Apple recently introduced a new app called "Apple Devices" for iOS device syncing/support to replace iTunes for Windows - I haven't tested if this works with Sideloadly yet. If you've tested it, leave a comment.

Fun fact: the iPhone 5C can restore to iOS 10.3.4, but there isn't really any difference between that and 10.3.3.
Was not aware! I believe 10.3.4 fixed a GPS bug - one that I assume didn’t affect the 5c? Would this cause GPS to quit working on the 5c? I imagine you have to take a 10.3.4 iPhone 5 IPSW and modify it.

To elaborate on why it's been so long - honestly, my interest in legacy iOS has just been way down for a while now. It's not gone, it's just lowered. It may come back in the future, we'll see. That's why I've been focusing on vintage tech almost exclusively for the past year - I'm trying to grow that audience here. Regardless, I'd still like to do videos on this topic from time to time. One I'd like to do is an iOS 6 tweaks roundup.
I'm just happy that these tutorials have helped so many people over the past few years :D

Hello. I installed by the tutorial, but socket does not install zebra. Install socket and do it the jailbrake, but zebra doesn't installed. what can I do?
You know you can do this wirelessly, and so every few days, I do 5 as I have signed a special Spotify app to my phone, it resigns it. The only limitation is that you need to turn in your computer at least once a week, but so far I have had no issues.
so is it possible to install old 32bit games after this jailbreak ?

Hi, it always gives me an error when using the socket app on my pc. It sayes there was an error communicating with your device
I did all steps on a iPad 4 with 10.3.3 socket gave me a Cydia that won’t work
I had the same issue but then I realized that Zebra has all the stuff that Cydia has so you should just use Zebra :)
Hi! I followed all the steps and it doesn't work for me. I just don't get how Zebra works. I have a 4th gen Ipad, and it's still at iOS 10.3.3 after all the steps. Do I need to download some package on the Zebra app ? I would like to use TH-cam and Netflix and I don't know what to do. Both apps don't work when downloaded from the appstore. Thanks for your help!
Hi,
Jailbreaking itself only unlocks the file system of the device for you access and modify, it just removes Apple’s restrictions. Zebra is a program that allows you to install different programs that take advantage of this new access you have. Things such as themes, apps outside the App Store, app customization, and more. So, it has nothing to do with making TH-cam and Netflix work. I doubt the old Netflix app can be made to work again but TH-cam might, google and see if there’s a tutorial to fix it that still works. It’s been a while since I’ve tried.

@@Shadowdrifting no - the 5s is 64-bit. I forget what I used on my iOS 10 iPhone 6 but I believe it’s totallynotspyware (or you could use doubleh3lix)

You can’t.
You require the Apple ID and the correct password to said ID to make it work.

Hi thanks for this video. Really need some help. I have an old jailbroken iPhone 5. Recently charges it up to listen to some music. I forgot my pass code. Is there anyway I can get it back. I forgot which program I used it may have been checkra1n but not 100% sure. Hopefully someone knows what I can do. Thanks
I can log into iTunes so I can keep trying my passcode atleast. And if I unplug it and plug it back in I can keep trying. But I don't want to lose everything cause I am not sure what gets backed up.

You have to deal with the battery before anything else - that may be a parts device

@@3lectr1c I'm having a problem logging in with apple id on my chrome. (On samsung)
It wouldn't let me make one because of "Your request could not be completed at this time." So i had to make it on the apple music app. (It succeeded) When I try login on apples website and finish the 2fa part, it gets stuck on the "apple id and privacy" screen. When i hit continue nothing happens. I've heard you need to do it on an ios device and not an android, because Apple is apparently hostile with people trying to log in on androids. So you can help me?

I need more information than “it doesn’t work” to help - what error are you getting? Have you tried googling the error?

You’re going to have to google that error - it’s related to your app settings. Just apple being annoying.
