Freakin' Reviews Right on point again for my fam! My daughter wants a new fryer. She made her ex take his old nasty one lol. I have wanted to find out about these so...
Is this the "famous new one" everybody has been raving about? Price sounds the same but I THINK that one is supposed to be a slow cooker/pressure cooker and ladeeda too so Idk.😯Btw I'm glad you too use BBB! Except for the crazy bedding and really "classy high end" stuff I love that place. The coupons work on alot of stuff AND it doesn't matter if they expire or how many you use. At least at our store. Anyway thanks for ANOTHER helpful review!🍟🍤🍗☺

I bought this air fryer Sept 2023 and started using it right away, with trepidation at first, having never owned one before th-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB . But I started trying the different settings and yes, I burned a few things at first until I got the hang of it, and have loved using it ever since I got it. For a single person, cooking smaller-scale meals is great while avoiding heating up a whole oven. The only downside to this air fryer is that the buttons are finicky since they're touch-based and the sensors are weird. I'd buy this thing again if I needed to, but at this point (if I don't jinx myself) I won't have to for a while to come.

I have been using the air fryer for about 5 years. Have learned a few tricks. For fried chicken there are a few things you can do. One, when you put your flour on the chicken, it has to be a real light coat, not heavy as if you are frying. A lighter coat allows all the flour to cook. Also, when using flower, lower the temperature about 20 degrees and cook longer, again gives the flour time to cook. Second, after coating with flour, use an oil like "Pam" to spray a light coating on the chicken, helps for browning. And last, coat your chicken with Paprika. A light coating doesn't add much for flavor, but will give your crust a nice brown color.

Let the chicken sit for 30 minutes after you batter them. This gives the dry ingredients time to soak in and you get a much better breading... and no powder.

Some people say to put the chicken in the refrigerator for 30 minutes after breading it and it helps to keep the breading on the chicken. I'm getting ready to try this on some chicken thighs. Great video, can't wait to watch your next video. God bless you.

I just upgraded from the basket style air fryer and I love it. Have used it almost every day the past week. Frozen french fries, mozz sticks, wings, steak, Rotisserie chicken, shrimp, dehydrated strawberries. Everything came out great. Didn't have to do batches like the other one. I used a pliers to grab the racks to pull them out without burning my hands. Then hubby made me a tool to pull out the racks (you can also use the rotisseri grabber tool to pull out the racks). I found it very easy to clean, dishwasher worked fine on racks and drip tray. Yes racks closer to top (heat source} will cook faster. My fries cooked in 10 min, brown and crispy, did them on tray, didn't flip, must depend on the brand you use.

I've been making croissants from the refrigerated dough, they're amazing! 340 degrees for 9 minutes with the rack in the center. I only do one rack at a time so they come out perfect. It's really fast and good compared to a regular oven.

    Use a glove 🧤
The easy way to clean is to put them in your sink, sprinkle on Baking Soda, then spray on White Vinegar. It’ll fizz. Wait 5 mins at least, and you’ll pretty much be able to rinse off, or lightly wipe clean. Works for outside grills, overhead stove filters, or anything really. But it’ll lift grease so fast! I’m curious how it’ll work on the copper items you’ve reviewed though. Hope that helps.
Thanks for your review on this unit, I’ve been curious.

If the racks every hard to clean put a fabric softener sheet on top of it and let it soak in water. It works on pans also. One more thing you may have to put olive oil spray, coconut spray or Pam on the flour chicken. That helps the flour disappear from the chicken.

I also have a big over that's with my stove . I only use that for Christmas baking. The toaster oven is still working but we think the airfryer oven will be easy-to-use and clean. We got a basket air frier a while back and loved it. It's great when you just want to cook a handful of Mozzarella Cheese Sticks but don't want to use a full-sized oven. We later got a second one that has a basket and rotisserie built in. Plus, we just take the baskets out and let them soak overnight for easy cleaning.

Clean up can be a pain, but if you soak them and clean up right away, it helps. If you read your manual, you would see you pull the front door out to clean it. I've been using mine for over 5 years, and it has become my most used appliance. I have even made a few cakes in this.

I currently have an Air fryer.. And Soon Im getting this one TOTALLY impressed plus the amount of interior space. And the cook books.. Love it. BTW Love my Air fryer. best Grilled Cheese sandwich ever.. (does require one flip) It also restarts Sweet and sour chicken (the chicken itself) and reduces the oil so they are better the second time. (tip to get your rice be it refried or white rice. wet a paper towel place in the bottom of a bowl then fill with your rice then place another wet paper towel on the top and cook for 4-6 minutes (re steamed but the bottom towel is necessary or the rice gets rubbery)

Bought one of these from JC Penney (they only had 3 left so I was so hopeful). Used it the 1st day was wonderful. Went to use it the 2nd day and it wouldn't turn on. Checked everything, went thru all troubleshooting still wouldn't work. Took it back & exchanged for another 1. Needless to say went back & exchanged till JC Penney had none. Kept having the same problem would use it once making sure it had plenty of space, on it's own circuit, etc. Went with the Emeril and have had no issues at all 6 months later using almost everyday. Yes, it does smoke because of the heating rods on the bottom keep getting dripped on. I will admit I really miss this units rotisserie spits. Wonderful review I wish mine had worked as well as yours. And yes that glass burned my hand repeatedly. Same with the Emeril.

I've been using my Power Air Fryer Cooker daily for about 4 years and am very pleased. My only real criticisms are the wire racks are a nuisance to wash and the drip tray is far too shallow. The tray can tend to fill up & overflow when cooking fatty meat like Belly Pork or Breast of Lamb for example but I found that putting a thick slice of bread on the drip tray absorbs a vast amount of fats & juices etc. Another good thing is that the fatty bread slices are great to feed wild birds, especially in the winter months when food is scarce and covered in snow.

  • @mariesmith599

I keep the bottom tray that catches grease covered with reynolds wrap less cleaning. The racks I coat with coconut oil spray. After seasoning your chicken lightly spray with the coconut oil spray. Start cooking your chicken. About every 12 to 15 minutes I bring the chicken out turn them and lightly coat again with the spray. This helps disolve your flour and helps crisp your chicken. Hope this helps you and other viewers to not have to clean so much.

From the makers of the easy bake oven now comes the air frying oven instead of that out of date light bulb we took the wires from a toaster and added a door this is state of the art technology that is patented and does exactly the same thing your oven does but with the fancy air in the name it amazes me what people will waste their money on

I bought the air fryer oven today and made frozen fries in the basket for my son. He loved it. Then I made fried chicken wings for dinner and it was delicious. I rotated my trays but I also turned the chicken over. I basted the bottom rack wings with BBQ sauce. Delicious. I used my own batter mix, first soaking the wings in vinegar for about 20 mins.then using my flour and seasoning mixture. After dinner even my husband agreed that the wings were crunchy and done and we promptly threw out our trusted deep fryer.

I totally agree and what a mess to clean that thing up afterwards...and I don't like it that you have to keep pulling out the racks and changing them around...it definitely is not something I would waste my money on. I have a good microwave, toaster oven and my regular stove and oven...that is more than I really need...I don't use the microwave except sometimes to heat leftovers...or to melt butter or thaw something. Yes, my "fried chicken comes out with no oil or grease on it and it is nice and crispy too...looks so much better than this does...this doesn't look appetizing at all.

Thanks for the review. I was considering buying the oven but after seeing how little it holds and the clean up involved I think I'll stick to my nu wave oven. It takes longer but I can cook a whole frozen chicken in 90 minutes. It does an excellent job of sausages and pretty much anything you cook in an oven. Unless you plan on only dehydrating a small amount a large dehydrator, mine holds nine large trays, is the only way to go. My garden produces lots of vegetables and fruit and I also make trays of jerky in it. My favorite is dried figs or strawberries. Slice, dip in sugar water, dehydrate. Keeps for months on the shelf.

Thanks for the review. I've been dealing with air fryers since the late 1990's. Jet Stream Oven. My friend was sold on the fact that "you don't have to turn it over". I was telling her that that is hard to believe with the source of heat coming from the top. When the first air fryers with the pull out tray...I said that they were too small AND too close. Then when the 3+ quarts came out, I started noticing more. The reason I liked the Jet stream oven was that you can stack it to make it higher. Then the Flavorwave, NuWave, etc., came out with an extender ring.
Getting back to your review...especially, the fried chicken, I got similar results with the previous air ovens when using flour type coating. Had the 'best' result when using breaded or crumb based coating. (Panko, Shake n Bake, grounded seeds, etc.). If it was a 'juicy' or slightly undercooked piece from a take-out then ....then the left over was great.
I also told my friend that when Air Fryers first came out....they advertised dehydration; but as you said it'll take hours
Your next project with fried chicken, would you try one rack in the middle or bottom? Also, put an oven temperature gauge in it and 'see' if you actually get close to 400°. Closest I got was 375° with and 1800 watt unit and dedicated 20 amp circuit.
Again, thanks for you review, will look for other's in the future.

I just got one a Power Airfryer Over Elite (August 2018) and my door is hinged on the left hand side, rather than at the bottom like this model. The glass of the door slides out for easy cleaning in the dishwasher. I have a regular Power Airfryer XL and it seems to cook much faster than this oven. I really bought it for the rotisserie so I could make my own organic whole chickens and it worked really well. I'm trying the kale chips now. It's gonna take some playing with to figure out how to time things since it seems to cook more slowly than the oven. I'm going to try to rotisserie a roast next. Thanks for the review!

Hi, I just found your channel today; I am thrilled! My husband got me this oven as a Christmas present and I am having to relearn cooking especially baking! (I am 72 years young and used to cooking over a fire! lol) just kidding! I am not thrilled with the thing you are to use to get the racks out. 1/2 the time I find myself dropping the shelf usually on the oven door or counter top. I am not sure how they could make it better. I am finding my attempts the same as you are showing that for crispy results like fried chicken is the top rack does crisp better. My results so far have been positive just be patient and know that you are on a learning curve. Today I will be doing rock cornish hens in my power oven.

The rotisserie chicken breast turned out great, although I did have one piece that kept hitting the bottom of the tray and knocked it off track a few times. I made something simple, a bologna and cheese sandwich, which turned out decent. I'll try a hamburger next. Then the big test, a fried leg quarter.

I have been using the NuWave oven for five yrs (Those are built bad cuz plastic dome always cracks no matter what) and like the whole Table top air convection method (aka Air Frying). This design looks really great (the layers) rather than those drawer air fryers I see. So after seeing your Vids 1 and 2, I'm sold. Thanx for your reviews. I subscribed after your 2nd one but I cant wait to see your other reviews on other products! Youre Awesome!

I have the same oven. the first time I did a whole rotisserie chicken, I got a 6 lb.chicken based on my family size. i got this great roast chicken seasoning recipe from my cousin. I buttered the breast under the skin, rubbed this great seasoning all over the chicken. Put a small lemon and small orange in the cavity. Tied the legs together and assembled it on the rotisserie. Turned it on, it started rotating and dragging on the bottom drip pan. My chicken was too large.. so I tried to adjust it so it would not drag as bad. All in all when it was finished cooking the seasoning was rubbed off on that one side. It smelled good and was absolutely delicious. So now I make sure my bird is not too much over 4 lbs. When air frying i always sprayed the racks with non-stick spray and also sprayed the chicken. It turned out beautiful from the start. But i'm sure you know this by now.

That's a pretty nice machine, I think if you used less racks on the chicken would of come out better and these companies never tell you that the more moisture content in the fruit or vegetable takes a lot longer than they say to dehydrate could take up to 24 hrs to completely dehydrate tomatoes , but look forward to see what else you make on that , would like to see how it makes a whole chicken in the rotisserie

There should be more space between the chicken or other larger pieces of food so the air can circulate more between them. Maybe larger pieces on top also.

Loved it at first but chucked it to the trash the other day. It’s great if you’re cooking using only one rack. But when you use all three, you have to constantly switch the racks around. Plus it’s a pain to clean when anything breaded is used because it all land I. The door jam and the racks get sticky no matter how much dawn you use.

I own this and it is unbelievable. A 5 lb. rib roast on the rotisserie and you get a nice crisp crust on the outside and tender juiciness on the inside. The same for a 4-5 lb. pork loin. I love to cook for my family using the Air Fryer oven. Meals are always delicious. To make cleaning easy, soak the racks and rotisserie parts in water and they clean very easily. If you don't have one, buy one! This is coming from a man who can't cook.

I watch lots of cooking videos and they all spritz it lightly first, before placing in oven. You can also spritz your food later in the cooking process, if it isn’t cooking even, like the spice powder clump he noticed near the end of video on his chicken. Try the “Cooking with Doug” channel and others here on TH-cam that have recipes for the various air fryers He has a link to the oil sprayer as well most likely beneath his video. i love my power airfryer oven. Best Air Fryer ive ever had and i love the space it has compared to most. Also there is a tray handle that came with the air fryer your supposed to pul the trays out with. And i found putting the battered chicken in the rotisserie wheel works better than putting them on layers in the tray. Best cleanup, unplug the fryer and spray soapy water inside and let sit for 5-10 min then wipe and clean. Soak trays in hot soapy water then scrub

IndyDuane Just cook them in the oven in a pan lined with parchment paper. Stir them one time halfway through the baking time. They come out super-crispy & don't use any added oil.

@@pastorofmuppets325 Yup! My husband wants to get one of these. I knew there would be a review here and I'm so glad I looked! My convention oven already does all of this now, why buy another gadget to take up space on my counter?

We like it because, here in the South, it get so hot, using the oven is out of the ? for summer months. If it's' not cooked in skillet, crock pot or the grill, we don't get it. House was built in 1880. They had no clue, what insulation was, back then. lol@@donnalynn2
