- A “Freedom Flotilla” aimed at delivering aid to Gaza was blocked in Turkey Saturday after being denied use of two of its ships, which organisers blame on Israeli pressure.
The coalition of NGOs and other associations said it was unable to set sail after the West African country of Guinea-Bissau withdrew its flagged vessels.
“Sadly, Guinea-Bissau has allowed itself to become complicit in Israel’s deliberate starvation, illegal siege and genocide of Palestinians in Gaza,” the Freedom Flotilla Coalition said.

@@mpetersen9825 These fleets belong to the Turkish aid organization called IHH and are state supported. This fleet was attacked by Israel while carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza in 2014. The sailors, all of whom were Turkish, were killed. Turkey and Israel came to the brink of war. Dude, you really don't know what Google is? Just write down who the freedom fleets belong to. BÜLENT YILDIRIM is the president of the foundation. He sent the first fleet in 2014. All donations were made by Turks. What kind of man are you? Can't you search on TH-cam?
