Look like a nice, little town John. And thanks for showing us around. Loved the witch shop and great they could get more people working there. That's windy! At least your hat stayed in place. Hope your daughter loved her gift from you. Loved the skulls you showed in one of the stalls. Have a great Sunday John. Cheers 🦇🖤🖤🖤🖤🦇
Thanks , I like watching videos about where people live , so thought I would do one , yeah its great having a little witch shop nearby , its doing really well. yeah that wind was bad I had already filmed half a video but had to abandon it as the wind was becoming damaging to my video equipment , yeah my daughter loved her little gift, take care my friend I hope you have a nice Sunday 🖤🖤🦇🦇🖤🖤
I love Stalyvegas John! A group of former teachers and myself used to visit a couple of times a year, coming through on the ale trail train. One of them has a season tickets for the football club and sponsors a player. He was born in Stalybridge. It's a wonderful little town, thanks for bringing back some great memories and sharing your beautiful place.
Thanks Phil , it took me a while through life to find somewhere that suits me and feels like home, I often encounter the ale trail crowd when I'm using the train for walking in Saddleworth , nice crowd of people , take care pal 🦇🦇🖤🖤
Its not bad as places go , best place Ive lived but I have lived in some rough inner city areas over the years, I don't miss them 🤣🤣 , best wishes pal 🙂🙂
Sorry to hear about your ears John.....I had the same thing a few years ago....once syringed it was magic ...instant cure! So nostalgic walking with you through Stalybridge....I was quite touched by this video and seeing it once again...made me quite homesick. One of my first jobs...a YTS in a shop was on Melbourne St. The old bus station seems to have given way to the canals....funny as when I lived there older people would say there was the old canals buried below the roads...seems like its gone full circle! Nice to see the market stalls and hear the accents once again....I do miss Northern people...more specifically Mancunians ...I was born in Crumpsall Hospital. Thank you for this treasure of a video....I'm sure future generations will look at this also as a moment in time and thank you also. Best wishes and take care 🌛🌝🌜🖤
Thanks Gilly looking forwards to getting my ears sorted now , The Tesco superstore is now where the baths were and the canal was opened up again , Stalybridge is being regenerated slowly , its going more hipster (or trying to be) and more coffee shops and artisan than the Vegas heydays , just need an outdoors/surplus shop now with so many walks around here. I'm from South Manchester originally did a YTS in 1988 too 😂. Ive lived in many places Greater Manchester over the years but Stalybridge seems to be the sweet spot about 8 years here now. Take care Gilly and I hope you have a lovely week 🖤🖤🦇🦇🖤🖤
Hey, thank you for the tip with the nag champa. Maybe i can find them somewhere. Over twenty years ago i tried to smoke my coachman's coat... it did not worked well...😅
