I first went vegan over 10 years ago.. then 100% raw and I even ate fruit only for a while there.. detox is REAL. We need to build up from a strong foundation. I had to get rid of the overwhelming toxins from my youth. Fruit and fasting is very powerful. Now I eat a balanced diet of natural fruits n veggies! If anyone is starting out just hang in there! You got this!! 👍

I'm asking because even who don't eat high Quality Foods and live in all sorts of dwellings do not have toxic or pathologic Levels of various heavy metals or environmental pollutants in their bodies. The human Body is very efficient at metabolizing or Clearing various potentially harmful or poisonous substances as well as reparing damage on the genetic and cellular level. So, did you ever receive a diagnosis of lead poisoning or asbestosis or something like that or are you simply assuming that you were "toxic"?

Hehe..so my friend bought this face cream, masks and cleansing products (all in all 300 dollars) from some shady cosmetologist. She used it for two days and developed red rash on her cheeks and forehead. She called that cosmetologist and the answer she got: 'Its a detoxing reaction. Some toxins accumulated in your skin and underlying tissue are clearing out'. Another three days and some very painful sores later turned out that detox reaction was a chemical burn.

I'm really surprised she didn't talk about gas. Gas and bloating are really common in the beginning, since many people don't have the enzymes in their digestive tract to digest so many fruits and veggies at one time. It takes a little while to build them up, but after you do, you tend to feel so much better.
Yeah. So on my first raw day I ate 3 oranges for breakfast and it made me really sick. I thought I got food poisoning, which I guess is still possible. On my 4th raw day I had a tummy ache like some cramping after having a huge smoothie . Besides that I’ve been feeling great. I definetly think a lack of enzymes could be playing a role here and I think it will clear up soon! I’m following Kristina’s book mostly but with a couple changes and a couple cooked things here and there and it’s been great so far!
I had horrific rashes for months after going Vegan, about 6 months if I remember correctly. I was 55 at the time I went Vegan. So, I had a lot to clear out. However, I felt better and better every day.
Mucus mucus mucus, very dry hands, headaches :-) But, it didn't (doesn't) feel so bad, as somehow you feel the nasty stuff is moving out, rather than being stuck there. At the same time, emotions got balanced and energy levels were higher than ever. Embrace the cleanse!

People usually welcome the cleansing symptoms because it is the proof that it works for them. And when the cleansing is over you feel sooo good. That is happening few times with less and less symptoms and than it is gone. It is important process. It is for your own good.

There is so much less processing your body has to do and free energy to actually feel good. And then the fact that it takes less time to prepare meals makes it even more achievable.
This video is so on time! I am pretty sick and am at the point that I have to do something to turn this around. I have most of the symptoms sans the Diabetes that you mentioned in the video. Ironically I started juicing this weekend and eating more fruits/veg than I think I ever have in life. The inflammation in my body is off the hook and got worse when I started the juicing and fruit. Naturally I didn't understand why I am experiencing more inflammation now and was about to stop my new regimen when I saw you posted a new video on detox symptoms! Your words are encouraging to keep going and ride out the symptoms. Hopefully by this time next week my body will have adjusted or I will tweak the fruit and veg I'm consuming because I may have an allergy I wasn't aware of. Thanks again!

So happy to see you speaking at conferences and sharing your experiences on a broader scale. Went raw this passed summer, very enjoyable but I'm craving soups and stews as we move toward the winter. I'm hoping to remain at least 80% through the fall and winter.
I was afraid of losing weight as I was already underweight, but after learning about it I decided it was worth the risk. The energy alone is worth everything, even though I did lose a little more weight, I feel so much more healthy that it's worth it. Doctors tell me I need to eat more, but that's not in my budget to eat more of what makes me feel good, and I don't think eating foods that drain my energy and cause me so much pain are worth being what other people consider a healthy weight. I feel weird winging it with my health, but listening to my body and energy levels was the best choice I ever made, so I'm trusting that. My boyfriend thinks I'm anorexic, but I eat only what feels good, and I eat as much as I can. I just don't wanna suffer for what society expects me to be. Anyone know ways to gain on this diet on an extreme budget? I watched her video on it, I wish I could do those things but I can't right now.
Abi G do healthy grains make you feel sick? Like quinoa and brown rice? If not, maybe try to incorporate them to up your calories until you have more money to buy all raw foods. Hope everything works out for you ❤️
I am.answering this very late but thought anyone else reading it might need the info. Bananas and Avacado are good for gaining weight. For anyone with a latex allergy do not eat too many Avacados though, it can cause a reaction.
I was a raw vegan for a solid 8 months. after being vegan for 6 years. I felt good, skin was so good and never looked better BUT my IBD did not improve I was going to the bathroom more than 10 times a day and couldn't handle the high fibre, roughage and water retention. I want to go back but its such a challenge and the produce where i live is not good at all. I even gave up my job to stay home and try it (couldn't even travel) still vegan but cooked half raw, no grains. food like kelp noodles are the strongest laxatives for me
I've gone fully raw for over 30 ays before and it's literally the best I've ever felt.. but then I fall off the wagon. I'm vegan but I'm a junk food vegan. I'm addicted to pasta and bread and it's just bad. How do you get away from that temporary "pasta is soooo good." Feeling and stay fully raw? Ugh
Cara Brotman has a Sweet Potato Pasta Recipe. looks like a salad though but probably more carbs than the zucchini. Markus says 2 cups and you will be full for half a day it is 5 star restaurant style.
This is my favorite video of you, I can see your fully raw soul in your speech and body language. I’ve watched you since 2013 and you’re an amazing inspiration to me and so many people! I would love to see more videos like this where you speak a bit more real, it made me cry because I feel the same way about this lifestyle and I love you sharing your beginning stages and would love to hear more about how it helped you evolve your health and spirituality. 💖
Thank you!! I havent gone completely vegan, but I started incorporating vegan dishes. I am amazed at how energized and yes. ..detox symptoms are light but I am feeling really good ❤. I think I was getting too much sodium from meat. While its organic, the elimination of eating so much...I feel amazing. Thank you for sharing❤

Im so inspired by your life and your journey to being healthy. Ive been a fan for 4yrs now. I love and look forward to ypur videos. ❤😊
I want to be healthier. I want to quite soda, dairy, and sugar. You have definitely inspired me. I will be trying a fruit of choice and that will be peaches. What I would like to know is if you ate peaches for breakfast lunch and dinner and if they were only organic. Please let me know. I want to start feeling better. Mental fogginess, constipation, and tiredness all affect me. I want to jump right in.
Kristina!!! It was great!!!!!! You are amazing. Greetings from Poland ;* ;* ;* ;* !!!!!!!! I only drink juices from grapes and celery and there is power !!!!!!!
Jahnes love Kristina. Thanks for sharing your experience when you first became fullyraw vegan. I have been on the path since 2007 and before that I was a vegan for many years. I have gone through the phases of being vegetarian, beegan, vegan and fullyrawvegan. But being homeless has been hard. And my body was in shock from not having my raw vegan soups and juices. I am planning to return to NYC so I can get back to making rawvegan soups in my Vitamix or Kuvengs. And, I like to detox. I am using this raw vegan detox mix that is made with organic spirulina, wheat grass, chlorella and my bowel movements are better. The detox is helping to alkaline my system. And I feel much better. Blessed love.
I was a vegetarian for years. It was a very negative experience for me. I'm currently on a high protein, whole foods diet. I can not do a high carb diet, or a diet dependent on plant protein (especially soy). I can relate to the detox though. When I detoxed from carbs it was wicked, but now I feel amazing. However I find these videos invaluable and I love my green smoothies. :-)
@@CalmVibesVee Far fewer. I started a low GI diet. A small amount of lean animal protein fills me up far better than whole grains and legumes. I eat far more green vegetables too because of it.
Wow, I remembered this video today and I wanted to thank you for uploading and sharing your journey. No joke: i saw this video when it came out 4 years ago and I was like: "maybe I will try this one day" I was really sick at the time. Now 4 years later I went through different doctors' treatments and was in the hospital 2 times, because of my stomach issues. I currently am vegan and feel better than when I eat animal products, so I think I will try this. Appels for the next 14 days wish me luck. I think I am ready. If someone else is interested: I could answer to this comment and say how it went. I hope I remember to update you on this experiment. To the person reading this: I wish you a wonderful day. You are amazing and I hope you get some sun soon.
My only worry with fruit is the sugar esp after having just been a cancer patient with an aggressive cancer. Whilst I was under investigation for the disease my diet changed drastically for around a month n half /2 only eating veg and the odd berries. But things still progressed and quite quickly. I'm not saying it was the cause ofcourse not but I'm not sure it did anything in the way of helping either. Unless your able to tolerate all that sugar (difficult with parasitic and candida issues) this diet can be a little challenging.
wow, it was John Rose you met? That's amazing! I knew that you met someone but didn't know who it was. Yep, detox takes time. So important to stick with it though, totally worth it!
I'm not even fully vegan eat a little chicken but doing lemon juice, 16oz celery juice, heavy metal detox smoothie for about 25 days so far and am still eliminating a lot more than I eat. 4-5 bathroom runs every morning is blowing my mind
Long story short I’m vegan now but once I get a job I want to become highly raw vegan and that means buying more fruits and vegetables (obvi). I was curious if you could make a video on budgeting? And don’t be scared to let us know how much it cost because it’s honestly so much more worth spending money on yummy healthy fruits and veggies than nights in the hospital or unnecessary medications. I truly want to be smart about what I’m buying as a soon to be raw vegan and I want to be able to buy things knowing I’m not paying too much or too little. I do realize that I should definitely experiment on my own and create a budget that works for me but maybe you could make a video on helpful tips? Love your peaceful videos so much! Have a beautiful day!🧡
I think your budget can be very different depending on where you live and what kind of products you buy. For example, when I go to my hometown, it costs me 20 dollars a day but now it costs me 20 dollars a week in the countryside. The reason why I save more money is because I choose to buy the cheapest vegetables in season that I see in markets (beets, zucchinis, salads, ...) but in big quantities and I make juices with it. And since I live in France, vegetables are much more affordable and better quality than fruits. So I don't buy a lot of fruits. The vegetables are cheap, but they are not cheap in terms of nutritional value ;) I think if you want to save money, you should be smart with your choices !
Save money and eat loads of bananas. Cheap and delicious. Eat on its own or with freshly grounded peanut butter and of course lots of frozen banana nice cream. My husband and I were on a very tight budget and he lost 100lbs in 3 months of just eating bananas. Once you have extra money, incorporate other fruit meals or salads you enjoy. We both now eat 2 large meals a day which costs about 8$ per day. Look for sales on produce and stock up, freeze. Shop at bulk stores such as Costco or SAMs club. You can make being raw as cheap as you want. Don't let money stop you. If you pick apart how much money you spend a week on things (eating out, coffee, activities, snacks, shopping and regular meals in general) I'm sure you'll find unnecessary spending or ways to cut back. Health is wealth!! Good luck on your journey!:)
Original reply to this comment is bad advice. If you go raw vegan your predominant source of calories should be fruit.. like Gina said, bananas are very cheap and calorie dense. I would eat at least 10 bananas a day or more. Dates are also great for calories, and melons when theyre in season. Stay away from too many nuts and seeds/ avocados. If you want all the detox benefits you have to stay low fat.
Pooping once a week? If I skip one day it drives me crazy. My ex was 5'6" 92 lbs but she went down to 87lbs at one point, in part because she got a bad flu and stopped eating. Scary...I thought she was going to die. To be a fair observer who doesn't eat a raw diet, Kristina doesn't look emaciated or malnourished at all FWIW. If I met her on the street the first thing I'd ask her about is her teeth.
Thank you! I’ve been scared to try again and fearing what could come up, not knowing how to deal and heal from whatever arises. Past of gallbladder removal, appendix removal, kidney stones, so how to heal my body?! It’s been a struggle to find the right lifestyle for me. But I 100% agree food is medicine, I will attempt again and hopes to learn and evaluate better. 🙏😘💝
I want to know if you make any special preparations for traveling abroad. I adopted a vegan diet in January. In July I travelled within the U.S. . I took dried fruit, nuts and other snacks with me until I was able to get to the grocery store. I am making my first international trip since becoming vegan in November. I will have a kitchen. I was wondering if I should take certain staples with me for a day or two until I find out about local markets.

The standard American diet made my body extremely toxic. Growing up on fast food and meat/dairy = toxic city lol

Agree 100% that everyone should do at least 1 raw vegan meal a day
Your stomach bugs would slap you up side your head
Lol
I am slowly turning vegan once I turn 18, I have a raw vegan lunch everyday as 17💛✨🌸 I love you so much Kristina, thank you for everything.
Awesome :)
Great! Your in the right place. Good to see young people getting into the lifestyle.
Keep up the good work 🗽
Look at her aging since she went vegan.
That's awesome! I went vegan when I was 16. It can be tough if you don't have supportive family but it will get better. ❤️
Hope everything works out for you ❤️
@@jollyrancher0531 They arent as bad as some other foods but not sure if it's worth it, because they do hurt a bit. Thank you
Abi G I’m sorry to hear that! I hope you find a good solution soon ❤️
I am.answering this very late but thought anyone else reading it might need the info. Bananas and Avacado are good for gaining weight. For anyone with a latex allergy do not eat too many Avacados though, it can cause a reaction.
The headaches have started but I will stick with it.
Thank you so much for being you. You honestly saved my life years ago.
Just had a thought….we are like human juicers…eat and absorb nutrients and expel pulp (poop waste)!
I love these videos! I'm doing one cooked meal a day now and the rest are raw vegan. You have helped me so much. Thank you.
thanks Kristina.....third day raw and detoxing.....
You inspire me to be healthier... I’m so happy that I found your channel
You're talking so beautifully free in this video! Feel like I am standing right in front of you 💗😊
I'm doing the raw vegan 28 day cleanse by medical medium at the moment and it has been amazing so far! Love the raw lifestyle😊🍉
The amount of tweaks I’ve made over ten years of raw is crazy! It’s never ending, Health is a journey and worth every second! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
"plopping yourself down"?????? you could never! you are so gracious and perfect and awesome
Happy u posted
Ugh
Stephanie Dawson substitute pasta with zucchini noodles🥒
I love veggie noodles but they just aren't the same! Struggle. Lol
I would say you probably need more of those carbs that your getting from pasta and bread.
I don't want to know how you sell.
Cara Brotman has a Sweet Potato Pasta Recipe. looks like a salad though but probably more carbs than the zucchini. Markus says 2 cups and you will be full for half a day it is 5 star restaurant style.
I do intermittent fasting ( 1 meal a day usually )
This is my favorite video of you, I can see your fully raw soul in your speech and body language. I’ve watched you since 2013 and you’re an amazing inspiration to me and so many people! I would love to see more videos like this where you speak a bit more real, it made me cry because I feel the same way about this lifestyle and I love you sharing your beginning stages and would love to hear more about how it helped you evolve your health and spirituality. 💖
Thankyou Kristina for your help. You are amaizing
This is the best video, thank you. I would love to try going raw vegan, I am sure it will help the inflammation in my body.
Vegetarian hasnt helped me with my medical issues. I have lupus and its geeting bad. So ive been wantomg to go raw vegan for awhile now..ive always loved your codeos and incorporated your recipes in my life but going raw might help. Im so inspired by your life and your journey to being healthy. Ive been a fan for 4yrs now. I love and look forward to ypur videos. ❤😊
Check out Brooke Goldner MD protocol for reversing lupus
You encouraged me so much, that now i am healthier , because of you ..as the song said, love you ♥
Thank you Kristina, this has been most helpful.
The stairs tell me everything I need to know. When im raw I have no arthritis.
You angel. You took care of your entire family. You are beautiful. Keep doing well.
Loved that Hot Pockets commercial before the video!
Inspirational!! God has a true purpose for your life to help others-He has truly gifted you
I was tryna find some sort of clarity and your words of encouragement helped me start this new journey & have a better consciousness thank you 😍😇🙏🏾
How many carbs are you doing now?
@@CalmVibesVee Far fewer. I started a low GI diet. A small amount of lean animal protein fills me up far better than whole grains and legumes. I eat far more green vegetables too because of it.
Thank you, Christina! You are an amazing soul! Many greetings from Greece!
Wow awesome! So glad you did this video. Thanks for all your great content
Love you dear Kristina...watched you from the beginning!!! Blessings on your travels, thank you for all you are and do! :)
Hey update ????
Do you sleep better now Kristina? I know getting good quality sleep and staying up late was your weakness a few years ago
I’m on my 3rd day fully raw and I keep having sharp pains in my head. But I will persevere
This video inspired me for a seven day challenge! Thank you so much for sharing ❤️
You're awesome as always. Thanks!
Radiant as always! :)
when I went vegan I was constipated for about 2 weeks and got sooo many canker sores!
Hi! You and two other youtubers inspired me to go vegan! You also encouraged me to get long hair like you.
THEY are inspired by companies paying them to promote this new age hoax
I got a notification but don't see your post. You look it up and agree now ? :)
FullyRawKristina and your so pretty, I love watching your videos!
I want to be raw vegan too. 😢😢😢
Thank you for sharing, you helped me a lot!
I am 17 years old and I am vegan in Singapore 😉
Hey baby girl!! Keep up the good work and information.
Also I feel a little weak fully raw. I am about 85% fully raw. I eat seeds, beans, some rice, some baked sweet potatoes and squash.
This is such an amazing video! Thank you for this & your encouragement! ✨💞

wow, it was John Rose you met?
Gina m Good advice girl!
Pumpped Yes I agree, I was saying good advice to Gina not the first reply. :)
Love this video! How can I detox before starting this lifestyle?
Please explain how do you do your groceries shopping and stocking your home with the foods you eat .?
She grows her own food
So beautiful! Namaste 🙏. The power of a vegan diet.
Love you Kristina thanks for the inspiration..
Tell us why it is more difficult to digest raw vegetables and how we would go about doing that in comparison to cooked or steamed vegetables?
Really appreciate this information. I'm not vegan at all but your videos are an inspiration and I'm really considering it. I'm definitely watching.
Thanks, great to hear about your travels and experience🌱💚🍓
Pooping once a week? If I skip one day it drives me crazy. My ex was 5'6" 92 lbs but she went down to 87lbs at one point, in part because she got a bad flu and stopped eating. Scary...I thought she was going to die. To be a fair observer who doesn't eat a raw diet, Kristina doesn't look emaciated or malnourished at all FWIW. If I met her on the street the first thing I'd ask her about is her teeth.
dear Kristina, you are always shining....love to watch your videos.💟👍
I’m Costarican and I didn’t get to see you! Hope you enjoyed yourself here. Btw I’m joining the challenge
You’re so beautiful Kristina and such an inspiration to many. ♥️
Another person who never looked what she looked like 5 years ago.
She looks 45. She is actually 31. She looks horrible.
@@gwynedd1 Right lol. Someone not kissing ass
Kristina, you are such a pure spirit. I love you. Thank you for everything. 🍑🍊🍐🍎🍏🍋🥑🥝🍍🍑🍅🌽🥕🥒🥜🍉
Love the video! Do you edit your videos or someone does it for you? I’m a new health coach, so still learning the ropes...
I would Like to know everything about fasting, please?
I'm excited I'm going raw also....yayy!!!!!!
Lucky for you, detox always are hard for me since 5 years
