Hey Chuck I think I'm hillbilly a shade tree mechanic and a Red neck lol. Not sure which. Dad taught me how to fix things with not much money. I think I have told you he grew up in the depression. But it is nice to see younger guys like you figuring a way to fix it on the cheap. Very inventive!! Some day what you do and figure out will come in handy for you or Christopher. He's a lucky boy to have you for a dad.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 Thanks Chuck for the reply. You should be proud of yourself for your redneck fixes seriously. Most people nowadays can't fix anything. If it don't work throw it in the garage. Not sure if your Dad is here or not but I'm sure he is very proud of you either way.
Yo chuck that's an awesome fix you went all Steven Hawkins again 🤣🤣🤣 but it's so cool .. like I said before everybody needs a Chuck. 👍👍👍❤️ Also I had a flash back after watching some America crime TV shows . When the guy stopped to give you a hand cause you had a flat tyre.. but that's also a lure to get a victim 🤣🤣OH I've broke down and need help. Then it be all goes tits up . 😂🤣😂 Then the helpers become the victim's of some mad serial killer.. 🤣🤣🤣if I was in America I wouldn't stop for no man or beast.. 🤣🤣🤣 not even if an old grandmother was lying at the side of the road..then you would definitely know it was a set up.. the hills have eyes . 🤣🤣🤣 Lots of love to you and your family.. oh yeh the video editing is getting better bro, I think Chris should go to film school.. he's got the talent .. 👍👍👍 J x
Thank you Johnny.😃👍 I have picked up several people that needed help and I have had people pick me up and saved my butt from a very long walk in the winter time. 🥶❄️🌬️
Good video chuck I know I am boring but would like to see you strip it down as I going to put a new spring in my remington express and trust your ways as I not done this before thank you alan
@@KathleenBeckinsale-qp1vo Truthfully, I recommend searching for information on your Remington Express. I think the platform might be Crosman or Xisico XS19, but I'm not totally sure. For sure, get or make a spring compressor, get some punches and other tools for your project. Wish I could be more helpful.
@@vashmatrix5769 The only way that one will have problems is from the factory or if someone adds oil or extra grease to the compression chamber. The Gamo is a throw away gun by design, with plastic being used as a barrel block and wedge detent.
Yes, I lube the spring, guide and shim with synthetic high temp red grease. Not too much, but enough that it is covered. I use molly on the piston. I hope that helps.😃👍

Hey Chuck, do you add any lube to the spring, when you add the plastic sleeve? If so, what kind, and how much?
