I do two. I thought the 3 point line was going to make it better. I think they need to change the 3 point line to further away and something corny like 4th quarter only. The money quarter. Or last 5 minutes of each quarter.
This would been an nba finals matchup in 1981 but the Bullets was old and past their prime and Unseld retired and Hayes was old, Rockets moved to the Midwest Division in the western conference in 1980-1981 season.
He’s about 21-22!8: which is still really young. Right here he’s still got that raw talent, could use some work with his fundamentals. Overall though still a very talented player. The next 2-5 he was unstoppable.
I don’t recall Don Criqui being an NBA announcer, just NFL. But wow, Pete Maravich could have been a great full-time broadcaster had he gone that route after his early retirement. Moses Malone really came to his own here
Calvin Murphy and John Lucas was a bad azz backcourt. Too bad the Rudy T incident with Kermit Washington happened. The Rockets traded Lucas for Rick Barry after that.
I miss the NBA on CBS!!🏀🏀

RIP "Pistol Pete" MARAVICH. Great Player gone Too Soon
And 10 years later, Moses became a Bullets player!
I didn’t know Pistol Pete did any other commenting other than the lakers vs warriors game! Thanks!!

This series Moses Malone came alive. He began to show his stuff. I always thought his better years in the league were with the rockets.
Oh for sure he's probably 19years old in this game..

Malone also wore 21, I thought he only wore 24 with Houston, wow I had no idea!

John Lucas thought that he was the best point guard in the league then. But he got hooked on cocaine
