To avoid the bra strap problem in the future, get a tank top that you know covers you properly and trace the straps on to paper, card or interfacing. Mark their position from side seams & centre on & you have a template you can pop over your patterns as fit insurance
I bought bamboo jersey from Dalston mills and it’s lovely quality for leggings not to too thick and not too thin. Love your wardrobe and the video, have a great holiday!
Love your holiday wardrobe ! Lauren at Guthrie and Ghani has leggings fabric , beautiful quality in Black and Navy usually . just ask to get the correct one lol . Enjoy your holiday x
I think all your makes look fantastic and I'm very envious of the swimsuits! Gorgeous. Also I was so happy to see your jumpsuit success. I'm glad you managed to rescue the fabric - it was definitely worth the effort. I don't know when your holiday is but I hope you have a fantastic time.😊
I owe it all to you! Seriously, I would not have thought of ironing it from wet but it did the trick. It seems obvious now I know but it wasn't. I was very pleased with the swimsuits but it took a lot of looking to find them 😂
Ooh another thought. Your gorgeous strappy dress with the annoying bra things: rather than just wearing it at home, you could cut them out but wear a top or jumper over the dress so it basically turns into a skirt and then you can keep wearing it out. Or wear a top under it and then you can still wear a bra but it won’t be seen - turn it into a pinafore.
Thank you! Funnily enough I'm starting to try making nbags and am finding lots of inspiration on TH-cam too. I love that we can all share here and cheer each other on. Honestly once you starting making your own clothes, you probably won't be able to stop like me 😂
Lovely. Just a thought: You could try slightly tucking in your white top into your bright pink culottes. It will give a hint of waist to help it look a bit less boxy. Of course, it’s personal choice and would look lovely either way.

Great tip, thank you!

Thank you so much, both for the kind words and also the Guthrie Ghani recommendation!
Aww - I'm just so glad I was able to help - it's horrible when you think you've ruined something so I'm happy it turned out OK 👌
It’s the worst feeling isn’t it, because you know you it was your own fault! So glad those creases finally came out 😁
Great holiday capsule wardrobe 👏🏻 I’m definitely guilty of taking too much and not wearing it all.
@@Hagardashery I must admit I learnt the hard way not to take too much 😂

Oh they look wonderful. I hope you have a good time, lots of combinations there too. ☺
Aw thank you! I'm so happy with everything ☺️
A lovely selection! As someone who hasn't made many clothes you are inspiring me to have a go at more. I mainly sew bags, cushions etc. at the moment.

I found using a fingernail file to the plastic nibs will smooth it right out, just wanted to share an idea😊
Oooh that’s such a great idea, thank you I’m going to try it!

Love your navy trousers in particular.
Aw thank you. I’m learning to tuck and half tuck but it doesn’t come naturally to me 😂
