Another idea is to use barbecue grill paint, from Walmart. It's half the price of engine paint; and it goes on very nicely, and dries in literally 3 minutes. I use the barbecue grill paint on my air-cooled motorcycle exhaust pipe; and it works great.
I recommend torquing the head nuts to a mere 8 foot pounds(coarse thread) and 6 foot pounds(fine thread). Over torquing these nuts is very common and leads to the top gasket getting progressively crushed thinner and thinner.

Hi there, I got a question. This is an aluminum engine if I'm not mistaken and if the engine was to be painted would that make the heat from the engine not easily dissipate off the engine?
It will hold a little bit more heat. Not too big an issue unless you are looking to run the bike hard. If you really want to run it hard. Get a KTM 50cc racing motor, which has the cylinder painted too
The heat is result of combustion, the best way to keep this type of engine cooler is high octane fuel the fuel induced by volume is less to achieve the same amount of work. Thus in this evaluation it is actually the only way to keep this engine running cool any added mass will not reduce the amount of fuel expended to produce power heat a byproduct of volume MMMMK ?
Quick question, the sprocket, my bicycle was already built when i purchased it i was having issues with the carburetor wich i fixed, but it gets me to the sprocket again, my bicycles sprocket does run smooth it does some clicks, but iv been runing it and usually go around 20-30, been riding it for a couple of months, and also when i start it or slow down the sprocket does some clicks and makes the bicycle jump a bit, this doesnt bother me but just wondering its safe to ride?

Also a lot of these heads ain’t shaped right and if ya deck head it might amuse piston to hit head bc of it so ya have to reshape it wich is why he’s using a Fred head it’s reshaped already if it’s a real Fred head. Looks so… and that lowers compression so ya have to make further changes like shaving it’s mating surfaces a little to bring it back to normal or decking the head further it’s all about the squish gap really.
YES, you can paint the head. If you are wanting to run fast and hard not suggested as it will slow down cooling. I have painted several heads w/ no issues
I still find it funny how people call it a high compression head lol it’s not…. If it was it would have to sit inside the damn cylinder it can only be high compression if ya deck the cylinder and if it actually had high compression you would need to get a compression release valve or have hell starting it…. That would be a high compression head high performance? Not really in fact the head only cools some some have less room so slightly more compression but the. Biggest and best actually have more room above piston so it stays a little cooler….. just for perspective high performance is just a sales tactic more like much needed upgrade bc the cylinder is so poor at heat transfer it’s crazy…. If it even lasts longer it can be called high performance or if it makes it cooler higher performance but not really it don’t really do anything at all without modification

VHT engine paint or most any paint. Those heads don't get too hot
How hot do these engines get? did you need to cure the paint?
Adamant Hunter They dont get TOO hot. No need to cure the paint. I ride it for the first time like 5 minutes, let it cool then ride on. No problesms
what color paint makes it go faster? black or white?
Depends on if you are running away or being chased.

On installing HC cylinder head is it not necessary to measure the squish band ? And if it’s too short/long what to do?
I don't because I don't modify these too much. Stock is what I mostly have ran
Aluminum torque's usually are about 13-14-15 foot pounds..... a fair soft twist of the wrist on a ratchet and socket.

how much more power could one expect making the swap to that cylinder head?
