- Yes, I am a 32-year old virgin. Please know that me releasing this video is very personal to me. This is in no way a judgement to anyone who has made different choices in life, or who has experienced other traumatic experiences that weren't their choice. This is me sharing my story, and my journey, and why I've been a virgin up until this point. Please know that I love you, and I am compassionate and respectful to your journey as well. Some context here: I filmed this video two years ago while in Bali, and I feel now that I'm ready to share this the world. I hope that this video inspires you feel empowered to be your authentic self and voice the things that you feel are important to you. There's so much pressure in society right now to be someone that your not and to do things you're not ready for... and I am here to reassure you that you don't have to do anything you don't want to do. This message is for everyone, both male and female. I plan to do a present day follow up on this video, sharing more of my current perspective on this and how I've grown since I filmed this two years ago. Thank you Kristina, women need to protect their fertility and their sexuality and be saving themselves for what matters, being a Virgin and celebrating that is awesome. I do find dating as a child to be wrong, too often they become victimized and certainly do not have the adult strength to protect themselves, do they just get to be kids. We raised our kids to really try to just be kids and learn about healthy non-sexual relationships with the other youths in their lives, it has also helped others and the ones that could not abide struggled so much.
Moral rules either set by parents or individuals on themselves is really healthy.
Blessings Kristina for sharing this and you are right - breakups and the end of relationships is a pain to the soul, no one is ever okay with it unless there is something wrong with them. It is also a fact that when couples of any kind chose anything other than a sacred marriage to explore healthy unitive, procreative sexuality they struggle as that intimate part starts to become selfish, you don't have to take my word for it we have a human history full of it. It is tough but it is doable with the grace of God. Sex before marriage is like putting the cart before the horse you just cannot travel the way it was intended, and living together increases the rate of divorce dramatically. You are a good person Kristina so keep the faith, God does provide all that is needed, just keep staying true to those beautiful healthy blessed things and find the person that shares that and not anything less.

I am also "still" a virgin. I put "still" in quotes because its so silly to have this idea that you are supposed to be having sex at a certain age. I choose to not sleep with anyone who I am not married to. Its not as unusual of an idea as popular culture would have you believe.

I waited until I was 37, not because of religion or family ideals, just my choice. I think it's problematic to equate virginity with purity, though. What about those who have been sexually abused, it's adding insult to injury. This also means that we are impure once we have shared our sexuality with another. We are more self-contained, and our energy is different, before we share our sexuality, but using the idea of impurity is such a harsh concept (with a terrifying history of punishing females). I think modern culture does cheapen sexuality and people don't think of it as a serious decision to become intimate. It's more of a hobby these days, and the media is relentless with it.
I am not saying that others are impure though. I’m talking about my own journey here. This is about me and not other women. I think sex can be a beautiful thing, when desired and when ready. I’m sharing my own journey here.

I feel though that my history of multiple molestations in childhood and dangerous promiscuity in my young teenage years is where that pain is bubbling up from. Those are unresolved issues within me and that is MY journey. So I can understand what you mean when you say this is just YOUR journey and how you feel about it deep down for you. I think of my magical beautiful perfect creature of a daughter of only 5 years old right now, and I hope and pray she will be able to have all the self assuredness and confidence and insight about this topic that you have carried with you from so early on. I found everything you said beautiful. However, one thing that bothered me it's the concept that women are only pure because of virginity or not having sex. It's a choice. If you don't feel like someone deserves you as a whole, that's something to be proud of. But women who have sex or giving your virginity doesn't make you less pure or dirty. This is something society needs to stop. It's detrimental.

It’s not simply a religious concept, you might have a look at microchimerism. Women store the dna remnants of the men they have unprotected sex with. Sex is a very serious deed. The amount of sexually transmitted diseases spreading around is the result of people believing sex is not sacred and shouldn’t be limited to one person to share their life with.
Also, it’s not just “religious” but sex was created by the creator. We have a creator and God designed sex like everything else. You’re right, we have free will. You don’t have to choose a relationship with God and follow the values, however, we all fall under the same principles and we should be aware and know that sex was created not just to feel good but also to be blessed with the right person. You ARE in fact sharing soul ties and every person you are intimate with you now have been with everyone that the other person has been with. You take with you a soul tie with that person and many other soul ties which have .. baggage, toxicity, bad energies etc everything she said. She didn’t go in depth because she wasn’t trying to be religious. But, if we study the beginning and why sex was created we have to be realllly really careful. We don’t understand the soul ties we take with us in the moment but we could be carrying this with us years later than cake from someone else that we allowed in! It isn’t “just sex” it’s way deeper. But fortunately, these soul ties can be broken!

Having done so, I’ve been chasing love my whole life and I’ve been doing so through the lenses of sex. It’s been draining and such a huge burden to be honest. I was 31 until I lost my virginity to my now husband. I was okay with being a virgin but because people always made it an issue and made fun of me a lot I felt like I was weird.
