    Birds sing when the weather is good and when there are no predators nearby. This brings us a peaceful and safe feeling.

      That’s not entirely true although a nice sentiment. They sing when they want to mate or to assert their boundaries and protect their nests.

    I haven’t been able to do the hi-5, but didn’t know why.
    When Chris started to talk about the critical self judgement experienced , I was crying along with him. Thank you for your honesty Chris.
    BTW I’m a 70yo widow and mother who has been a caregiver for various family and friends since the age of 10. Recently my life has changed drastically and for the first time I have time for the stranger that is myself. ❤

    I just listened to the part where you talked about complimenting people on their nails. My mom is soon to be 80 and last year she moved into assisted living. One of the services included in her rent is getting her nails done. She gets fresh polish every 2 weeks. When I was growing up she never polished her nails beyond clear strengthening polish. Now she loves experimenting with color. Just like you said, her face lights up when you ask her about her nails! While it’s not for everyone, things like this is why my mom is now thriving and living her best life since moving to assisted living.

      On the contrary "raw and uncut" is not necessary. The material is really good but the crudeness wraps the goodness in rot - much better without the rot.

    • @WhatsinterestigToday
      @WhatsinterestigToday 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I love the crudeness it’s just right. I know where to go for uncut, …..here. Things that other people have tried to tell me but were not as effective as Mel. I go to church for the soft stuff. But wait a minute….🤔….Heck, even the Bible is uncut actually!! Come to think of it

    I do things intentionally to not intentionally exercise. I often sit/lay on the floor with laptop. It's a lot harder to get up and down. For years I wasn't doing this, and during that time getting on the floor was a nightmare. Now that I do it often, I perform this motion much easier than many people my age. I dance in front of the fridge while I look for something to make for dinner. I park the car further from the entrances to stores to walk farther. I do leg lifts while laying on the couch/bed. I'll skip steps on the stairs to make it harder. I'll balance on one leg while waiting in line. Lots of little exercises add up!

    • @BeegirlsHoneyHouse
      @BeegirlsHoneyHouse 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Kudos me too‼️I also park far from entrances, everywhere I go. I transport 2 bags of supplies for work with an average 25# load in-out and back home. 👍🏽

Today when I listened I struggled with connecting with the emotions - I could see a “glimpse “ of memories of being a good person and being thoughtful of caring but I didn’t really believe it. I felt like crying because I couldn’t really connect to that person that I know is in there . All I saw were images of how selfish I can be .

    In terms of evolution we have not forgotten our roots. Th mind builds on what we know. Crows tell you there is possibly meat. Birds warn of danger. And bird song is a pleasing sound. Nightfall tells us when to sleep. Smell tells women the right mate and men which woman is ready for mating. The homosapien is still there. We have devolved from being human.

    The sticky notes and going out of my way to do the things the night before to remind myself in the morning sounds great and all, but what docyou docwhen yiure all out of adderall amd you only have 10mg left beforexyour fill day in a week? Better yet, how do we all get off Addies and learn to be capable agaun without so many meds? Healthy isn't doing everything right, but needing 100mg of beta blockers. "If you don't wanna drink, or take Adderall, just put it as far as your bedroom as possible, so you end up having to shovel the snow just to get your meds. It will stop you from grabbing your cigarettes or heroin from the car . Or when its snowing it's the best. Take advantage of the snow so you don't end up driving to see your dealer until the snow and ice melts.
