My favorite part was the prayer moment. I’m so happy to hear someone say thank you to our lord and savior, Jesus. This thanksgiving, it was just my husband and 4 kids, and a friend of our son, who has never eaten a traditional thanksgiving meal from the Turkey, green bean casserole, corn pudding, pumpkin pie, apple pie, gravy, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, dinner rolls, apple cider. All mostly from scratch. I prayed for the thanksgiving. We had such a wonderful time. The friend said everything was so good. When he left I gave him the extra pumpkin pie I had made and some of the apple pie. It was a special evening for us all. The Lord was good with us this past year. My cancer is in remission and I was able to cook up this feast, my love language. Thank you for sharing your thanksgiving with us.
I have the best thanksgiving story ever. In 1976 when I was stationed at fort Bragg North Carolina my wife 2 children and 3 other guys from my unit decided to have thanksgiving at our house. I got paid 275 dollars a month and got paid every 30 days. The turkey came out of the oven looking so good. She was really proud of it until I stared carving it. I cut into it and water just poured out of I said did you thaw it out before you cooked it. As she started to cry she said I didn’t know I was supposed to. That girl couldn’t cook a hotdog and now she’s a dietitian for the veterans administration. That was wife number 1. I stayed in the army for 10 years
my grandparents were lucky to get 15 acres of land when they first moved to ohio where we all live now and they used to grow all kinds of local fruits and vegetables like grapes, squash, strawberries, sunflowers, watermelon, etc. seeing you walk through your garden always makes me think of when i used to go with them and help them with their gardens. 🥰💗
I love the way you and your family put the day together with care and love . Everything looked so delicious thank you for sharing your Thanksgiving with us . ❤️✝️❤️
I can’t tell you what I enjoyed more… the cooking and lead up to dinner. Granny’s linens and stories. The fixing of plates or the discussions in the background and chatter. Your meal looked delicious! I think my favorite part was a combination of it all- fixing the plate while listening to background talk and chatter and the warm feeling of the prayer. You can’t deplete that. I am alone- as you know- and decided I’d get a take out plate - couldn’t eat it. Wont do that again. I mean- it’s fine I’m over it eating alone. However, I’d prefer to have a ham sandwich than try to replace what i remember. Y’all are very blessed, indeed! Thank you for sharing your day.
I miss those large family gatherings we used to have at my Grandma's. But sadly she and so many Aunts and Uncles have passed on. It was great to watch your Thanksgiving time together.
Wonderful video, Tipper! All the food looked delicious, and your home and decorations looked beautiful! I am so glad you were able to make the apple cake for your mama. I know she really appreciated that! ❤

Thank you so much for letting us join you in your Thanksgiving celebration, it was a beautiful video. Your warmth and friendliness is so heart warming, it is a joy to watch your videos. Have a wonderful week 💞
That was wonderful. So much like ours. I sure am thankful for my wonderful family, for being blessed to live in Appalachia, but most of all for Jesus Christ who died so that I could have eternal life. God Bless You ❤
My cheeks almost closed my eyes from underneath; I was grinning fit to burst the whole time I watched this. I worked for the holiday but now after watching this feel like I spent it with family

Well, Tipper? That was just the most LOVELY Thanksgiving. So much fun to get to make it with you, and hear your thoughts and explanations shared along the way! See all your family, and everyone celebrating and eating and getting along like we're supposed to.... You know? If a person didn't have their own Thanksgiving; if they were a Thanksgiving 'orphan' -- away from, or without folks to share it with -- this would go such a long way toward filling the void. I have felt that feeling before, although I've never really been without -- fortunately. But I feel other's feelings, and this was such a VERY nice share. Thank you, Tipster and fam! Thank you so much!
I love the many ways you celebrate home, family & Appalachia. I celebrated Thanksgiving with my sister and her children and grandchildren. It was once again, the best ever! I'm sure yours was too!!
Watching yall makes me miss my husband more😢 I lost him 2mos ago to an illness. We were married 21yrs but it wasn't enough. I pray you have a long healthy life ❤

Ohhh how wonderful! What a feast! Everything looked so good! Thanks so much for letting us spend Thanksgiving with you all in Appalachia! I could almost smell that beautiful apple stack cake and the turkey baking! I'm smacking and slurping my lips! Happy holidays everyone!!🥰
My what a feast. I know you and yours had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thank you for inviting us into your home, Tipper. Your loved ones feel like our loved ones. God bless! Love you more and more.

It is so wonderful you had a whole house full. We used to have house full of people at my grammys and aunts but all have passed but my mama, so just a few of us. Family is such a blessing :)
That was wonderful! Thank you so much for taking the time to set all that up and thinking of us during this special family day. It’s a lot of work and from this country girl in the city - I thank you Your kitchen reminds me of my parents house . I think I needed this?

It’s the way that so many Americans used to live and celebrate holidays…. I love watching this channel because it reminds me of the way I grew up in East Tennessee , and reminds me that there are some families that are still living and celebrating the old ways.
I just wanted to say Thank Y’all for allowing me to be apart of your Family’s and celebrating this wonderful time of the year knowing that YaHWeH is the reason we celebrate. Watching your Family gather to visit with one another, the Girls picking and playing brings out the heart of Appalachia and so many memories of yesteryear that it brings a tear of joy to my eye. Watching your family gather around the kitchen table that the Ladies of the house have set and the Family Grand Father or in Y’all’s case Mr. Presley calls the Family into the kitchen table as everyone joins hands bowing their heads as He says the Recognition and Thank You Prayer to YaHWeH Giving Thanks! I will continue to pray for Y’all Daily and again Thanks be to You Mr. & Miss Presley for allowing me a total stranger to be apart of your Holliday Season, Your Friend in Christ Jesus, Steven!
I'm finding younger people have NO CLUE what is involved in planning and executing a full traditional Thanksgiving dinner. All the planning!!! It's HARD!!! But it's the best feeling in the world when you know you pulled it off!!!
I was so happy to see the apple stack cake. The last year grandma was alive she asked me to make the cake using the dried apples she and grandpa had done in the summer. She died the following spring. She left a note to me asking me to take all the dried apples in the freezer cause she wanted me to make more cakes.. what a wonderful memory. Thanks for all your programs. I am always watching your family. Mary

Thank you Tipper for including us in your wonderful Thanksgiving celebration. From watching you gather dried foliage to final cleanup with your girls, I loved every minute of it. The dried apple stack cake brought back many happy memories. It was my Dad's favorite cake. Our family has shrunk this year. We lost our Dad and our beloved brother so we haven't gotten as excited about the holidays. But we were so very blessed for many many years to have times like your dinner/get-together. I know you cherish your loved ones as it is so evident in all you do as a Mom, a wife, and a daughter . Your food looked so delicious. Again thank you.
Aw so sorry to read that you lost your dad and brother last year, hopefully this thanksgiving will be a happier time for you all, with the knowledge your daddy & brother will be watching with a big smile on their faces. There is no sadness in heaven. God bless Sara
Love this! I just did Thanksgiving dinner all by myself! It takes so much planning. I keep lists like you do for everything. Organization and planning is the key.🦃
What more can one asked than being with family on a day of giving thanks to God for all that he has shared with us as his children. All the food looked great the only thing I didn’t see was cranberry sauce with whole cranberries. 😮 God is great and he loves his children blessings upon all
Don't you just love it when a plan is perfectly executed! Thank you so much for including us for this Thanksgiving celebration🙂. You have a very lovely family and I'm sure a good time was had by all. Hugs
Thank you for sharing your Day. I always appreciate seeing videos of Appalachia. I often look for them on TH-cam. I grew up in Newfoundland and the Appalachains run right up North into my province. You ways of living are so kin to my own and I feel a kindred spirit whilst listening to you and it makes me feel homesick , although I did just spend over a month there visiting all my people on my side and my husband's side . And even had Thanksgiving there .... I brought back home to British Columbia some of my eldest sister's homemade Zucchini Pickles.... and the kind of bologna I grew up eating and the wonderful Atlantic cod fish which is used to make our favourite dish of Fish n' Brewis ... eaten by our forefathers when they fished the open waters of the Atlantic. How the foods and the music and the people keep warm and rich our lives no matter how far or how long we are away form home. Thank you to the good man who prayed and said all the important things we give thanks for on Thanksgiving. No wonder it all becomes part of us. It sounded like home. God bless you all.
Russian tea! Lord, I haven't heard of that in YEARS. My mom always made that around the holidays. She was from southwestern Virginia. You evoked memories that warmed my heart and made me smile. God bless you and your family Tipper.
This lovely video made me cry when you were looking for and arranging greenery for your table. My precious mother use to do the exact same thing. She would put Fall leaves, Holly and red berries, and anything beautiful from nature. Thank you for sharing your wonderful life.
Tipper, You are amazing as always! I loved all of your Fall Decorations! Beautiful Tables and the Food all looked scrumptious. Your Russian Tea sounds delicious. I loved the Bowl for the Rolls! The Girls just continue to grow into their music - loved hearing them play their instruments - what a nice way to lighten and brighten the day in the midst of all the preparation. Everyone worked so hard to make a beautiful meal - and yet you all made it look so easy! It was beautiful to watch all of you working together. Kudos to ALL of your Family - both in-house and those coming for the day - for the help they gave in helping with the meal. How Blessed you are to have so many loved ones to share Thanksgiving with - and that they each have a special dish to add to the table - and so special that you have both Mom Cindy and Granny to come and celebrate the day and add their special dishes to the fare! The only thing I didn't see was Cranberry Sauce!? Your Girls were so cute at the end - just like their Mama! God Bless You All and Thank You so much for sharing your 2022 Appalachian Thanksgiving with us.
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!! We forgot the cranberry sauce! Matt is the only one who likes it and he prefers the canned kind-I forgot to open the can 😀 Poor Matt!
I think that I've watched your Thanksgiving dinner 2 or 3 times. It's so wonderful seeing all those family members getting together , bringing all that delicious food to share, and it's all genuine good family love and enjoyment of delicious food. It's wonderful to have the space to have great family gatherings.
The only "normal" thing in my life right now is your family's videos. LOL! So happy I can click on and watch normal people doing normal things. Peaceful and Loving. :)

That biscuit kept moving around that plate till it landed on top! That’s how you make a plate!😍 thanks for having us along with your family! They seem lovely and inviting! I spent the day in church with my mama and they had food after for a church thanksgiving supper! It was lovely 🥰 love y’all!! The end with the girls was so sweet!
So sweet that Granny requested the Apple Stack Cake. I have never tried one but hope to one day! My mother dried apples every chance she got. They are the best when cooked down! Enjoy seeing your family gathering! Thanks from Mississippi!
Wow, what a feast! Everything looked delicious. Glad y’all had a wonderful, blessed day. My family and I did too. Thanks for letting us into your home and sharing your day with us. Sue
Love the sped up part of the video........feels like what my life is like leading up to the extended family gathering for Thanksgiving! So much to do that you end up going at warp speed!
Brings back wonderful memories of my family all gathered at my great grandmother's home for the holidays. Thank you so much for sharing. Happy Thanksgiving.
What a wonderful Meal of Thanksgiving! Food gleaned, grown, harvested, hunted and prepared with loving appreciation of God’s gifts. The vases of natural beauty, so much more than a florist dyed bouquet in a throw away container, were truly beautiful. The relaxing music (Scotland tune?) displayed not only talent, but the peace in your family home. Today’s homily was about all of God’s creation, all good. We were reminded to observe the creations that we encounter throughout the days of Advent. Thank you for sharing with a lady from Oregon
So much to be thankful for when there's so much appreciation for family and friends. The coming together seemed so filled with joy, and all of the food looked so good and I'm near positive that everything tasted as good as it looked. I'm sure hoping that your channel experience's an explosion in growth
Hi Tipper, it was such a treat to see your family celebrate Thanksgiving and be included in your gathering. I was raised in Upstate New York but my gramma Clum was raised in Appalachia and so much of what you were doing in the video felt warm and familiar to me though it was a long time ago and I live in Seattle now. I got a little misty eyed watching you prepare for the celebration but I broke down and cried when Matt said the blessing. Once again you and your family touched my heart. I am so grateful for what you do. God bless you.🙂
You got your self a beautiful turkey, I remember those days as a child a house full of family and friends. Now it's just my son and I at 59 years of age. Holidays are better with family and friends and lots of cheerful smiles. I baked and cooked up a storm even if it was us two. Beautiful day. Hugs from VA

Your Girls were so cute at the end -
just like their Mama!
Nature, in all her beautiful glory just outside your door, breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your & your families holiday traditions & fun.

The only "normal" thing in my life right now is your family's videos. LOL! So happy I can click on and watch normal people doing normal things. Peaceful and Loving. :)
I especially appreciate the blessing that was prayed before the meal. Your turkey, dressing and apple cake with custard look delicious!

So sweet that Granny requested the Apple Stack Cake. I have never tried one but hope to one day! My mother dried apples every chance she got. They are the best when cooked down! Enjoy seeing your family gathering! Thanks from Mississippi!

You are so down to earth. Just like at my house now and when I was growing up. I think we may have been raised and live the same lives...😄

Everything looks delicious. It makes me eager for Thanksgiving. It will be fun when your grandsons are celebrating Thanksgiving. with your family.
Love it, and cornbread dressing with nibblets in it, Heaven!
I'm sitting here thankful for what I am about to eat (a corn dog, that I love). And drooling over your food
So glad you enjoyed it 😀
Nice to see y'all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with lots of good food, friends, and family.

Such a wonderful meal and company. Love your girl's music...quite a talented family you've got!
So much to be thankful for when there's so much appreciation for family and friends. The coming together seemed so filled with joy, and all of the food looked so good and I'm near positive that everything tasted as good as it looked. I'm sure hoping that your channel experience's an explosion in growth
You are so kind-thank you 😀
This is the food my grandma and aunts made. YUM! I can still taste those green beans!

Your Thanksgiving looked wonderful. I really wanted one of those rolls you made. I look forward to every video, thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome!
Made me homesick. My mouth is watering 😌
