- The greatest 2 weeks of the year, the Isle Of Man TT fortnight is the biggest event on the road racing calendar.
Contested on the Isle Of Man, racers compete against the clock, themselves and the course to earn a chance of gaining glory.

F1 : Monaco closes its streets for a week.
TT : Let's do this on the whole island ! 💪
It shows how much the tt means for the island
the prize pools are kept low on purpose, so that no biker will be pressured to risk this track for the sake of money
Thats actually kinda cool
Mf why would they want racers to die @gimson1981
True because if they offered £1,000,000 to P1, there would be so many more deaths
Yep it's not about the ££££ it's about it .... The race the track conquer the mountain very few have .
So they go on the most dangerous race on earth, where every year someone dies. Then this organization convinced these people to roll the dice on their lives,( someone will die) and convinced them that it isn't about the money?
What more risk is there, sitting on top of an engine going 150mph and having the corners padded with trees and cottages?
This is a wild statement and the fact that so many people agree with this is maddening.
When Achille's helper said, "I'd be afraid to fight a man like that," Achilles replied, "That's why no one will remember your name." The Isle of Man TT is the same. The absolute best of the best come here. They know full-well the dangers. They get on their bikes and race regardless of the danger. They have achieved a greatness that few will ever know. Im in awe every time I watch these guys race here at ungodly speeds.
I drop a tear each time I watch a Isle Of Man TT content, because it's a beautiful insanity!! It is just too much bravery, madness, genuine Elite racer. Beyond anything else, not comparable to anything!! My mind can't say other things than Awesomeness!!
Eh, being reckless doesn't make them better.
@@Edheldui and that's why nobody knows your name.

Quality is outstanding, did not expect this to have as little views as it does. Great vid
Thank you, glad you liked it!
Give it a chance, video only been up for 5 days.
Thought the same thing
50000 views later
I was impressed with this presentation as well. Had me attention for all 18min.
Seen a few videos covering the tt and they normally get a few facts somewhat twisted, but this man has clearly done his homework. As a local on the IOM this was a pleasant surprise and was shocked when I seen he had so few subscribers, big up
Glad you liked it!
As a huge TT fan, this was superb. Those subscriber numbers need to increase at a rate of 136mph :)
They have been, my phones been pinging in the back room of work all day, glad you enjoyed it!
Peter Hickman was on pace to break 136mph record in the Senior TT before his crash. Hopefully 2025 yields more broken records
@PhonkEcho I'm honestly just glad he was OK, it could have been so much worse given the pace he was setting with the fastest standing start lap under him
Excellent one to pass on to my US biker friends. I'm returning to spectate at the TT myself in a couple of weeks for the first time since '89. A very nice summary of what it's all about. Thank you.
So jealous of you! One day I'll be in the position to have the funds and the time off work to go!
I was going say your TH-cam but then I seen your subs. So I'm subscribing hope you get there. I grew up beside the Skerries 100's. Micheal Dunlop is the goat. I met joey as a kid what man
I have been watching for years online. I wish I could come.
I'm So jealous!
0:55 as a guitarist, motorsport fan, and a video editor this has me kicking my feet and giggling with how hype this is. beautifully done!
Glad you liked it!
Down the rabbit hole on the build up to the TT. Thought I’d exhausted TH-cam but this has made my day, really informative, very professionally done. Probably the most informative and easily viewed TT video you could watch. Well done and thanks 👍🏻
Thank you and I'm glad you liked it!
4:17 is priceless bit of film
When you see how fast they take that bend now its even funnier
This time of year TH-cam does a good job of barfing up plenty of TT media. I generally click way more than the productivity of an adult should allow, but i really dont usually watch them all the way through. And I dont back them up to make sure I heard that bit correctly. And I almost never watch them twice. And whatever is left over from that list might get forwarded to those old pals I rode motos w/ so many years ago.
Great video. Very worth the time. Duly forwarded to those I laughed so much with lifetimes ago.
Glad you enjoyed it
Did not expect this to be such a new channel. Video quality is crazy good and the content is brilliant keep it up 👌
Thank you so much!
I love motorcycles, especially big, heavy old inline 4s. The closest thing I'll get to the TT is playing GTA with speedhacks on a bike lmao. Phenomenal vid mate
Glad you enjoyed it!
Brilliant video. The TT is just so unique and utterly utterly brilliant
Glad you liked it
I just think its amazing this thing exists no matter how dangerous it is. Because every rider there acknowledges the danger and accepts the fact they might not make it home after visiting the island. Truly badass one of a kind event
Absolutely, it's such a one of a kind event
I came here by accident and the video kept me on my toes! This video deserves so much more attention! Great work of Art!
Glad you liked it!
Brilliant video! From someone who lives on the Isle of Man, and aims to race the TT in the next few years, this encapsulates it brilliantly.
One slight edit point, there was one other reason TT has been cancelled. In 2001 the event was cancelled due to a foot and mouth outbreak
A few people have pointed that one out, I knew I had missed something
This is perfect. I'll be watching this again and again and again.
Glad you liked it
One of the best videos about the race, "holy grail of racing". Couldn't have been described better.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Well written and edited mini TT documentary, and you manged to captured the spirit of the TT its not about money or fame its man machine and track its in their blood and in their bones its a calling.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Holy shit, this video was actually incredible and deserves to blow up!
Glad you liked it!
Absolutely fantastic video. Life long TT fan, my 27th visit in less than 3 weeks from now. Counting down the days. Thanks..... brilliant.... just brilliant . I'm buzzing after watching it.
Glad you enjoyed it, wish I was going this year but funds and work said no!
one of the best video essays i have watched in a while, keep it up
Thank you!
I did not expect such a quality from small channel. Amazing work keep it up
Thank you so much!
A fantastic and well made video. However, I do have a slight correction, the TT was also cancelled in 2001 due to the foot and mouth outbreak in the spring of that year.
A few people have pointed this one out, glad you enjoyed the video
18 mins plus of just about the best description of what the TT is all about, very well done sir. One correction you may want to make, it was cancelled one year in the 1980s (can't remember which) to try and prevent Foot and Mouth disease being carried from the mainland and infecting the islands cattle.
I knew I'd forgotten something! It was 2001!
@@iwannatalkabout... Wow, I thought it was longer ago than that!
As far as I'm aware the top recorded speed is 199.7 mph at the end of the sullby straight
@bobelable there was a 202mph at sulby I'm 2023 if I'm not mistaken
Fantastic video! Been a biker for a few years now and love the TT, utter madness with insane levels or bravery and skill, looking forward to this years one. Subbed 👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it!
With the music at the beginning and end, it felt like a TV special.
Thank you for putting together this extremely informative and engaging video. If anyone ever asks me about the Isle of Man, this video is what I’ll show them!
Great work! 🇮🇲🏍️
Thank you so much!
@@iwannatalkabout... what's the title of the music at the beginning ???
@vinzxdimes8235 it's called Temptation Sensation by Heinz Kiessling but is better known as the Always Sunny In Philadelphia theme song
I've watched the Isle of Man TT (on TV/Computer) for 20 years. Always loved watching it and REALLY respected what it takes to race competitively in this race. Regarding your video, I am very impressed! You only have 580 subscribers as I'm watching this, but with the level of videography/editing/sound/narration/story you have done here, it's VERY impressive! Keep up the good work. You now have 581 subscribers!
Thank you for the support!
Damn this was a sick video!!! Glad it caught my eye. I really hope the algorithm picks up on the gem. Leaving this comment to help you boost engagement. Keep it up!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great piece of Coverage to a major element in my Bucket List…
Kudos, in not sugar coating nor embellishing the track’s infamy involving Risk.
Top Job Jim Bob….✨🎤✨
Glad you liked it!
You have put together a fantastic video with great commentary. Well done Sir. Looking foward to watching this years TT.
Glad you liked it!
Great video ❤. Loved the clip the guy going in through door on the bike 😂
Glad you liked it!
please for the love of god dont stop making videos its been very long since i found a proper way to explain the feeling of riding a motorycle keep up the good work
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
The most grand video about motor racing I have ever seen. I kindly suggest a video idea, the 24 hours of Le Mans, the holy grail of endurance racing. Amazing job, keep it up!💯
Wow, thank you!
Well that was unexpected… a very well put together, factual and respectful piece. Well done…

Fantastic summary of the most amazing race on the planet 🔥😎🤘
Glad you enjoyed it!
This channel will be popular fs
Thank you!
This is how you build a youtube channel fast, amazing content right off the bat!
Thank you!
Mate your video quality is off the charts!! Epic video on an epic subject! Had the pleasure of tech-ing for Hickman on some of his BSB weekends, he is a sound lad and you would never imagine he would be so addicted to speed when you meet him!
Glad you liked it, it does seem like the racers are all very down to earth, I've had the pleasure of meeting a handful at events and they were all very genuine
The Isle of Mann TT is insane! Definitely on my bucket list. I watch every video I see on the algorithm.
Glad you liked it!
Fantastic video, should be at the start of every episode of the itv coverage..superb especially for those who don’t know about the classes but love watching it, answered all the questions i had, glad i stumbled on it, thank you!
Thank you so much
Holy S**t, when i saw the amount of subscribers i though this vid would suck but i stand corrected. Dude this vid was super entertaining. I loved it
Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome video! Defiantly one of the best TT breakdowns out there. Kudos sir!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I haven’t even checked out your other vids to see what your “normal” content is…but this one alone deserves the sub, so I guess I will find out. Thanks for the vid man!
Thank you so much!
Spot on video, covered all aspects.
Less than a month to go before I'm back on the rock.
It is the greatest 2 weeks of the year. If the TT doesn't excite you, you are already dead.
Very true, I'm going to be working most of this years event so I'm planning on setting up a little station so I can at least listen to the radio coverage as it happens
Great video. You really showed your passion for the sport, editing and polish are great too just wait till the algorithm picks this up
Glad you enjoyed it!
This clip was awesome. Thank you Sir. I did share on face book and I'm not sure of all the legal thingies but did ask the people to like and all that. I live on the Island now and it will be my second live TT experience. Can't wait.
Glad you liked it
i didnt think a video about a race would make me emotional.. its a dream of mine to ride the tt racing or not, and i cant wait to do it.
Glad you enjoyed it
This got recommended to me on my front page. Very well put together video, and very well delivered for every little bit. Such a gem of a channel
Glad you liked it
Great video! Was cool to see a high quality tribute to the race!
Glad you liked it
This video is comprised, exceptionally from the facts, the figures, the history. Everything is great in this video. I see a passion for bikes there, so keep it up. It’s a lovely video.
Glad you liked it!
awesome vid mate keep it up. watching from melb, aus
Glad you enjoyed it!
This was such an outstanding watch, absolutely loved every second of this video! Here before 1M (I'm calling it)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Y'all watch 'Rush"? Great film, brought me chills... a movie of The Isle of Man or even a Netflix series would be AMAZING!!! Great work on the video by the way man.
There is a documentary film on the TT called "closer to the edge" following guy martin amongst others in the 2010 TT that is a fantastic bit of filmmaking (it was originally released in 3D in cinemas and was brilliant!)
@@iwannatalkabout... Amazing, thank you. Im going to watch that on my day off. Cheers
Thank you thank you and thank you for this post . Awesomeness
Thank you!
Really well put together !! I've been watching the TT for 30 years and really enjoyed that 👊
Thank you!
You' should definitely do more Motorsports videos these are great
I'm glad you enjoyed it, I am planning to do a few more of my favorite iconic races at some time in the future, but have a few more hyperfocus videos have started working on before then!
Sweet video, was always curious about the history of the TT
Glad you liked it!
Like everything that's legendary and amazing, you have to be there to witness and experience it.
I'm hoping to get there in person next year
@@iwannatalkabout... You should. It's worth it!
Please post more these vids are amazing

Yeah alright fair play mate, ABSOLUTELY subscribed. Excited to see what you upload next!
Thanks for the sub!
Great video! Soft spot for Taylor Acorn in the outro btw, great song choice :D
Thanks, I've only just discovered them but I get major Avril Lavigne vibes
Just finished the video. Absolutely excellent 👌👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you!
That intro was a vibe, outstanding video man
Thank you!
Not a bike rider myself however I’d love to get my license, sadly I’m 37 years old now and it’s probably always going to be a pipe dream. Last couple of years I have followed the TT and last year I watched every race of the day later on in the evening. Being a complete novice i was clueless when it came to understanding the differences between the bike types. After watching your video I’m no longer clueless, very informative and enjoyable to watch, thanks.
Glad you liked it, you're never too young to learn a new skill and being on a bike is my therapy (I'm 36 this year), don't forget John McGuiness is 52 and still competing so there's plenty of time to get on it!
You’re not too old to get your bike licence.
I didn’t take mine until I was 46 despite living on the Isle of Man and being a TT fan since I was scared out of my wits by the astonishing noise of Agostini blasting through St Ninian’s at 150mph on the open pipe MV 500.
I’ve since sold my bike to buy a sailing boat, but I did get chance to ride over the one-way mountain rd on my 900 Ninja, hanging on for dear life as the speedo nudged past 150mph along the Mountain Mile! Good times!
Well produced, great video man! Big up
Glad you enjoyed it!
Brilliant vid, thank you. And nice to see the flying Doctor getting a mention 😊👍🏻
Dr Hinds is a legend, there are a few of his presentations uploaded to other channels which are well worth a watch and I recommend all riders watch them along with taking a first aid course. Us bikers are some of the most vulnerable road users so learning some basic mechanism of injury lingo from those videos can help massively if you ever have to relay details to paramedics should you witness, or are involved in, a crash
I've watched everything I can find, and what an amazing chap he was. Not a biker myself but his advice is no less fascinating and like you say, wholly applicable to anyone.
Thanx for the reply, mate and all the best 😊👍🏻
He was a real hero for sure, but he never worked at the TT, only the Irish road races.
The TT doesn’t have riding medics following the pack on the first lap, for the simple reason that the TT is a time trial not a mass start race like the Irish races.
At the TT, there are 8 travelling marshals stationed around the course and if there is an incident, the nearest one will be dispatched to attend the incident to assist marshals on scene and report back to Race Control.
For example they might advise the Clerk of the Course to order the race to be red flagged, if it’s their opinion that the incident cannot be safely dealt with under waved yellow flags.
The travelling marshals are all former TT or MGP competitors.
They are not medical professionals, but they all have advanced first aid training.
Awesome channel man. Gonna be cool to watch this one grow. 👍🤙
Thanks for the support!
The last bastion of danger and choice. Exactly how I see it. Fantastic vid, thank you. I hope the reactioneers pick it up to lift your channel.
Here's hoping!! Glad you enjoyed it

Glad you think so!
This is about the best video about the isle of man tt I've seen

Very well put together. I cant wait til may 28 when I am going))))
So jealous, I couldn't get the funds together to go this year but hopefully 2025 is different for me!
Excellent. Thank you for this content. It was very interesting.

Loved 2 wheels since I could first ride a bike. Got my first motorcycle (Kawi KV-75) when I was in 6th grade, and I've ridden (mostly dirt/dez/MX) ever since. Even did some box stock racing (got the first year GPz550). Raced many forms of dirt/dez. Broken many bones, torn ligaments, turn muscles. I'm 61, and I don't ever see me not having at least one motorcycle (I have 2 now: a KTM EXC 530 and an FJR1300). And, there is 0% chance I'd ever attempt to race this race.
Banger video ! Thankfully for the tt+ app i never miss the event every year now.
Glad you liked it
Excellent video on the TT. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
i do feel lucky to live in Morecambe im just a quick boat ride away from the action i will be going over again this year to watch this amazing race.
Very jealous, I'm stuck watching the highlights on TV again this year
That final 3 minutes had me ready to run through a brick wall
I hope in a hyped way not a frustrated way!
13 days of pure existing and focus. its all any human ever strives for. some through work. through parties/drugs. through games, but we all strive for it, to fully focus our minds and just be in the now.
Absolutely!

Ever since I first heard of the IoM TT in high school, I've wanted to go watch it. Absolutely no progress has been done towards it, but one of these years I'll be able to pull the trigger and go do it.
What a thrill it'd be to drive in it, but god knows I'd be able to kill myself so fast on a bike that fits the race categories on any track let alone the IoM TT lol. But what a joy it is to daydream about it anyway.
I've been dreaming of getting over there for years too, hoping to have the funds and time off to go next year
Excellent video which has got me even more pumped for the TT this year!!!
It's gonna be good, looking forward to seeing how dunlop does
I love this video very good amount of information and facts very well presented couldn’t stop watching, subscribed and can’t wait for you next video keep up the good work (:
Glad you enjoyed it!
14:02 Spinal fusion surgery... my mother needed that procedure after her vertabrae went Jenga. It is no joke. Nearly 9 hours under anesthesia, pain management was difficult, and she is still healing (18 months on) because bones take their sweet time regrowing and configuring to the titanium hardware.
My 2 of my family have had it done too, its a major operation which makes it so impressive that these guys were racing 12 months later
Great video 👏👏been going over since 83 , best place in the world for them 2 weeks , cant wait for this one 🙏
It's got the making of another record breaker again this year!
Great video mate :-) :-)
Glad you liked it
Subscribed excellent quality and only watched a small part
Glad you liked what you saw!
I went to the TT in 2014 - from NZ so a bit of a trip - That was the year our Bruce Antsey set a new lap record of 132.04 - i got so drunk that night and didnt pay for any of it - an irishman being so pleased a kiwi did it and not 'some bloody englishman' - had an amazing time and after 40 or so years of imagining myself there - there I was.
So many people have great TT stories like this one, I really hope I make it over there next year
beautifully done video sir
:D
Glad you liked it!
What a video fair play, you've captured a lot of what it feels like.
Have you ever been/are you going to go?
Its the first time in 5 yrs (bar the pandemic), i'm not going this year. As I've just moved firms.
The thing that always struck me was Guy Martin saying "by lap 6 im bored, im thinking about what im going to do next week at work, what jobs ive got on etc" which is just wild to the average person.
Even for TT riders Guy was a different breed, its a shame he's never made it to a 1st place but that's the TT I suppose. I've not been in person, I work in the retail and hospitality sectors so the end of May Bank Holiday is always a no for the time off for qualifying and race week is usually out of my budget for travel and accommodation, I'm hoping to get there in 2025 (going to book the time off this year!)
@iwannatalkabout... yeah, he seems content with how he did, which, if true, you can't ask for more, really. Especially as he came through from a couple of REALLY big ones, at both the TT and some NI road races. I met him in '08 when he was on his mtb for a training ride for a big race he had coming up.
Yeah, you should definitely go 100%. It's truly mind warping the first time you're ever there. Stand at the bottom of Bray Hill, on the inside (in someone's garden 😂), and just shake you're head at A: how fast they are going, B: how close the track is, C: how 'normal' the road surface is (it really is like going out of your front door onto the street and doing 160+).
Do you ride aswell? I've currently got a GS Adventure & a ZX6R Ninja.
@CJONE764 I do ride, I have a fzs600 as my daily ride and I have a xv535 in bits and a 98 dyna I'm building too
@iwannatalkabout... did you manage to get over to the IOM? I went over for the Saturday for the senior. Went up to the Bungalow and had a great day. Met some great, like-minded folk, great day of racing, and just loved life.
I went as a foot passenger, £85 return from Heysham. I've already booked for next year. I'm going Thurs of practise week to Monday of race week.
Get your deposit paid, and then things will work themselves out. If you constantly think oh I'll do x,y & z first then book you'll never get there.
If you book it now, that way it's done and you will make it work because that's just what happens.
@CJONE764 not this time sadly, I've started saving the money for my deposits for race week 2025 though so hopefully I'll get them paid soon ready for next year
Very well put together!!
Thank you
Great video!
Thanks!
Great upload mate.
