I love it so much, I can see the effort you put into the making of this video. Love how you explain everything, and how you as an artist simplify and stylize everything. Your art always has this happy and comforting vibe in it which is what I love the most about it :)
I never considered markers as an art form until i discovered your art! You take everything to the next level…..amazing.i bought the Mossery box and am having so much fun with it! Did i hear you mention “book”?
haha yes, I have a Kickstarter campaign for my new art book, there will be line art printed on coated paper available as an add-on. You'll find the link in the description box :)
This is probably the most helpful video on acrylic markers I've seen! And a lot of what you talked about doesn't only apply for acrylic markers; I love how to talk through your thinking process for composition and color selection. It's really eye opening to me to see how you don't have to color match everything from the photos, instead you take ques from nature-- such as identifying warmer or cooler tones in certain areas, and how that affects the feel of the composition-- and use that as a guide to pick your own colors. Really inspiring! Best of luck with your book campaign!
It's incredible how much effort you put into this video! I love how you draw the sketches next to the references and how the illustrations turned out 🌿
Thanks for details illustration process sharing, Angela 💓 I love to get inspiration from life and travel too. Therefore, I really enjoy watching this video. Love your interpretation of reference photos.
i really admire and love the fact that you have a brilliant mind because all you gotta do is to have a subject then in just one look you already know how its going to be and how you will make it so majestic, its like having a super power because its really hard. thank you for this wonderful tutorial i really enjoyed it start to end!
Thank you for your kind words Ana! It does take lot of practice, in the beginning, I also struggled with translating reality into my own style, but as I do more I become more familiar with the design language that I like :)
Watching your videos is just so calming and it’s such a lovely process to sit back and observe. I love the way you select colours that may not exactly match the reference yet still come together really nicely!
This is a good art niche to make tutorials for as nor many people are showing how to use paint markers. I have a cheaper end set myself but I rarely use them since the color range is limited but I realize now that is just a challenge go explore a new way of capturing value.
I've just started using acrylic pens. I find it difficult to simplify scenes and use different colours to those in photos/ real life. Love all your videos and art. Your colour composition is impeccable 👌 looking forward to this video 📹 😀
I've been using POSCA markers for a little while now, and my style is a lot different from yours but it was cool seeing how you use them for your work. Beautiful landscapes! I'm going to look at more of your art now :)
I have Molotows and Poscas and I love using them for mixed media work, but I've never thought of using them on their own like this. And as for blending with them - my mind is blown, ha ha! Your illustration style is beautiful and your videos are so calm and informative. I'm so glad I found you yesterday! You have a new subscriber. :)
Hi Natasha! So happy to hear that you find my videos calming and informative 😊 yeh I really love using these acrylics markers on their own, probably my favourite art medium to draw with right now!
Yeh I have both :) Sahara beige is much more muted than Straw yellow, one is closer to beige, one is closer to yellow. I love using both, but recently I've been drawn to straw yellow more!
Hi Angela….I am trying to order the 14 pt paper from the site that you order from….i guess it is out of stock. They have an 18pt coated paper….is this OK to use……?
Hi Lynn, yeh apparently the 14 pt paper won't be back in stock until middle of October. 18pt or 16pt should be the same, just thicker :) Oh by the way, Mossery now offers a paint marker sketchbook with coated paper
@@AngelaPanArt WOW! OK…..Thank you so much! I also just discovered that Arteza …..i dont know too much about them…….has a coated marker paper….you can get it on Amazon…going to try it out! Thank you!
