Hi Polina! Thanks for sharing this video demonstrating your process with acrylic markers! I really enjoyed watching how you select your colors and blend shades to create lighter and darker areas. The little witch illustration was especially charming!
Hi Andrea! Awww thank you, iso nice to hear you enjoyed it! It was a fun little project to make this review video ^-^ It also felt strange because I would always prefer watercolours to thicker paint, but I loved the pasty texture of the markers so much.. I didn't think I'd be so positive about them haha
Just found you and watched you paint with these markers. I love the way you drew the vegetables and fruit alongside your witch, they look like an oil still life. You use these markers beautifully.
These acrylic markers are soooo beautiful! 😍💛 I didn't know this type, it looks like real paint, with texture, I really like it! Made me want to use them too 🥺 I loved the little guy you drew, super cute. ❤ I really liked the result, the little witch and the pumpkins too, they were very beautiful! And congratulations on the edition, very good as always ^^ the light was excellent, you can see all the textures of the paper and the vibrant colors of the inks. Very good job!!! ☺
Thanks for your feedback, Adriana! I'm glad you like it 🥰 I also didn't know such markers excited before this year! The edits.. I did the best I could haha I even thought editing the colours was a kind of meditative.
They are super pretty. I usually draw with Posca Pens or Artistro Makers, which have bullet points and no brush pen. It looks like these ones are a lot of fun. Have you tried the Simptap ones as well? For details, I recommend the Artistro Extra Fine Tip Pens. And yes, there is special paper, but it's definitely a preference. I like using smooth Bristol paper :) The pumpkin looks so great, I love the way you shaded your drawing.
Thanks for the recommendations!💛 I'm a noob in a marker world, these were the first unusual markers I tried (before only had alcohol markers) and yes, they're pretty fun to work with. I'd be curious to try Simptap too, I didn't hear about them before! :D
Awesome art work! Could you please also share with us what crayons or oil pastels you used on top of the marker? This technique was so satisfying to watch!
The opaqueness is so satisfying 🤩💓
