I agree. It’s smaller in length too which was a big deal for me as I can fit it in sideways in my camera pack. 85% of my shots are at the longer end of a tele-zoom so it made sense for me.
Amazing video! Thank you for sharing! I couldn't find video where you speak about moving to nikon. Could you point me which one is it? I have both systems now and thinking which one to extend for wildlife. Thank you and looking forward for next video!!
The video is coming shortly. I postponed it as I'm still waiting on Fujifilm to respond about the warranty "repairs". The tl;dr is basically I've given them 2 chances to repair my 180-600 lens and they sent me a broken replacement...twice. I've been pretty displeased to say the least and I was tired of waiting for a working wildlife lens to go out and enjoy the season.
What cover are you using for your camera and lens? I want to get out and start shooting in less than ideal weather conditions. I’m in the south so no snow but once in a blue moon but we do have rain and fog.
You might laugh at this but they are waterproof baby nappys off Amazon! 🤣 (green sprouts Stay-Dry) I have since bought a LensCoat RainCoat camo sleeve in an attempt to be more stealthy.
Love seeing that early snow!
Like the good ole' days.
I love this combo and with the 1.4 tele it is just as good as the 180-600 with less weight.

Really enjoyed this! Keep it up Jesse!!
Hey, thank you for the kind words. Trying to get out as much as possible this year.
@@jessejayphotography I need to do the same, motivating myself to get out in the cold is always the problem lol
Nice hike in the winterly forest!
Hey Stig, thanks for watching. I really enjoy days like this.
@jessejayphotography 👍🙂
