    Watching you make this out of a table cloth has really inspired me. It is totally stunning and unique. the skirt with peplum i just watched was also a winner. Have been stuck in bed for 3 weeks with a slipped disc and cant wait to be up and able to work on some projects. have even purchased a smaller machine for my daughters so they can have a go at making a simple skit. thanks for the friendly tutorial. Will definitely be trying this one out. Tammy x

    Love this. I have been picking up table clothes at second hand stores so cheap, it seems no one wants these any more and I can t let them not be appreciated, so I buy them. Secondly, I m learning to sew and you are inspiring me with your creativity. How fun is this that creativity is being explored and sewing fun shared through TH-cam. Thanks for your being so creative and taking the time to share it.

    I. know that you all use alot of patterns but unfortunately it's very hard to Come by and expensive to purchase online from where I'm at in the Caribbean though. But I do love how the end results turn out.

    • @StitchlessTV
      @StitchlessTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +diana diamond Well actually I usually reccomnd that you don't use patterns. It can be very difficult to fit a pattern so I usually reccomnd that you trace out a garment that you like or because over here there are many charity clothing shops, I say that it's even good to just cut up the seams, iron it flat and use that with a seam allowance. Lucky you, be it's beautiful where you live! Tree X

    • @StitchlessTV
      @StitchlessTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +litlmonkiebutt Hello, 2 drop lengths one for the front and 1 for the back and then however ing your sleeves are. So ....if my coat is 1mtr long, I would buy 2.5mtrs (50cms for sleeves) But if you had wide fabric and felt iu could get your 2 drop lengths it of the width, then I would get 1.5mtrs. Does that make sense? Tree X

      It has a name. I have gotten. Famous Barr sold them for many $$ back when they were a shop. I was hoping you knew. I don't see them around stores here in the states , so I thought if it had a name I could look for it on line. ( I hated it as a tablecloth but love your summer coat and had always liked the cut away details in that style of table cloth. It was worth my asking. I liked it a lot! Thanks for the tutorials, really do like them.
