I am currently running through the game again on hard mode and making a save before every remotely notable combat encounter, in order, so I can just play about knocking these bosses around. Videos like these are downright inspiring.
It's the beginning of her animation for the somersault limit break. It's just the tank buster animation takes priority so it lends a new angle to her move. Quite cool.
Thanks man. Generally for these runs it simply isn't worth it, true strike mixed with rotating skill master with all Tifa's other toolkit just outperforms it. Especially as I like to play with shortcuts only where possible and it's a bit of a wasted bind to use on Unbridled Strength 👍

Maybe have the attack consume chi charges to gain more power. Some sort of counterattack skill would be amazing on her too, but at that point she'd make Cloud pointless haha. Videos like this make me brainstorm what crazy new abilities they'll add in Part 2 and how it'll change the top level meta.

For example, Spell Blade for Cloud, which enchant his sword and add additional magical blades to his other abilities for a short time that deal magic damage and take on the element of his current weapon, similar to FF on Aerith, but different properties perhaps. He was originally a Mystic knight after all in the first drafts. Or maybe Sentinel Link for Barret, which passes his defense stat, Steelskin status, Barrier, or any other defensive buffs he has to nearby allies as well, tanking up the party to help his tank role. Chakra Bullet for Tifa, a magic attack that fires a projectile that consumes chi charges and does big damage at level 3. Or Aura Ward for Aerith that costs 2 ATB and doesn't last long but slowly fills Limit Gauges while standing in it. Those were just a few ideas I had, based on character roles, shortcomings in their kit, homages to other FF games, etc. I'm excited to see what they implement!

how to make tifa keep spamming "focused strike" like you did? is it ATB BOOST materia? i noticed that after she used focused strike/any abilities, her ATB is fulL again.
Focused strike refunds almost a full standard bar of atb by default, but with refocus active your atb is partitioned and focused strike refills more as a result. I also try to cycle skill master to gain atb. Hope this helps 👍
That's a difficult one to answer specifically because the setup changes per boss. But as a rule, metal knuckles are the best weapon overall and I use gotterdammerung accessory in this video for refocus and more ATB. Use elemental + enemy weakness, such as fire, then materia like first strike, Skill Master, ATB Stagger and 2x magic up are usually standard. The rest is variable depending on the boss. Mythril Knuckles are useful for magic heavy fights also. This is the case for all solo character videos in fact. Hope this helps 👍

They made Tifa a god send in the remake.. in the OG she was one of the worst characters but in this.. oh my dayz she's next level Queen 😂💯
