Yes, “loss of station” is a sign of uterine rupture. I have walked into the home of a laboring woman and we couldn’t find the heartbeat. She was a thinner woman who had a cesarean with her first birth and then 3 VBACs. I could see a lump in the lower left quadrant of her abdomen and the other midwife couldn’t feel the baby’s head with vaginal exam. There was no bleeding but her uterus had ruptured and her baby had passed. A terrible but valuable experience for the midwives present.
Thank you! This happened to me on the day of my planned 3rd c section. I have no words to describe the pain and emotional stress it has left me. I wish i could tell every single c section Mommy my story just to make sure that this wont happen to them and to look out for the signs. My wonderful dr acted quickly and my little girl was fine but if we waited a little while longer she would not have been so lucky.

Hey, I had a uterine rupture during labour with my son (resulting in an emergency csection). I have found sex to be painful since then, its caused by stressed muscles. I can't advise anything with the doctors, but mine suggested pelvic floor therapy to help get things back to normal.
I had an emergency c-section and want a natural birth with this one im only 11 weeks I heard of this and got worried but everything comes with a risk soo I'm still gonna do it if I'm a good candidate for it i heard if you have a vertical scar then you cant have a vbac and I have a vertical scar but I'm still gonna try see if I can imma be so sad if i can't but Ill understand why 😔

There are 2 scars, one on the uterus and the visible one on your belly. If the one on your uterus is vertical then it's really not advised to vbac. Im pretty sure the one on your abd doesn't affect the risk either way. My mom had a vertical abd and horizontal uterine scar with my brother and had a vbac with me.

Hi there. Hi! I know there are many women that choose this and idk why. But hey it’s their choice. But many more are rather coerced into c sections it has gotten very bad within the medical community. Do some first time moms are already cut open and then that puts them in a different situation. My doctor or anyone there would tell me what it was , they were like keeping it a secret from me. Now 4 months later it is very uncomfortable to have sex have horrible pressure an bruising feeling inside of my uterus area. There is no way for me to get comfortable! I just really need some understanding of what this could of been an what in should do. Went in the the hospital that day to be induced but was already having contractions on my own. My body just wasn't recognizing it cause 10 hours later I was 1 cm. Thank you in advance if answer back really hope you do please!!! Sorry dont know how to use punctuation ma'am
Hey, I had a uterine rupture during labour with my son (resulting in an emergency csection). I have found sex to be painful since then, its caused by stressed muscles. I can't advise anything with the doctors, but mine suggested pelvic floor therapy to help get things back to normal.
Always trust your gut!!
How pray tell is it “natural” to literally risk not only your own life, but the life of your baby not to mention abandoning an existing child and spouse so you can have an experience? Dumb as a damned brick, maybe you shouldn’t have more children.
@@codename495 do what now? Nothing in my comment said anything about abandoning a child and alot of women have vbacs and come out fine its not for everyone and if i want more children it'll be none of your business i don't even know you and you don't know me so I'm just gonna assume you are a troll looking for attention and begin to ignore you 🙄 educate yourself please and thank you🙏 oh by the way thanks for calling me dumb I know who I am and who I'm not words atleast you leaving everyone else alone have fun making fun of me and have a great life 🙂 I'll be reading your comment's please do entertain me
@@codename495 i said everything comes with a risk. It's literally true. giving birth is a risk in itself and you're going crazy over me wanting a vbac so bad? I would make sure my baby was safe and I'm pretty darn sure the doctors would as well. If you have any children you would know birth isn't easy.
@@codename495 there is less than a 1% chance of uterine rupture. Please educate yourself instead of attacking people.
Neonatal resuscitation video please x
You think I should try verginal after 2 c sections
hi! can I ask for advise... is vba3c advisable? what's the percentage for uterine to rupture for vba3c?
0.5%
After a third c-section?! Holy hell, it’s high enough that any in with a brain will advise against it.
@@ajilashajahan8627 , 0.5% is only for after 1 csec risk, risk goes up with each additional cesarean.
I'm not sure about after 3. Risk is 0.5% for 1 cesarean and goes up to 2% after 2 cesareans.
@@katiehensley290 oooh ok.. thnks for the rply

Get her there quickly??? You took a long time checking her and then the doctor checked....wow.
Nooooo vbacs EVER....😩
what?
Shouldn't of gotten a c section then hey
Hi there. Hi! I know there are many women that choose this and idk why. But hey it’s their choice. But many more are rather coerced into c sections it has gotten very bad within the medical community. Do some first time moms are already cut open and then that puts them in a different situation. I disagree with them unless ABSOLUTLEY necessary but docs will do it because you’re taking too long, over due, etc.
She explained why the mother had to get the first c-section at 1:40.
