The mechanical and monster design in this game were crazily awesome. I wish Konami could've done the same with their future Contra games (Neo Contra was great too, but the Stage where players running on a helicopter's rotor was outright funny and hilarious).

이 게임이 2002년 작인데 원로원들이 하는 짓을 보면 강철의 연금술사에 나오는 플라스크속의 난쟁이가 생각납니다. 신에 준한 힘을 먹다가 오히려 파멸한게 비슷합니다. 그리고 강철의 연금술사 음악은 코나미 게임에 들어왔습니다. 구강철 신강철 둘 다 말이죠. 그러니까 이 세상에 신은 없어도... "하지만... 악마라면 있다. 그것은 코나미야!" 내가 어떻게 수영복 스페셜 위크와 마루젠스키를 얻었는데! 회장이라는 놈이 우마무스메 먹다가 진리속으로 영원히 빨려들어갔으면 좋겠습니다.

I miss playing this game, so well made. Such a shame Contra is so underrated. One of the best franchises in history in my book!
