For some reason, superhero writers believe that the sadder the story, the better the character development. Examples include; Killing Gamora, Oliver Queens entire story arc (the cw), and putting Iris and Barry into legit 4 different relationships before putting them together to just threaten to kill Iris.

It's hard to type through my own tears. I just wish they'd stayed together. All I can hope for now, is for Kara to find someone new to love, for Alex to find someone who shares all the same dreams she has, for light to always shine through the dark, and for everyone to have their happy endings. I don't know how I've gotten so emotionally attached to a TV show, but I have. And when someone who doesn't deserve heartbreak or pain has to feel it, I feel it too. I hope they can all be happy once more. This has taken me 30 minutes to write because of my sobbing. Sometimes I wonder why I get so upset about this. After all, it is just a show. But I realized that it's because I can see my own life in it. All my pain, all my fears. It's all there, and I see it in the darkest and most heartbreaking parts of this show. And in the happiest parts, I see all of the amazing things about life. I've found that there is light in the dark. I don't know how nor why, but this has become more than a show to me. It helps me through the roughest parts of my life (Along with my kitten.) I know that love will find a way to win. No matter what. In real life and the show. i haven’t cried over a characters relationship ever,but oh my goodness how I fell in love with karas and mom el’s relationship and friendship..he wanted to change for her,he did lie to her but he felt really bad about it and he was afraid she would scream at him and he was HILARIOUS ... I cried at the fact that he left.. and even after 7 years he still kept the necklace...and when he went to the future and barely got there all he could talk about was getting back to kara and didn’t even look at a woman until he realized he wouldn’t ever come back. She brought out the good in him , while he brought out the fact that it didn’t have to all be about supergirl and she could have a life for herself. I really hope they get their happy ending in season 5.. I can’t take the fact that they aren’t together:( just a boy from daxam and a girl from krypton

It's hard to type through my own tears. I just wish they'd stayed together. All I can hope for now, is for Kara to find someone new to love, for Alex to find someone who shares all the same dreams she has, for light to always shine through the dark, and for everyone to have their happy endings. It helps me through the roughest parts of my life (Along with my kitten.) I know that love will find a way to win. No matter what. In real life and the show.
