Right?? this is hilarious until you remember that the scammer actually believes this is a real senior, and the way they tried to take advantage of "her" memory and state of mind. Kit's performance is great, but this guy that he's talking to, what the scammer is doing, is absolutely vile. The only real levity for me is that the scammer seems to actually be buying into the ride he is being taken on, and didn't seem to suspect a thing.

It is really weird the genuine concern the scammer shows when she hasn't locked the front door but then goes right back to moral bankruptcy seconds later.
The way she rambles on and the first agent couldn't deal with her he had to get his supervisor, she clearly is in no shape to drive, yet they are sending this elderly women out to get gift cards...with her own money no less.😡🤬

I used to work in a (legitimate) call center. Kitbogas characters are nightmare callers. Its perfect for these scammers 😆
It's insane that scammers aren't just ruining old people's lives, but now no body trusts real callers.
@@kohotokun in Germany we dont have "real callers" unless you specifically ask for and expect a call. That made it easy for me exposing my first scammer caller recently.

@@snooganslestat2030 we actually do have call centers in Germany, especially for customer surveys. I used to work in two different places, people sometimes called us scammers, but it was very rare. They either hung up or participated.
But yes, of course we do not have technician callers or legit Microsoft people (what country does?)^^

I've been watching more of kit's streams these days, and he's been found out or almost found out multiple times. Most recent example I saw was when the scammer was watching his twitch while he was on the phone with kit. It's hilarious at times.
His voices are simply more convincing that most people trying to do, say "an old lady voice" online
And yes, people, I do know he uses a pitch modulator :) Those are no replacement for raw character acting talent, though.

Is Kitboga actually a granny who died and reincarnated into his body. He plays the role so well right down to mannerisms and such. When I'm just listening to the audio sometimes do forget it's just a character and not really a old lady.
The voice modulator helps. He listens to the voice through his earphones and that keeps him on track. He has/had a grandmother, and he's very observant and quick, so it all helps.

@@toshiroyamada2443 I think he has the marks of all good actors and mimics. He can immerse himself so well, particularly into those he is good at. His recovery from laughter is often brilliant, and even though sometimes it's clear to the person he's talking to that he is laughing, most times he can make the shift really well. But I know what you mean, and people love the old lady characters. I also feel she's real when I'm not watching. LOL

A sort of psychological war fare. He builds up their self confidense slowly, then *_SMACKS_* it down. I believe that is rather effective. A lot of what he does during the video is to destroy their self confidence. It gives him the over all power over them.
I’ve been watching kit for over a year and he never disappoints, talking to the scammer as the manager of the store was epic, I wished all store employees would do that and scare the scammers off. Redeeming is the best part, it never gets old.

So I'm an insurance agent, and this one lady I called I thought for sure had to be messing with me. I spelled out my email with all the "a as in apple" kind of stuff, and she still didnt get it. I thought for sure this had to be a prank. I didnt say anything about it, and thank God I didnt because it wasnt. Moral of the story, there are people out there who are as difficult to work with as kitboga when he is messing with scammers. I hope every person these scammers talk to is either a scambaiter or person who makes even the simplest thing like pulling teeth.

I was scammed several years back and I was suspicious when the lady stumbled over how to spell out letters. “E as in uh….elephant” is what sticks with me. Most people at least know tango echo. Luckily, I didn’t lose any money.
