Volvo really needs to up their game supporting these two more directly. Such good sports and good operators.
Chris is like, “you know you screwed up on finding a 350 for me”
Exactly, I was taken aback that they didn’t work something out for him. He’s been Mr. Volvo forever. SMH
He was very open about that they tried but that the used machine market is very tight and he was very clear that he didn’t want a new machine for price reasons
You can hear the respect Chris and Mike have for each other.
Both can put a straw in a empty pop cup with the lid on using an excavator bucket.

Mike had the advantage on the mini. He's used to a loose bucket on his 120 .
the 120 not lose its the mini 304 that is lose.

Remember, Mike instals all those concrete blocks on his own and gets hooked and unhooked without any problem. Practice makes Perfect.

It's always great to see Mike and Chris competing against each other at any of volvo's exhibitions and your guaranteed a really good laugh, but the two of them show us the TH-cam viewers what is coming up in the excavation world, I'm am a volvo man from truck's to the excavators and I have driven and operated both the I've driven truck's all over Europe and excavators in the UK, thank you volvo for another great video. Just a after thought volvo missed a trick when Chris was looking for a bigger excavator and he had to go else where for his next machine.
I watch both of them and have fun.

I really liked the video guys. Both of you have awesome skills. I have watched letsdig18 more but dirt ball tv is great to. Very cool.
Mike’s advantage was obvious. He has so many projects where he is hooking/unhooking concrete blocks, and placing them. Don’t forget the number of clay pipe he put out into his field for tiles…although they were free, breaking them was wasted labor/fuel plus clean up. Fun stuff to watch and they’re both diplomatic ambassadors for the industry, Volvo, and now, Hyundai….Case for DP (being punny, he’d rather have a case of Pepsi).
Their will always be a place for electric equipment.

LOL I like Chris and i think he is a great youtube personality and partner kind of for Volvo but to say he has made Volvo more popular than ever is a bit over the top isnt it? His viewers arent the type of people usually out buying these expensive machines because the people buying these machines are too busy working to sit at home watching youtube!

Two people that are good for your brand... I am surprised Volvo didn't work harder to keep Chris in Volvo excavators.

Ran a 35 weight electric and it took 2 hours for twenty ft not good for speed

That the name of a creek next to country property, it had a diesel spill years ago and people started referring to the creek as diesel creek. That where he got the name.

Seems to me the main downsides of EV machinery are endurance & longevity
Once they can operate for a standard working day without needing charging & power cells have a guaranteed 6 year life, diesel is toast.
A guy with almost all Volvo equipment vs a guy with an old Volvo haul truck. Makes sense
