Doc, I ordered the bottles in the winter and today I used them first time. I got 3. I hit my yard hard with soaking using the 3, to be honest I was really dreading it has I hurt my shoulder and doing hand spraying with my spray gun over long periods it's starts to act up. These bottles didn't bother me at all. I love how you can rest your arm straight down and still spray. It does look like I am pissing on the lawn lok. I sprayed about 6 hours today. I've been using the super juice but with your old recipe. Today since we haven't had rain going on 4th week I watered and put down humic acid, mollases, fish fertilizer and amonia. Loving the spray bottles. I love the way the water comes out. I would love to have a manual sprinkler head that could do that 👍
Last week I used two yellow spray bottles and they didn’t work very well, even after I opened up the holes. Bought 4 green bottles on Amazon and they are perfect!! Super juice frenzy! Highly recommended green over the yellow!!
Just did Super Juice for the first and here’s my two cents. I do have the Anderson bottles. I wish the level indicator was on both sides. That way you could visually see how product you have left when you’re spraying and this is why you need the dye. Although, I can tell when it runs out from the sprayer because it’s dark enough to see it. You run out of product very quickly so the pace he shows is correct. To strain I found some micron paper straining funnel that I put inside the plastic funnel to fill the bottles from my pitcher. I also found another small container so that I can drop it into each bottle because the container is so big. I’m applying this in the fall and will put down PGF Balanced in a week or so before it rains. I’m in Georgia too and it looks like we are done with hot weather.

Hoping to get some help here. I can't seem to find any information on trying to run tenacity through a hose end sprayer instead of a tank. Do I do as this video, mix the tenacity, surfactant, and turf dye in a bucket with the recommended gallons of water per 1000 sq ft and transfer into a sprayer bottle, then connect to a hose end? I worry that may be too much water and render the application useless. Any suggestions?
If my spray bottle covers 2500sqft and my chem calls for 1 ounce per 1000sqft then I add 2.5 ounces of chem to the bottle and top it off with warm water and shake. I use the same method with my 5000 and 7500sqft spray bottles. Maybe I'm wrong but I've had no problems yet.
Have you tried using it in a backpack sprayer? Will it be effective with super juice. I have mine calibrated pretty well and i only have one faucet on the back of my house making it hard to drag a hose to the other side of the house.
Will you show how to use dimension with a hose end sprayer. I was about to make a rig to make my own electric sprayer but if a hose end sprayer can be used it would save me time and money. Thanks

Hey doc, per the instructions I used a drill bit to make the holes bigger to stop the clogging but now there isn’t enough pressure and the spray stoops putting juice out .... is that what happens with the holes being too big ?

Are you absolutely sure there is no root/foliar uptake of the dye that (however slight it may be) helps add to the green color of the grass? I ask because I put down one application of Super Juice and immediately noticed a difference the next day. I was wondering if there is any effect of the dye regardless of how little. I know you can color flowers using food coloring.
How do you calculate the amount of SURFACTANT when using hose end bottles? Is the amount of surfactant added based on the volume of mixed chemical or do you have to account for all the additional water going straight from the hose through the sprayer too? (BTW - love the information Doc!)

Doc, love these spray bottles! I’ve purchased all of the items and following your procedure to a tee. I’m using the yellow bottle and I drilled the 3/32 hole as instructed. Here’s my concern and question: I noticed in your video you can see the green dye throughout the entire mist using the green bottle. When I use the yellow bottle, the mist is VERY faint in comparison to what I see in your video. I’m using the 1 tablespoon per gallon ratio. Is this normal? Should I be seeing a full green mist with the yellow bottle? Thanks for your videos!!!
Yes, same issue. I just slow down my walk rate to ensure that one bottle covers about 2500 sq feet. The darker it is the faster you walk. It's a "Kentucky Windage" kind of thing.
Hey Doc, I got anxious today putting weed killer and broadleaf killer with an old Ortho Dial a Spray I had in my garage. Well the Bayer went on ok, But I had some left over. My yard is 6700 square and Bayer is enough for 5k sq. So I guess not enough got ,put on. With broadleaf spray didn't as well, info on bottle said to pour all 24 oz. in and spray till it is empty. Well it really never got empty and I couldn't figure why it was not empty, so I put back in original container and Im waiting for another bottle sprayer from amazon. Got my PGF today, that was very quick on delivery. If you have any thoughts, please inform me. Thx

I just bought 2 of the Andersons bottles. Got them in today and was spraying just water and color to see how many bottles it takes to do my yard. Both bottles spray different. One is uses the product very slow while the other uses the product fast. How can I fix this so they spray the same?
So if I need 5 oz of chemical per 1000 sqft, I can mix it with 10 gallons (not that I would) and use that 10 gallons for 1000 sqft? To me it just seems like the more water you use to mix it with, the more it would dilute the chemical making it weaker. Also, I am new subscriber and a first time Bermuda grass lawn owner. I have been glued to your videos and have already purchased some of the products you recommend. Great videos!!!! Thank you
"CHEMICALS" is too broad of a word. i.e. some surface contact weed killers need to be applied at a certain dilution ratio. Dilute THEM too much and they will not work. Pre-emergents... no problem. They need lots of water. The point of the video really was in relation to super juice and making sure people, that were getting confused, understand that the WATER amount really is not super important and focus on the amount of DRY mix measurements.

That's what I do. I buy the insecticide and/or fungicide that covers 5k sqft, rinse and reuse. They are 32oz. Right now insecticide on Amazon is 4.15$. Pointless buying those regular expensive bottles!
Doc, I noticed you were using a one cup "liquid" measuring cup for the Super Juice instead of using a "dry" measuring cup. Doesn't that throw the measurements off? There is a reason one is for liquid and one is for dry measuring. It would seem you should be using a dry measuring cup instead of the liquid measuring cup. Just asking and curious. Love your videos. I plan on tilling, rolling, leveling with Scott’s turfbuilder lawnsoil, using humid dg, starter fert, milo, and super juice. Because the lawn was scalped and de thatched in October, I believe I opened up the lawn to weeds during the fall and winter and now, I’m currently battling winter weeds on a dead, bare, scalped lawn. Should I continue using glyphosate if I am going to sod soon? Would a pre or post treatment be more ideal vs glyphosate, considering I will be resodding? A nightmare to a wishful, hyped project to have a beautiful lawn. I have a video I made yesterday if you’d like to see it. Please help Doc!
If you plan on putting down sod, stop the GLY treatments and use something more selective like 2-4d. No pre-emergent goes down as it will impact root growth.
Great video doc. I'm following your program in detail this year. I still have a bottle of Liquid Lawn from last year do you think I can incorporate that in any way into the fertilizer applications?
Depending on the amount of dry mix of Super Juice used the actual amount of fertilizer spread changes. If you mix 1 cup with any amount of water and spread it over 3000 Square feet of lawn you will end up applying fertilizer in a 7 parts nitrogen 1 part Phosphorous and 2 parts Potassium ratio. If you double to two cups of dry mix Super Juice mixed with any amount of water and applied over the same 3000 Square feet of lawn you will be applying the fertilizer at twice the concentration ie 14-2-4 ratio.
I can't find a link to the video you mention at 5:57 where you vary the pace of your walking/spraying. I'd like to see how much chemical you're actually using up as you walk. Maybe these bottles you recommend are way better than store-bought/pre-mixed hose end sprayers...but those seem to take forEVER to get the chemical out! I walked a 12,000 sq ft lawn, at a fairly slow pace, and only used up about 1/2 of the chemical in the bottle (in this case, a post + pre emergent blend from BioAdvanced)!

How long does the green bottle take to put ot 1 gallonof watter i see it says they put ot 3oz/1gal. Wondering the time frame it takes to empty the whole jug or the ten gallons of water?
Trying to grasp your point here... but really it's just about learning your yard's "bottle count". Once you learn that, your application rates will be dead on.
Hey Doc, or anyone really. I purchased a couple of those hose end sprayers (green handle) and want to apply the BioAdvanced +Crabgrass Concentrate. Question: should I premix the 3.2oz/gallon and add that to the spray bottle, or just put the concentrate in directly? The spray bottle page on Amazon says they are 3oz/gallon, but I don't know if I should trust that and add the Concentrate directly to the sprayer bottle. I'm kinda new to this and the directions on either the spray bottle (non-existent) nor the Concentrate (non-existent) are offering any help... thanks!
It's better to apply this type of product with a tank sprayer so it's "stronger" when it goes on FYI... but if you do use the bottles, it's the amount of product to treat the lawn that matters. Only add enough water so you can treat the full lawn.
I am using the Hudson suggested Sprayer and attempting to spread Super Juice. I am filtering my mix before putting it into the sprayer bottle using the suggested 400 Micron filter/screen. I am mixing at a ratio of 1 cup of Super Juice to 1 gallon of water. I am still having issue with inconsistent sprayer action. I heard I thought on one of your videos a mention of drilling of a K1 Sprayer Head. I don't recall it being explained nor can I remember which video I heard this in connection with. Any suggestions on how to get consistent spraying?

Rarely use it.... only on weed killing products. Use the total sq feet that you are going to treat as a rule.

One bottle didn't even last to cover 1000 sq'. I wasn't walking slow at all. The other at the same pace used only half the bottle.
Do you know what water pressure the bottles are rated at? I have high pressure and i get about 1000 sq ft per bottle walking around at your pace.

Either will work...… I just bought my own GENERAL purpose cup so the wife would stop yelling at me. A cup is a cup.

Doc maybe I missed something what do mean with 7-1-2 ratio and the 14-2-4
Depending on the amount of dry mix of Super Juice used the actual amount of fertilizer spread changes. If you mix 1 cup with any amount of water and spread it over 3000 Square feet of lawn you will end up applying fertilizer in a 7 parts nitrogen 1 part Phosphorous and 2 parts Potassium ratio. If you double to two cups of dry mix Super Juice mixed with any amount of water and applied over the same 3000 Square feet of lawn you will be applying the fertilizer at twice the concentration ie 14-2-4 ratio.
What is the capacity of the cup you are using or the quantity of mixt(super juice product) per cup ?
How long does it take to use a bottle? I saw a review you have to work fast as it only takes about 3 minutes?
I can't find a link to the video you mention at 5:57 where you vary the pace of your walking/spraying. I'd like to see how much chemical you're actually using up as you walk. Maybe these bottles you recommend are way better than store-bought/pre-mixed hose end sprayers...but those seem to take forEVER to get the chemical out! I walked a 12,000 sq ft lawn, at a fairly slow pace, and only used up about 1/2 of the chemical in the bottle (in this case, a post + pre emergent blend from BioAdvanced)!
The new bottles are listed on the website. They are nothing like the prefilled ones.

Well there is a water only position if that is what you mean.
How long does the green bottle take to put ot 1 gallonof watter i see it says they put ot 3oz/1gal. Wondering the time frame it takes to empty the whole jug or the ten gallons of water?
Trying to grasp your point here... but really it's just about learning your yard's "bottle count". Once you learn that, your application rates will be dead on.

Sure... as long as you LEARN your lawn and understand how many bottles it takes. Just screen really well as those bottles have tiny holes.
What’s the difference in your super juice from the Anderson brand? It appears to be just the label.
There is only one SJ... it is made by Andersons.

Hey Doc, or anyone really. I purchased a couple of those hose end sprayers (green handle) and want to apply the BioAdvanced +Crabgrass Concentrate. Question: should I premix the 3.2oz/gallon and add that to the spray bottle, or just put the concentrate in directly? The spray bottle page on Amazon says they are 3oz/gallon, but I don't know if I should trust that and add the Concentrate directly to the sprayer bottle.
I'm kinda new to this and the directions on either the spray bottle (non-existent) nor the Concentrate (non-existent) are offering any help... thanks!
It's better to apply this type of product with a tank sprayer so it's "stronger" when it goes on FYI... but if you do use the bottles, it's the amount of product to treat the lawn that matters. Only add enough water so you can treat the full lawn.
I am using the Hudson suggested Sprayer and attempting to spread Super Juice. I am filtering my mix before putting it into the sprayer bottle using the suggested 400 Micron filter/screen. I am mixing at a ratio of 1 cup of Super Juice to 1 gallon of water. I am still having issue with inconsistent sprayer action. I heard I thought on one of your videos a mention of drilling of a K1 Sprayer Head. I don't recall it being explained nor can I remember which video I heard this in connection with. Any suggestions on how to get consistent spraying?
I'm going to include it in the next video. I need to find the right size drill bit.
