My headcannon is that AlphaLegion dreadnoughts are filled to the brim with all kinds of hacking and communication jammimg equipment. They are not like spying-spying but mess with electronics and voxcasters, bringing confusion to whole area.
That hammer of Vulkan? It's teleportation beacon. There is story about Vulkan being tortured by Curze. Curze thrown him into labirynth with his hammer and some of Salamanders trapped at the end. Vulcan made it to end to find his marines dead. Curze told him "What you do now? That chamber is shielded from teleportation!". Vulcan "You forgett something: It's also a hammer..." and proceed to beat up Konrad with it.
So that big tank behind bricky is what’s known as a glaive which is based off of the falchion tank chassis, the only difference is that it’s equipped with a vulkite Carronade which is essentially an oversized thermal laser cannon, which is powerfully enough to punch through practically anything given how power the laser beam is, to the point where it’s so powerful it can set any and all nearby objects on fire, where to put it in some sort of perspective the hand held vulkite caliver is a weapon capable of punching straight through space marine power armor as well as setting the marine inside on fire and was the standard weapon used by average humans during the crusade, now imagine what a weapon capable of killing a space marine with one shot look like if it were scaled up and then mounted ontop of a super heavy tank?😂😂
no one even knows why there is two or how two primarchs came to be for the Alpha legion. Making it 21 primarchs when you do a head count, but for legions its 20. So confusing, Did the emperor clone them? Did Alphaerous Clone himself to make Omegon? Was it just meant to be one Primarch that split into twins? no one knows, and asking them doesn't help
Magus did nothing wrong! sorta.. lol. So basically Magus found out about Horus's betrayal before anyone else and needed to warn the Emperor. So the fastest way to do that was through psychic power. So he sent an urgent message across the void to the Emperor. This message was so powerful it destroyed the things the Emperor was working on to maintain the Astronomicon (guiding beacon in the warp). The Emperor saw this as a betrayal, didn't believe the message, and now hunted Magus. So Magus had no choice but to escape and join the chaos god to survive. So he technically did wrong then, and he is certainly doing wrong now.
Poor Angron. Raised a slave, forced to fit in gladiatoral matches against humans and beasts regulary. Angron had the most unique power from all other primarches. The power of an Empath. Able to siphon the negative energy, emotions and memories from his gladiator family members. Often holding them and helping them fall asleep, to help them relax from the terrors and torture they faced. As far as primarches go. He WAS going to be one of the kindest primarches out there naturally. He was supposed to be the Emperors kindness, love and compassion. And another kick to the balls for Angron was his world was quite literally next to Robute's system. And the crappy thing is. Robute had a hand in why Angron had the butchers nails implanted. If Robute and his parents had absorbed the nearby systems under their control, they could have stopped the tyrants of the Angron's world. And could have saved him. But they relented. And doomed Angron from their inaction. Angron had told the masters he wasn't gonna to fight anymore after refusing to fight his foster father. And so they captured him. Tortured him and put the butchers nails inside. Ans the rage from this ended up driving Angron to murder his own adopted father.. And was horrified. Crying and screaming in anger. And would lead a rebellion against the masters. And they were nearly destroyed, doing a final stand.. the emperor swooped in and captured Angron, saving him from death. But could see his gladiatoral family being slaughtered. Demanding to have himself released or he'll kill the Emperor and made an attempted to do so. It failed. And the emperor straight up called Angron a failure and would be a hammer against his enemies. So when Angron was released and introduced to his sons. He started to massacre them, with just his gladiatoral attire and chains around his body. Crushed Astartes in full power armour, even a terminator. Like it was a soda pop can. His legion. The Dusk Raiders. Were a very good legion, smart and capable and one of the kinder legions. And they loved their father, sort of. They wanted their fathers love and envious of other legions who had good relations with their primarch. Like Robute. And some of them wanted the butchers nails, to know thr pain of their father and share in it. Others wanted to kill Angron, others wanted to seek help frol other legions to help their father. The Emperor with his surgery with Malcador, in attempting to remove thr Butchers Nails from Angron. All his organs, his spine and nerves had all been connected to the nails. If they were to remove the nails, Angrons organs would all repture and the nails rip apart Angron's brain in a instant. And the energy was pulsing from Angron's body. So it'd never run out of power. This technology was far more advanced then most others in thr galaxy. And the Emperor for many reasons.. Unknown why. Doomed Angron to forever have the Nails. And boy did Angron hate his sons. And hated them even more when many put their own version of the nails into their brains. Angron also hated Robute. Robute was a golden child and he could have saved Angrom and his family long ago. And had blamed Robute. After hearing of Robute and how close they were. And Robute's story how they could have annexed Angron's planet. Angron tried to kill Robute (Been told in the past this is very old lore or fan made. But i dunno) And forever hated Robute. He hated the Emperor more after hearing how the Emperor negotiated with the masters. And tried to forbid Angron from returning, and to establish his legions HQ elsewhere. Didn't stop Angron armed with his legion to go there and slaughter the masters and all governmental leaders, servants, soldiers, arena guards and nearly the ENTIRE populace of civiliqns for daring to enjoy the blood sports. And seeing the sights of some of his remaining adopted family, all given the butchers nails. Still alive in tortured conditions.. He would absorb their pain one last time so they'd feel at peace.. Them thanking angron.. and either dying or being mercy killed by angron. Then taking all gladiators into his legion. Angron is a depressing story. A weapon for war unwillingly.

Agree Angron was a aspect of like all other apart of the emperor more charitable and caring nature. I go by the belief he was meant to be the second in command for Horus and the glue that hold all the different cultures of the legions together. Like how Konrad was meant to be the high supreme judge of the imperium. Magus was meant to site on the golden throne, and mortarian was meant to be the psyker hunter that theory. Thank to the Dark Gods. (I do not accept the emperor wife as cannon or any of the new lore. Because the joke wright itself. Humanity was nearly wiped out because of a woman moment). 3. I standby the emperor and kidnaping Angron to be based on poor writing. The emperor would have sent the imperial army and the war hounds to rescue Angron. The emperor has already saved some of his other sons during challenges. This would have prevented a legion from falling. In regards of him being a failure.
