for the next "ice age." My dad wisely sat me down and rationally explained to me why this was not going to happen. In my life there have been natural dissaster predictions with multiple "we're going to die" per decade of my life. EVERY single prediction was WRONG! Not one single prediction had ever proven true.
I remember as a child in the 1970s that one article in Time magazine claimed particulates were cooling the Earth faster than CO2 was warming it. But since I went to a good school we were also taught that CO2 would overtake particulates and the earth would warm.
In my lifetime there have been many predictions regarding decadal warming, and all of them have been proven correct. Predictions of sea level rise, all correct. All the while we watch the science alliterates claim "they all said 'we gonna die'" and we can just sit back and laugh at them.
Every single prediction has been correct, but try telling the least educated Americans.

CO2 is a trace gas comprising about .045% of the earth's atmosphere. Of the annual grand carbon cycle (global CO2 emissions minus earth's absorption of it) man's contribution is less than 5%.

Because he had chemo and after a few hours of that, you're wiped out for a day or two. I think he missed 1 day in Congress. That sounds like the same argument my kids always made to me when I told them to make their beds... They always said "why, it's just gonna get messed up again tonight when I go to bed.... Just because there is something that is a naturally accuring event for which we can do nothing about happens doesn't mean we shouldn't try to curb or eliminate what we can do something about... Plus, having more options creates completion which keeps prices down... I don't think fossil fuel things need to go away completely but I do think we should have alternatives... I don't want ANY industry to have the kind of control that the big oil companies have had on our lives. How does everyone not see this!

I'm all for getting off of fossil fuels but, that should happen AFTER a viable replacement is found. Congress should be pushing for that viable replacement instead of the end of fossil fuels.
There's not a damn thing wrong with fossil fuels. This climate agenda BS has been pushed since before I was even alive. They told my parents they were going to die from acid rain They told my generation the rainforest would be gone and all the polar bears would be dead, etc. It's always been utter bs and a giant money laundering scheme on the backs of taxpayers. I thought that's exactly where the money was going as they explained. They clarified that it was being spent to invest in alternative energy solutions, no? Now, there are certain environmental acts that would make it harder on fossil fuels but I'm not sure if it's any significant percentage of the bill or at all from what they're discussing?
Tell the other countries in the world to do it first, then we will do. Fuck waiting for the U.S. to come up with a solution. We aren’t the ONLY ones contributing to “climate change.”

CO2 as a "greenhouse gas" is in fact ridiculously low compared to water vapor as a greenhouse gas. The effect of CO2, a fertilizer for all plant life, is nil, compared to water vapor.
Yes, the GHG effect due to H2O vapor alone is 60-85%, depending on your politics.
The thing that makes me mad is the fact that nobody talks about how far they’ve come with fuel. Fuel burns a lot cleaner now. Gas and diesel. Cars these days get far better fuel mileage Than they did twenty years ago.They act like it’s 1975 and we’re all riding around in full size broncos.Also according too triple A we drive millions of miles less each year. China,Russia,India and others pollute on a level that can’t even approach. Besides,the government lets eight million illegals walk into the country whats that going too do to the carbon footprint,everyone of them is going too want a car as well.
