I really appreciate your pantry. The days before the Spin Mop were dark days! Got to ask "what does your house smell like"? When you said that I laughed. My youngest daughter always would ask her friends "What's my house smell like?" The response was candles and popcorn. My older daughters friends said my house smelled like Barnes and Nobles. So my house is an old book that drinks coffee while burning a candle and making popcorn.
Great Vid Lauren! I am one of four and my mom was a stay at home mom. She ran a tight ship, but when a woman is a working mom like us life certainly gets messy and that's ok that's why you clean it up! My mom would get upset when the house got messy and were had to play outside so that things didn't get messy. I wish she didn't get tripped up over things like that a house is in a constant state of having to maintain and making it better serve the family and you change things up just like you were doing. I still love her 90 year old self to bits. She isn't as strict with things as she once was. Sending Love to you all you mom's and home keepers out there! Don't be hard on yourself and sometimes you need to take a step back and evaluate and make a plan that works for you!

I'm using different calendars. One is for work, one on my Phone and one is hanging in our House with appointments important for the family. My phone has birthdays, private appointments and really important Work appointments as a seconds reminder. As for bills: I try to pay them the day I get them. Besides that I'm using the FlyLady System. And I have a To-Do-App on my phone to plan Dinner, Groceries and stuff, that need to be done. I got several lists, from one for buying gifts to one for fixing up the house...all of them can, but don't have to be shared with my hubby. We working moms really need to be organized 😂 I would love to see how you are planning, I always need inspiration to improve. ❤️
Also: I'm glad to see, that your house is actually used and you live there. Life is not Instagram, and it can get messy.

Hi lady, loved the video. My 2 boys are in the 4th and 7th grades. I have them start their homework on by themselves, and them to do what they can. Then when we check their work, my husband or I will help with what they don't know. My oldest tries to help his little brother to give us a break.
This has helped my 4th grader think for himself. That way we are helping one child at a time. You got this. 😊

I had a 4-drawer office size file cabinet that I would put kid’s schoolwork, important papers etc. in there. For the kids’ schoolwork I would ask them to look in the files I had for them to see if they want what I was saving for them. Some of it they threw away and some they kept. Also any of their schoolwork or art projects etc. can be scanned and kept on a computer file. ✨ Love this video Lauren! ✨ can’t wait for another “ porch decorate with me”, that would be fun! I love watching those and you do such an amazing job with them. ✨

Single momma of three here. We homeschool and I work from home running my own event business. Started a TH-cam channel over a year ago with a different channel. I organize by planning out my monthly calendar, then weekly updating and detailing then daily I go back over it. My kiddos (all teens) know what’s going on at the beginning of the mo with weekly and daily reminders

You truly motivated me to organize, declutter and clean. I recently went through cabinets and found had many cleaning items etc. And kept buying more and didn't need. I try my best to organize my bills, files and desk but I do drop the ball and everything gets messed up. I do need to make a calendar with important dates to pay bills, put important dates such as birthdays. Have a blessed week.

I don’t use commercial cleaning products, just water/ vinegar for glass and baking soda for sinks etc. But I do use Mrs Myers for counters as I LOVE THE FRAGRANCE! 🇨🇦

We will be babysitting my grandchildren this weekend for 4 days at their house. Not looking forward to the mess I know my precious 3 year old granddaughter will be making. She also is very headstrong like her daddy. Her older 11 year old brother is usually very helpful. My cleaning products have gotten out of hand. Not going to be buying any more until I use up what I have. I’m also deciding what I like the most.

I decorate for spring right after valentines like I start that night or the next day. I put out a lot of white and simple greenery for March and then add pastels as we move into april

You seem to be a good mom! Yes let kids be kids!😊 I have a mail caddy on the wall in my kitchen with bills due in order, and make a list for every payday what needs paid. I'm old school, I like to keep track on paper.😉 After a few yrs of military, home businesses, and home schooling 15 yrs, I'm retired, lol. I've been able to help family who had a transplant, was passing and had a broken ankle since I don't work, so don't feel I am missing out on anything & can be there to help others. Just keep it up! I did the same thing with the kids school work. They’d come home every day and do it at the table right away when they were younger. My husband worked ft and was a ft student at the time so it was HARD! Just keep smiling ☺️

I work from home all the time. When my kids were that little the playroom would get stressful when they had too many toys. Especially the little toys. I would kill myself putting them in certain bins and keeping it organized so most of them just ended up getting donated for my sanity lol

I love how you look at everything and just go Yep, I need to do this, this and this. I see mess and clutter in my own house and implode… completely paralysed by it all. Also first born in kindy so would love any tips for managing all the school stuff. It’s completely different from when they’re at preschool for three days a week 😩
I do work from home full time and I would love to see you do a video on organizing for work. I do medical coding and I have to have 2 computer screens on my desk so I have very little desktop space. Some type of bill organization would be helpful too. I don't have trouble with my desk being a catch all because it's in my bedroom away from everyday traffic. I have to be strict with myself that if it's not bill or work related it doesn't go on my desk. I try very hard to keep everything in the bedroom uncluttered because I work in this room 8 hours a day and I can't focus on work when my room is a mess

I live in Central Florida so by the 1st of March it's already spring here and we can start decorating I can't wait. Only thing is here comes the pollen also. Work from home also I have a little salon built on the side of my house so between clients I can go into my house and get a lot done it's really the best of both worlds.

The one advise I can give you is to treat the kids school work like their teachers do. They assist but don't do. That means that your kids know your system, at first they might struggle to do all of it for themselves, but that also teaches them that the responsibility to make sure all work is completed and checked is not on you the mom but on them the student. That is how most teachers teach. Dont pull it out of their bags it should be their job. They should find the folders that you place the work in and then it should be their responsibility to make sure that it is all completed. I taught my children that I got my education and it is their turn to get theres. We will be there to help them not do for them. When we do for all we struggle for ourselves and it can be overwhelming.
